Great restaurant such a neat place. Food was really good and plates were big as well as their dessert!!

The kids loved it, the decor was very cool very jungle like and made the kids think it was real. A bit pricey for a family of more than 4.

Love this freaking place! I came here for the first time while on vacation at Jamaica beach. The food is soo damn good like my favorite is the amazon corn chowder and the swimming hole which is a drink which I also love. The inside of the place is supposed to be like a rain forest of course, every half hour a "tropical storm" happens inside of the restaurant it's so cool plus a souvenir shop is in side with also with a ride which I recommend going. But, it is very pricey to eat there but it's definitely worth going every once in a while plus the employees there are very nice and it's very loud so you would have to speak louder but other than that great and fun place to go with your family

Amazing the waiter/bartender we got was great she was really nice and the manager is really nice helped me trying to figure out how to redeem my Groupon we had a great time

Excellent food - maybe a bit pricey but really our 2 children love the rainforest decor & aquariums .did the ride too , again they loved it (11 and 8 years old) but of no interest to adults.

Kids loved it so much fun. Nice gift shop and decent food, little over priced but great and amazing experience. Gift shop prices are fair. Must do at least once

The kids enjoyed themselves at this unique restaurant. Food was delicious, albeit a little more expensive than I would have preferred. I suppose you pay for the experience. There were several animals in the rainforest and periodic thunderstorms that added to the atmosphere. Staff was fast and friendly.

Great place for kids! It's pricey so if you have a large family I would suggest getting one of their hamburgers. They are awesome and huge! Afterwards you can take a ride into the rain forest that's located near the front entrance. It's not fast or scary so the little ones can ride too!

Waiter seemed like he was rushing wrong drink twice, the other drinks were flat so it just started out bad. Food is ok to say it's very pricey. I give it a 3 cuz it was just that..ok.

We went for my sisters birthday and wow what a great experience! Jose was great, very attentive!! Also, Lacy (I think he is the manager) was awesome!! He came over and made sure everything was going well and gave my sister complementary tickets for the boat ride since it was her birthday!! We will be back!! Awesome service!!

Great food and good service. We go around lunch during the middle of the week and never even have to wait to be seated.

I'm not too fond of having the lights go down in the middle of my eating.

AWESOME restaurant!!!! So much to see inside and out. The food was spectacular also. The service is awesome!! Great friendly family atmosphere. Drinks are also delicious!! if you are in town go check this place out.

the service is fine but .... the food we ordered looked like a garbage dump. In the photo everything looks beautiful and appetizing, but reality is terrible. The meat was burnt, very hard, ribs 4 small bones and obviously very old. After cancer taste of my little girl changed, she ordered a hamburger and they brought very burnt brrrr. We not complained since it was her birthday but Rainforest Cafe RUINED our daughter birthday. Very high price for very low quality of food and services.
WE NOT RECOMMENDED THIS CAFE TO ANYONE!!! And WE DEFINITELY NEVER COME BACK. SHAME SHANE SHAME!!!

Still pricey but good food.lousy selection of tshirts...not good ones with jungle animals on them...Not STUPID LIKE LION WITH HEAD PHONES AND DREADLOCKS..

High-priced for not that good of food only real reason to go is if you have kids and they can look at the fish tanks and enjoy the animatronics and environment

Beyond cool setting on the inside and out but crazy expensive for drinks and food is pretty high.

Waited 15 minutes to be seated, then waited over 20 minutes after being seated and no one came to serve us, so we left. Of course when they noticed us leaving they finally asked if we had been helped. Too little too late. Horrible service.

Fun family place! Food was ok. Took awhile but its was good

We took our grandkids to the Galveston location while in town. My husband & I were not impressed. Our waitress was not good at all. We saw her to take our order & when we were done eating & when it came time to pay. That was it. So the service was bad. The menu was also limited so my husband could not find anything that sounded good so he did not eat. While they did practice social distancing & all employees wore masks I was great full for that. I feel if I m going to spend this kind of money at a restaurant than everything should be top notch. This location left much to be desired. The grandkids loved the atmosphere.

Waitress rolled her eyes when I requested a refill for my daughters drink by right she charged me for 4 drinks only 3 dining. The rotisserie chicken came with mash potatoes and vegetables instead french fries was on the plate. How do you tip this poor service?

Volcano dessert is amazing. Nice variety in the menu. Realistic atmosphere.

Love this place one of our most days whenever in Galveston! We especially enjoy the ride.

The river ride is awesome. The place is very interactive. I have been here before and I'm back again.

Service was good but drinks (Margaritas) were full of artificial stuff

It is just ok. The wait staff is great but the place feels very commercial. I think it didn't helped that our child was scared of the gorilla animatronics. The food was just ok but if our kid wanted to go back at another point I would go but not unless she asked.

This is a wonderful family experience! The food was amazing. I am terribly allergic to Chicken. The Chief personally came out and took my order. He promised me no cross contamination. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. The gift shop gives a Veterans discount.

Coolest one I've been to yet! The ride was impressive, food is always good and service was excellent. Location is perfect! Outside waterfalls off the volcano are cool to see as well.

Oh this place was Soo cool..
Sortof like a Bucces.. lots of gifts in .. waiting area.... For 6 of us to ride the river rafting was .. $48?

Good service and fun experience. Lots of options if you have dietary constraints. Overall I feel the food was lacking for the price point but the experience makes it worth it.

We only went for the ride this time. It's a cute ride. We do enjoy the food at Rainforest Cafe.

Food was a bit overpriced and the kitchen was slow. Great serving staff though.

They took my name down wrong for seating. So we waited around for an hour and a half instead of the hour and twenty minutes we were told it would take before we found out something was wrong. After it was discovered they had my name wrong it took another thirty minutes to get us seated. Barely an apology. The service was ridiculously slow. First time being treated this way at this location but it was so bad I doubt we'll be going back any time soon.

Excellent atmosphere and great food. Right on the seawall so its touristy but we live here. The steak,shrimp and rib plate is fantastic. Only complaint is the process are steep and you are not allowed to substitute anything as far as sides go. Other then that a great way to have a meal.

All of the robotic animals surrounding you while you eat under a rainforest canopy is a pretty unique dining experience! We loved the thunderstorms, too. They were also fantastic with both of my kids severe food allergies and the chef even personally came out to take care of us. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Meh..it was okay. The staff is very friendly and professional, but if you want a better steak, go to outback

It's a normal rainforest experience. The menu is drastically reduced. The fish and chips were spectacular, but the burgers weren't up to snuff for the price paid.
