Only a couple of rides that really do it for me now
Clean premises and friendly staff.Good variety of rides.
Much improved after the Kiddies Kingdom upgrade. A little expensive but lots of fun and well worth the visit for families.
Lively crowd all over the park. Went during a busy period so couldn't try most of the rides. Stratosphere was the highlight of the day
Best to try something new ... If they have couple of more rides will make it a lot better
Auckland and i believe new zealands only real theme park. Its really fun, might be a let down if you've been to the aussie ones
All round great experience, staff were all friendly and helpful. Cleanliness of the park was good considering the amount of people through there. Wasn't long waits for rides. The live entertainment was awesome. Great day.
I've been to Rainbows End numerous times in my short life. The rides are mostly negligible if your goal is to get the greatest adrenaline rush possible. The whole park is directed heavily towards young, young children. If you're not a new family, don't bother. Invader is fun though.
Had a lovely day of fun with my family. My son loved all carousel in there.
Pretty awesome place, I ve been here a few times over my lifetime and each time has held excitement but also disappointment. Almost all the rides are quite short, and if you re going on weekends or school holidays then the lines are about half hour long. But overall I think everyone should go at least once, whether they re kiwi or from overseas.
Children just love it!!! It's good to let them learn the traffic rules before driving
Great place for kids. We went to kid's kingdom.Guess it was a lazy day not much people. The ladies in charged of running the rides looked bored and move really slowly.Except for Adam! He was very accommodating and jolly.Approachable and really explained the rides.
Would definitely recommend going in the colder months duiring the week if you can, w not on a Thursday in June, hardly any people and zero wait times.
This place is fantastic. Great for parties and fun days out with your family
We took our grandkids they had a wonderful time the rides were terrific, they had a go at everything well worth visiting .
Some nice rides and not too busy. But definitely not worth full price.
Great family day out for 8 year olds birthday. Kids live show was fun and interactive with cool prizes. On a cloudy gloomy winters day, all the rides were available which was awesome. They are strict with no food or drink allowed to be taken in, I wasn't allowed my large bottle of apple juice which was obviously for the kids. Food was tasty ,I had $14 American hot dog combo with chips and large drink. They also had yummy pizzas for sale. Overall a fun day out (my 5th visit) , worth what I paid, and happy that I got $20 discount for booking family super pass online.
This is a neat amusement park with a lot of the new fun rides. It can get crowded on school holidays, so try and schedule appropriately.
The employees are great, and they will let you stay on the ride for another go if there is no line.
It was a good day but a shame that we were unable to go on all the rides due to maintenance and a schedule that restricted what rides we were able to try
Paid full price for the rides but my child was not allowed on most of the rides due to height restrictions. When buying ticket online, height indications are not clearly noted. Another issue, have to stand on long queues (stood for an hour) before you get your turn for adult rides. Whole day managed only for rides
Expensive but fun . Needs some more stuff and crowded in holidays.
Good for birthdays. Even has a separate area for younger kids.
The children loved it. One thing we noticed is the facial expressions on the staff running the rides. Two operators put effort into the job that made the experience better. The rest need to have lessons in smiling with a small bit of enthusiasm. Give the place a five star then.
Kid's Kingdom really good! 5/5 Friendly staff and good rides, plenty of shade & seats, nice food. Visited rest of park in the afternoon too -- driver's town & log flume great fun for 3 and 5 year old, some queues for bumper boats. 4/5.
Took a group of little children
Not enough rides entertainment for little ones as we constantly had to queue
Enjoyed it though
There could also be more seating for parents at the rides.
A little pricey for kid, could be cheaper for locals
Was expensive but miss 5 & I were there for 5hours so it events out quite well. Would do again
Had heaps of fun, could easily spend the whole day there. Cons would be how loud the show was, the speakers were cranked right up. And the games prices to win the toys were ridiculous
A great family outing. We the grandparents loved it as much as our 5 year old birthday girl
Get rid of schedules, staff are very lazy, change the motion master movie the water raft movie has been playing for the last 5 years if you can't get a new movie put an older better movie on like sponge Bob or ice age at least kids liked those ones.
