We booked a superior king room on the Booking website, for one night. We chose this place because it was the only one that was available "cheap" with supposedly breakfast included, I really do not know if we get confused but we are sure that the room we had booked included breakfast, then I started researching again on booking and The subject of breakfast is certainly random, constantly changing and tending to confusion. I caused disappointment but I gave a vote of confidence to the room, when we arrived the views were oriented to a warehouse roof, I mean that fantastic, we started well. I started to get cold in the afternoon, and the heating did not work, it was completely off or not working, instead I had a ridiculous little oil heater that could barely heat the room, that is not typical of a 4 star hotel, I spent 204 for a night in which I sincerely thought it was expensive for what I was offered. The plus point, the bed was very comfortable and the cleanliness excellent but everything else did not make me feel satisfied enough.

We were staying in the apartments and they are just great! Two floors, equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and a toilet, living room and two bedrooms. An exquisite decoration, new, clean and well taken care of! And the deal with the manager was unbeatable! Highly recommended

The hotel was very modern and clean. Had a great breakfast with beautiful views of the river and only a short walk to the square and shop street. Only downside is that you have to pay for parking.

Beautiful location. Hotel was spotless. Rooms very well thought out and modern design. Massive massive super king sized bed with soft pillows. Air conditioning. Turn down service was a nice surprise. Location excellent only a few minutes walk from Eyre square and Latin quarter. Hotel staff very knowledgable regarding locale. Well received information! Breakfast delicious and very good selection. Only issue was unsure of breakfast times as was not stated on arrival or in the guestbook. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Cannot wait to return!

Room too hot. The usual down pillows that flattened didn't help you sleep.
I had dinner brought to my room. My tray remained in the corridor after being consumed for 2 days.
They also sounded the fire alarm three times in the middle of the night. Ears your ears. It was not clear what to do. A nightmare.

The 2 stars only for good food.

Rooms were nice, to use the elevator you'd have to insert your room card in the elevator (got a little confused over that) rooms are neat it's being renovated at the moment and there are 2 restaurants on the lobby floor. I liked it, still felt premium even after the renovations

The hotel is nice and a great location. The room was clean, modern and a good size. I am deducting some stars because the kettle in the room was broken and the service in the restaurant was awful. We must have been waiting for at least 30 min for orders to be taken. One starter never arrived so we had to wait some more for that. I ordered the mussels and they were pretty poor, a lot weren't open and most were undercooked. They then got the bill wrong so we had to wait some more for that. Nice hotel, just don't use the restaurant.

Huge room, huge bed, great gym and spa facilities and the breakfast is great! Very quiet at night and comfy bed. I would like to see the bathroom a bit more modern, with a walk in shower however the towels were so soft and loved their initials.

I have stayed at the Galmont (formerly the Radisson Blu) three times in the past four years, and it it is consistently clean, comfortable and has a friendly staff. The food is good (not great) and the bar is a bit slow in service, but it s a great business hotel. The breakfast buffet is huge and quite good, but the catered food we had for our meeting dinner event was just okay. The terrace is a lovely place to enjoy the sea air and sunset over a Guinness.

A nice room more than friendly and helpful staff but a very peculiar design of hotel. We had to take a very long and circuitous route from the lobby to our room. It is pretty central and the city centre is a handy 6-10 min walk away.

Superb evening at the Galmont. Thank you Karen for your wonderful hospitality. Everyone we chatted to, including Danny from the Coronas, was having a blast. See you again on Wednesday evening

Excellent All Round! We were lucky enough to get a balcony room on 5th floor!! So spacious!! The massive bed was so comfy. What a view outside. Already knew of its Super location as we stayed here before and will again. Loved the swim facilities, Esp the hot tub.

Was disappointed with the service, it was a bit hit and miss. The concierge that checked us in, didn't tell us anything about the hotel except what floor our room was on and where the restaurant was for breakfast.

Our first room was dirty and disappointing, when we returned to the check in desk a very nice man (Dermot I think) was helpful and got our room switched after notifying the manager, and even walked us to our room offering to take our bags and to ensure we were happy. The second room was better.

Breakfast was a bit slow, they seemed short of staff, and we tried different times both days. I was sitting next to a man who was telling his associate that he had waited 25 minutes for coffee the previous morning and in the end went to his room to make his own.

There was no real information in the room pack regarding the spa that is supposed to be complimentary in the stay. This was the main reason I paid the extra to stay at the radisson.
After asking concierge information about the spa all they told us was there are lockers and changing rooms in the spa, and there's towels provided. When we turned up at the spa there were two staff manning the desk, we had to ask for assistance after dawdling a minute. We were then informed we needed to wear swimming caps (which was mentioned in the info pack) if we wanted to use the pool. This isn't mentioned on any of the sites when booking the hotel. We were then informed that the swimming hats were to be purchased if you hadn't provided your own and they were 3 each. We were told if we didn't purchase these we could only use the hot tubs and sauna. We had left our belongings in our room since we were heading down to use the pool and I didn't fancy a 15 minute walk to collect 6 so we used the hot tub and left. I was immensely disappointed as we were intending to book in for massages etc since it was our 10 year anniversary.

Hotel is recently rebranded and they seem to be going through transitional pains. Parking was a little bit of a mess, the bar seemed disorganized and one elevator was out of order for a few days. But the staff were nice, common areas were great and the room was awesome. The location is also good, a 10 min walk from the square.
I'd stay here again in a second.

We had the pleasure of playing at Gillian and Ray's wedding here last Friday night and we couldn't recommend it enough for anyone thinking of getting married there. Everything ran bang on time and the staff were amazing to deal with!

After paying nearly 390 for 1 nights stay and being told we would have sea view, only to be told on arrival sea view was no longer available was disappointing. Also asked for champagne to be in the room when booking but was told due to Covid it wasn t Possible.. Then to see a Blogger showing his room with the Sea view and alcohol in his room but this wasn t possible for me? Disappointing.

Solid option in Galway. A couple dings- Tuesday night the bar was insanely loud very late, only that one night. Even more annoying is that without A/C I had to keep the window open further inviting the noise in. The bar itself was not busy when we visited and all the barstools were cleared out which was weird. I guess they were doing this event

Spa was great, first time trying a thermal room. It's like a sauna with different themes, beach, Turkish bathhouse, rock sauna, aromatherapy.

The one big ding is the gross blood booger on the wall in the bathroom that greated us when we got in our room. We thought the housekeeping team would catch it on the daily room clean but they didn't. It in a very obvious place on a stark whit wall. How they keep missing this I'll never know. My guess is it's still there.

Lovely hotel close to the square and railway station.both about 6 minutes walk from the hotel. Leave the car at home and take the train. Easy walk to the many bars and restaurants that Galway has to offer. Staff at this hotel very helpful and great service.

My husband, our 2 year old son and I visited the Galmont today for Sunday brunch and found it to be really excellent. The manager and staff were so helpful and professional. The food was really fresh and tasty and there was the perfect selection of starters, mains and desserts with a glass of prosseco to start. The restaurant was so relaxing with gorgeous views of Lough Atalia. There was a kids playroom just off the dining room with plenty to keep the little ones occupied and we weren't charged for our sons food which was a lovely touch. Will definitely visit again!

Absolutely terrific hotel! Friendly staff; a quiet room; a soft bed for a great night sleep after a day of touring Galway. The hotel is very close to shopping and pubs. But Cooper's pub in the hotel also pours a great Guinness! You can't go wrong stating here. Coming from overseas, I was very happy with my stay.
