This is a lot of fun for older children over all there is a lot of walk-in between each ride and a huge line to wait in.. we were there all day and spent 80% of the time waiting in lines. Food options are all unhealthy so I suggest to take some healthy snacks along with you, seating is good and the customer team has always been fun and good. The kids area is great if that s the only place you go to because everything is there in one small space for the young ones. The major let down is the lines and space between each ride

It was a bit pricey at $200/family including an AA discount! I think because of the price it kept the queues reasonable short though. There was never longer than a 10 minute wait for a ride which was awesome for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Rides were fun and we'll kept and the shows were very entertaining. J Geeks were great!

3 stars for the rides, it were fun and we all enjoyed the rides but STAFF... only ONE guy out of ALL the staff that works there actually made us feel welcomed and that we're not a burden for wanting to try the different rides.. I think management need to give staff more training on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Otherwise, fun place for kids..

Was disappointed that Rainbows End would not let you bring in your own food. A member of my family has certain dietary requirements due to health issues but was still refused when asked to allow his food in . The cafes sold no food able for him to eat. Not happy but the kids had fun.

Amazing place for a first time theme park although would suggest bringing heaps of water with you as it's four times as expensive as anywhere else. I highly recommend the Invader and the low stratosphere rides for those unsure :)

Had an overall pleasant day here, but most of the exciting rides were closed off due to 'high winds'. No Fearfall, no Invader, not even the Rollercoaster. Not the park's fault, but it did weaken the experience.

So definitely wait for an ideal day to come to get the most out of it.

While not as impressive as the big international fun parks, there is still more than enough to keep a family entertained for a day. And best of all you can still strike days with next to no ques. Brilliant when it's like that.

The only real theme park in New Zealand, and worth a visit. The number of rides isnt vast and the majority of them involve spinning but they are all good fun.

The usual rollercoaster and pirate ship, although the pirate ship is being retired, are good fun to ride. The rollercoaster really throws you about and you feel the G force in the corkscrew.

Hight requirements do exist. For some rides there is a accompanied restriction of 80cm. Or, minimum height of 120cm or 150cm. One ride has a maximum height of 190 cm

There is a separate section for little kids under 120cm

A tidy well kept place with a good array of food outlets.

If you love to have adventures day or weekend this is one of the adventurous place to spend your day in Auckland. Some of the rides will really freak you out. But if you like to enjoy something slow and relaxing will recommend train and boat rides.....

The place is suitable for very young kids to adults. The Kids Kingdom is fun but only for kids below 8 years old. Certain rides in Kids Kingdom are not allowed for juga taller than 120cm.
Rides in other parks are fun.
The only setback about this image is food choice is limited and expensive

A nice place to spend a day with the family. Fair value for money, especially on the price of meals on site but possibility of having a picnic. Various attractions, for all ages but not all recent or of unequal quality. Possibility of finding a water fountain on site.

One of the worst entertainment experiences in a lo...

One of the worst entertainment experiences in a long time. Arrived Friday 9th October, took 15 min for staff to tell us we can gain entry through the shop. Once at the booth we got told due to the high wind 4 rides will not be operating and the one other attraction is currently closed. I guess we had the option to dart then but alas we opted to stay. Gave us a $10.00 Credit on the tickets for the inconvenience of no decent rides. The $10 "credit" did not work at the hot-dog store where we tried to use them. So much for the credit on each ticket. Then there was the inordinate amount of cueing. If 4 rides are not working did they not think there would be an over-load on the other operating rides!!. No extra staff - in fact it took a whopping 50 minutes to get onto boat ride. Not helped by the fact that as the kids got to the front of the cue, staff decided to fill the all the boats - another 10 to 15 minutes of waiting. No plan to do one boat at a time! In all spent 4 hours at rainbows end, for the kids to experience 4 rides in all. Nothing but cuing and awful food. What a waste of time and money.

This is an awesome day out. Lots of fun and exciting rides and the lines aren t bad at all. The only negative would be that the only food outlets sell burgers, chips and deep fried stuff and there are no healthy or quality food options.

We had a lot of fun at Kidz Kingdom today and the toddlers had the best day! Nice and decent cafe in the play area. Exceptional and hardworking staff named Adam assisted the kids and looked after them for most of the rides. Also, he explained the do s and dont s before starting the kiddie rides and cheerfully talked to the kids while leading them to the exit area. However, most of the staff operating the rides looked like they were so sick of what they were doing, no enthusiasm and not friendly.
