Was here for a 2 day wedding. Excellent in every aspect. Such a well run wedding with superb food. Could not fault. Love clean room for our 2 nights stay. And what can I say about the breakfast selection
Best I've ever had and I've had quite a few.

Really bad experience... I went there with a company Christmas party... Although we were on a schedule the security lady was extremely rude to me and my friends after we went out for a smoke. She didn't want to let us in at the party (not even to take our stuff). She called the manager (as well, inappropriate) and the guy refused to check the invitation list. In the end, our organizer had to step in just to demonstrate that we were there. Really bad experience... Unprofessional staff. Went to more than 10 countries in Europe, first time it ever happened to me. Rude people. Do not recommend.

Hotel was nice, but room was smaller and hard to get to within hotel. I'd look for more at this price.

Galway's hidden gem of a hotel, for quality friendly service, quality delicious food and plenty available and selection at the breakfast buffet, spacious rooms , plenty of parking underground at a fair price.
I was at the Mayor's Ball in the main hall.
The night was well organized ,well timed with each act during dinner service.
Absolute professionals, the ball was one of the best nights I have had in many years.
Fundraising for deserving societies.
And to top it all the Stunning a Galway band received a well deserved award.
Hats off to the organisers / production company.

Liked the Galmont. Nice and relaxing. Clean and well maintained. Bed was great! Best nights sleep in a long time. Pool is nice also. Breakfast good too. Would stay again, no problem.

This Hotel is ideally located for any visitor to Galway. Lovely spacious clean rooms, great breakfast and some perfect relaxation areas. We enjoyed our annual mini family break with our 3 adult children. I recommend you book a sea view room as it's a fine Vista the greet your morning.

Luxury stay walking distance to Eyre Square in Galway City. The staff are very friendly, all covid measures are visible and make you feel safe. The spa is worth a visit too. They have many treatments and great to relax in the Thermal Suite after which you need to book in advance

View was nice, but the room (superior king) was not that big enough as it seemed in the pictures. Also, the towels in the washroom had some kind of a smell.

Hotel is in a great location, 5 mins and you're at Eyre Square.

Good massage but very complicated check in process. Didn't like having to roam around in a robe to get to another floor for my service.

Bit of a walk to our room, but I can use the exercise!

Room was really cold on arrival..went down to the bar for dinner we had to wait for over an hour to get dinner as we were told our order was lost! Offered two free drinks...The meal itself was delicious...home made burger and fries..where we were sitting in the bar lounge was really cold...behind us was a fire escape door which was drafty everyone around us moved over to the far side of the lounge, unfortunately for us all the chairs were taken up...we would have enjoyed a couple of more drinks as it was our wedding anniversary but we were freezing and decided to return to our room. Our room again was freezing had left our room key in the slot beside the door to ensure the power was on in our bedroom. had the AC turned up to 37c but it did not work...spent the next hour trying to get the AC to work correctly just went to bed with our coats
on so tried...the next morning complained to reception they moved us to another room which had a working AC. We had breakfast each morning which was lovely and a great choice of foods available...did the full spa treatment which was the highlight of our stay... the staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful..just unfortunate that the room we booked had a AC not working and the outside temperature is below freezing....

Many evenings spent here in the past, but this time I'm organising a conference here so ask me when it's done. May be an extra star in it

I don't know how the rooms as we organised a conference there. Food is good, people are nice .

Brilliant hotel in a brilliant location and great staff. Nothing bad to say.

As our bedroom wasn t ready until after 5pm, our Christmas one night break didn t get off the the best start. It was only made worse when we arrived to the room which was sub zero temperature.... probably hadn t been used for a while. To be fair, they did change the room when I highlighted the issue. The following morning the Q for breakfast was about 40 minutes ....I couldn t believe the amount of free tables In the restaurant when we eventually made it to the top of the Q. The hotel quite simply didn t have enough staff to clear quick enough. All in, the staff were overworked and very polite while the hotel were evidently trying to save money at every chance. A real shame as a great hotel of old.

Room was fabulous loved everything about it but the breakfast was a let down food was cold and rubbery obviously cooked ages before we got it but apart from that it's a lovely hotel
