Food was ok but way overpriced. Atmosphere is fun with the kids.

The kids loved it! It is a fun place. With a fun and exciting atmosphere. That being said, I felt it was over crowded and super loud. Out of large of the of 12 people, 2 people's food were forgotten. (Mine and my son's).

A great restaurant for the family, especially if you have kids. The prices are a bit high and food isn t the best but it is worth the experience. This is my second time at this location, my daughters first and she enjoyed it. They have a limited menu right now due to coronavirus. Our food was good, they did deliver our food to the wrong table so we had to wait extra for it to be made again. We did the ride afterwards and it was nice, worth the money.

My mouth waters every time I think bout this place. Great food and better dessert in my opinion. It's even had a boat ride in it. I recommend this place.

I love it here! I know the theme is cheesy, but who doesn't love cheese. The food is excellent and the drinks are terrific! Not to mention the volcano desert!

Food is good if a bit pricey but cool family atmosphere too

ADVENTURE RIDE-dinky little ride. It lasts all of 5 minutes tops. Spooky and well done, could be scary to some kids. Over priced at 5.99.

I'm giving this place 4 stars because our server was amazing. He was extremely polite and very attentive. I wish I could remember his name. Because he deserves 5 stars. The food is just ok. And I would give it a 3. We started with the nachos which were pretty good. But my salad definitely was not the freshest I've ever had. I had to pick out quite a bit of old lettuce. I also asked for no green onions, and they were everywhere. And the mandarin oranges looked a little smashed. The chicken on the salad was good tho. My husband ordered the Chicken Chimi-cha-chas. He said they were alright. But were served with brown guacamole. Overall, you definitely go here to experience the atmosphere, not so much the food.

Overall experience was as expected, , we had BBQ burgers. Burger was ok if it didn't have the BBQ and bacon and onion ring it would of had no flavor.

The environment was very cautious of disease prevention. Food was delicious. Most importantly, my 2 year old daughter had an absolute blast with all the animatronics and the build-a-bear store.

If it weren't so crowded I'd give it 5 stars. The food was great, server was friendly, and the kids had A BLAST. But WAY too many people were in there. The tables were all distanced well, but there was no way to distance yourself from anyone in the gift shop/waiting area. Wear your mask!

My party had 10 people and no reservation. The place was packed when we showed up so there was a slight wait.Getting the order out as quickly as they did was imperessive to say the least. Food was good, and in good quantities.

Food is not all that great... It's mostly nice place to take the kids

After bringing our food, the waitress did not return to check on us.The waitress was flirting with the bartender for 20 minutes instead of checking back in. My son needed ketchup, my fiance needed a refill on his drink, and I wanted to order a sparkling volcano for my Fiance and son, whose birthdays we were celebrating. When the waitress finally did return, she asked my CHILD if he wanted the $30 desert!!! At this point, I did not want to stay any longer... My fiance spoke to the manager about the issues. he apologized for her behavior, but no compensation was offered. The food and atmosphere of the restaurant were excellent, unfortunately, the service was awful....will NOT return

They actually have really good food and drinks. Try the strawberry lemonade, it's amazing!

Bill was incorrect and the when we explained what was wrong waitperson came back twice with it still incorrect. It took a long time to leave. On a good note the food was good.

Good food and plenty of it. The server did not review our order with us and came out with an understandable mistake. He offered to fix it but we would have to wait again so we took the mistake. No offer to compensate.

Amazing! What an amazing time with our family to be together. Excellent food. Wait staff is outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant for just good family fun. Oh and the gift shop is so fantastic.

So.....they tell us an hour wait.....they announce that our party is ready to be seated. Get the menus and parade us around the restaurant....and we end up back at the reservation desk. Sorry, your table isn't ready! Wow....ok......so we then wait some more. We did finally get seated. This was my first time to eat here. Even did the boat ride since we had an hour to kill. This meal and service better be amazing or I won't ever be back

So I'm still sitting here on a Sunday restaurant not even half full waiting for an hour for food very disappointed

Never again will I visit this restaurant. I took my son to eat because the very first time we visited he was too small to remember.
Our adventure started when we were seated at a table right next to the kitchen door. It took our waitress at least 15 minutes before even greeting us and taking a drink order. When she did approach our table she pulled out a single crumpled paper napkin and set it on our table. (By the time she did come to the table we gave her our entire order of food and drinks all at once.) We had to send my son s food back because what was supposed to be chicken nuggets tasted strongly of fish. That was fixed and we continued with the meal. While sitting there we had a waitress stand next to my son while she looked around the restaurant and started coughing over him. We finished up eating and after closing out out ticket another waitress impatient to get her food delivered hit me in the back of my head with a full plate of food while squeezing between tables. She just said sorry quickly and kept about her business. Our waitress just looked at me when I said something about being hit. I complained to the manager and he gave us a free ride on their boat ride for the 2 of us. I wasn t looking for anything other than a happy kid and being able to make a nice memory with my son. Instead it turned out as a bad experience.