Slowing down the go karts and getting rid of the old engines and replacing them with slower ones and giving the go karts metal armoring is the main reason why people are hating your park now it's ridiculous as far as the people are concerned you might as well close your park it's pointless to be open there's no costume people anymore, no unlimited rides unless it's the school holidays, when I went there were like the only people at the park, I used to love this park it's horrible now
Big crowds and very busy, but worthwhile. Good you can access from the large area to the younger kids area and back again
Great theme park, close to railway and bus stations, across from the Manuka shopping centre.
Loved it. Friendly staff. Our 4 year old had the best day
Good local place for the kids during vacation. Good amount of cool rides.
Suited kids of all ages and adults able to enjoy it as well
my kids favorite place. Nice place for sunny day, get a excited
Price is too high, and there is no special que for online booking
Arrived just as rainbows end was opening with a group of 25 people and decided to get the more tame rides done first. As we went to get on 1 of 'the big 5' rides about 30 minutes later we were told that all 5 were shut due to not being able to contact their weather people about the wind speed. This put a damper on the day as now every other guest was queuing on the few remaining rides, resulting in barriers being brought out to define/restrict the queues better and wait times in excess of an hour. On the plus side at least they made the VR/escape room area free, but as soon as word spread about that, the queues became apparent there too. The food court was also understaffed, and the carnival area should have been free too, as they were essentially the only attractions without a horrendous line, but you still had to pay to play them. Overall, I don't think that the entry fee was justifiable for the amount of rides that were in operation.
I went to Rainbows End and was such a heaven.Pops took me here.
I went last holidays and I wanna go this holidays. And I wanna go
to other adventure parks. What adventure will I like?
The place to be! Kids love it! I love it! Highly recommended.
Although the tickets are expensive, but the rides are all super exciting & fun. I went on a Wednesday morning & the crowd is manageable. The queueing time is 10 minutes average. I guess I was lucky to come when there is not so much crowd & get to experience most of the rides. My favourite is the "Invader" ride which resembles a huge UFO.
Mean the stratosphere is were it's at man shot your pants on that lol
Amazing atmosphere for kids and adults, once you are in you never feel like going out
Its always fun to visit rainbow s end and enjoy the rides. The price is also worth.
Lots of fun, plenty of parking, nice and clean. Food is pretty expensive though but would happily go again
Not neede lockers as they have a cubby to place ur small stuff in every ride
just a great place to go if youre looking for some fun1
Great fun for all the family, what ever age you are!
They let to many people into the park which creates lines where you may be standing for at least 30mins, the charge $18 on a public holiday just to walk around in the park? W go to use 5 rides for our trip which works out to be about $10.5 each for each ride. Went to buy wedges and sour cream and the were out of sour cream but wouldnt drop the price as it was just wedges. I baught a pie instead which was nice.
Bad the lines took forever I was standing at the stratifair for and 1hour
This place holds a lot of nostalgia for me so better than a 3 star. Been here at least 10 times since I was a kid but have noticed a solid price increase. It's no Dream World but it's an old favourite.
It a good out door place in summer .but not when it raining ...should have more games for in door and stay away from the soft toy machines ,it just takes ur money and never catch any thing.rather go to Albany mall events for soft toys.....
Overpriced and everyone is grumpy.
Reminds me of the rest of New Zealand.
Crap food.
Mexico has better parks.
Better than nothing tho. Hence the 2 stars.
Even though I didn't go on any rides I thoroughly enjoyed watching my husband and sister in law having a wonderful time and the staff were fantastic with my sister in law who was in a wheelchair but able to go on all the rides. Thank you for making it a fantastic day out. Oh and your gardens are awesome.
Great place to go with family and friends. Enjoyed my day out
You took 60 $ then you said we didn t claim the many but in money is gone
Staff were rude and under experienced most of the good rides were closed and the arcade games are faulty waste of money