Nice ambiance especially for kids! My daughter loved it. It was very expensive and meals were okay, nothing special but not bad. So okay once in a while, it is fun! We also took the floaty ride, my daughter loved it too.

We made reservations and it was really quick, the food was limited but pretty good! I think every dish we ordered it was enormous that we couldn't finish it, that's a pretty good sign. I would say the price of everything is in par with Disney, but that's what you get for a vacation destination.

Great place to take your kids. The gift shop has lots of great things. The food here is always so good! They have a little river ride that's family friendly from babies to adults. It's a little pricey but I dont mind it because the food is really good. I'd rather pay a lot for good food the a little for bad food. The gift shop is not cheap but again it's good quality so it's worth it. My 16 month old grand daughter was scared of the elephants by our table and our waitress gladly found us another one. It's kinda noisy by the waterfall so if you want a quieter spot dont pick that location. Although the whole atmosphere is Rainforest based so it's not quite. The thunder and lightning and rain is really cool. Lots of fun... great food... take the kids and enjoy

Food was hot but needed more season like salt and pepper added. Staff was polite but taste like hospital food.

Right by the Gulf, good food and great ambience. Ride was under construction when we went.

food was really good and they also have a water raft ride inside. you have to pay separate from the dine in but it's worth it in my opinion.

Burgers and Caribbean Rice are good. I liked the Mexicana burger. But the atmosphere is really the reason to come here. If you want to experience a cool dessert get the volcano, but you can usually see one coming out of the kitchen when someone else orders it.

We went in with low expectations as this place seemed extremely touristy and crowded BUT we were pleasantly surprised. We had a 20 minute wait (Sunday afternoon) which went by quickly bc the kids were super enamored by the aquariums and decor. They offer a 7-10 minute ride ( lazy river with animatronics ) inside which is cool thing to do once to pass time. The food was good and we will be back bc all our items were tasty and not overly salty...everyone was super friendly and best of all - this is right by the beach. Main point is that the kids will love it and we literally saw 90% families (none of the kids were running around as they looksd pretty content with the food and scenery) so I d suggest it. A little pricey but that is to be expected with location and overall ambiance.

Food was great! Face painting and going on the ride made my kids so happy. They loved all the decorations and the fish! The thunderstorms were are a really cool touch!

Went here tonight on a Sunday. Service was great, food was good, and absolutely no wait time.

Even with an hour wait, we found the rainforest ride and shopping fun! Our dining experience was well worth it.

Food is over priced, but you are paying for the experience. Great for kids, lovely ride, great service. LONG wait. 2 hrs. Worth it still.

Very beautiful scenery (but that's to be expected inside a rainforest cafe haha) friendly servers, and amazing food. In addition, this location has an indoor raft ride that takes you through a rainforest (additional charges apply for tickets) If you are in the area, I would highly recommend stopping by!

The service was good but the food was absolutely disappointing. The fish tacos were bland, the veggies were served in a puddle of grease and the burger was dry as a bone. Not worth the price, if you go for the atmosphere then stick to fried food I guess.

Coolest place, I never knew they had a riverboat ride inside. We signed up for the Landry club membership and the manager gave us tickets to it. Great customer service Lacy!

Volcano!!! Always a fun place to eat with the kids, but the food is actually really good too. Shrimp tacos were great. And try the midori keepsake drink.

Had a good visit here the night before our cruise. The kids loved the animals and scenery. The food was just average and a little pricy for what you got but it was a good experience.

You get such a fun vibe from this place, but the food doesn't exactly match the same vibe. I went here as a kid and loved it, but it's changed. Cute place to go with kids, but honestly not with the money you've gotta pay

First off it took 2 hrs when we we're trying to get in and out when the restaurant was dead. Offered a refill on my drink after the appetizer and was never refilled. Asked for a salad with the entree and never got it. menu said Baja fish tacos but you only get one. Asked if they could sub fried for rice and they totally forgot. Then to top it all off she brings suvenere glasses, we're Like oh that was nice till we find out they just automatically rang us in for them. Tried to talk to the manager, a talk lanky white fellow who basically refused to fix the problem. Not to mention forgot sauces for coconut shrimp and bearly saw our waitress whose name will. He saida. And there is no where on the receipt to tell anyone about how crappy our experience was to have problems resolved. Thanks rainforest cafe for putting a bad taste in our mouths! Nothing really that great about the inside beside it's decorations and about 10 robotic creatures. Anyone who wrote a good review for this place must work for the company!
