The Radisson is a nice place to stay in downtown Kalamazoo
Stayed at the Radisson following my wedding. I needed an early check in time, but my room was not ready. Staff upgraded my room and allowed me to check in early. Very courteous. Would highly recommend anyone stay here.
Priced way to high for what you get. But the staff handled the situation and disappointment well and got in contact to rectify any problems we had.
First time there since the renovation. Looks pretty great!
Centrally located. Comfortable hotel with shops inside. Nice amenities!
We are looking forward to our next trip. Everyone is so accommodating, the shuttle was very convenient and the restaurants in the building are fantastic. Convenient location to the theater, breweries and ball field.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel and conference rooms are very modern and upscale.
Kalamazoo is a very sleepy town but this hotel does not skimp on providing great service. The rooms were nice spacious and clean and the staff was very accommodating. If I come to Kalamazoo again I will definitely stay at this location.
Room was nice. Guest services was great. Breakfast resturant was alright but way overpriced. Ended up sharing a meal to cut costs.
Wonderful place....good rates....really nice people
Beautiful park neat location, did not stay in a room, but attended an event, the building and conference rooms were beautiful.
Attended North Pines church here, great service, great venue!
Would have easily given it 5 stars, except the pool/hottub/fitness was all closed at 9pm on Sunday night. Otherwise, our room was very spacious and clean (other than the hair in the jacuzzi tub, but we weren't likely to use that anyway). Staff was very friendly and beyond helpful. My guess is it wasn't overly busy the Sunday night we were there because the Hotel Shuttle essentially taxi'd us around Kalamazoo to get beer and food. Burdick's restuarant (pub) was great food as well. Same with the Burdick's breakfast place - top notch food and service. Highly recommend this facility if you must be in Kalamazoo. (It might be the only 'nice' hotel there, from my experiences)
The lobby and amenities are really nice. Great selection of restaurants within the hotel. Rooms are dated and bathrooms are really small. WiFi quality is poor. Pricing doesn't match the quality.
I went there on NYE, went and seen the magic show and it was very entertaining.
Review based on ballroom - great service. Excellent setup. Audio/visual is great. Food was sub par.
Very nice. Everyone was very friendly. Nice workout facility with pool. Rooms are a little dated, but we'll maintained. Many restaurants within walking distance.
I attended a day long conference st the Radisson recently and was frustrated by the difficulty in finding where I was going, getting a cup of coffee and the comfort of the room we sat in. It could have been better but was not miserable.
The staff are really helpful and the rooms are really clean.
Incredible lobby with nice little stores that sell local collegiate wear, coffee, etc. Had a great meal at Old Burdock's located inside the hotel. Friendly staff and great service.
Contemporary and in the heart of the city. Great shopping nearby.
The location was so beautiful and everyone there was so frendly!
The hotel was overall a very good experience, I was with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere the rooms were very clean and the service was fantastic. The restaurant in the hotel had excellent food. Only thing was there convenient store was being remodeled so there was no late night snacking from there, a great stay at the Radisson plaza hotel!
The Radisson Hotel is a great staple downtown and Burdicks has wonderful food!
Nice place to stay. Centre of Kalamazoo. Always full no matter which season you are in.
Very pleasant employees, who were always easily available to assist with any needs. Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent restaurants with extremely pleasant staff. They were overrun, but kept up with the demand expertly. I enjoyed my stay emmensly and look forward to returning.
I DO NOT recommend staying at the Radisson in Kalamazoo. I had a slip n fall and was treated very rudely by the manager of the hotel. He implied it was my fault I slipped. Even worse after making an incident report and going to the ER nobody from the hotel bothered to call and check on me or see how I was doing. STILL OFF WORK BTW! This manager s behavior and unprofessionalism says a lot about the hotel (they hired him). We will never return. I hope you consider my story before giving this place your business.
Great location downtown Kalamazoo. Room was OK. Great food/drinks at Zazios.
Staff was very friendly. We were able to get an early check-in, 1 o'clock. Everything was clean and delightful.
Visited for Dokidokon 2018. Easily one of the nicest Radissons I have ever been to, much nicer than the Radisson in downtown Cleveland which I recently stayed overnight at. The facility has comfortable conference rooms and the staff has been very friendly. Water has been stocked consistently and bathrooms have been nice and clean. Location is great in the heart of Kzoo. Already imagining returning for future events!
The breakfast buffet was a little pricy for the amount of selection available.
Burdicks restaurant was very good. There are lots of TVs showing the NBA basketball games. the food was also quite good fairly standard bar food. I think it is a little overpriced
Beautiful hotel with great staff. The bar has great food as well.
This is by far the best place to stay in Kalamazoo! Highly recommend!
They've got "The Main Dish", a buffet resteraunt that is awesome! Also Starbucks is there to
Great location. Great staff. The room was very nice and surpisingly a 5 star hotel.
Dinner at Burdicks is good. Service is pretty standard, but they have a lot of local brews on tap.
It's a greater hotel in the kalamazoo. They have a great maintenance and customer service.
Didn t stay here, but did have a bad experience using their parking lot. The attendant was very attending. Their machines are not user friendly and were not working right. The attendant just looked at us and smiled. Refused to help.
And it s oober expensive. 29.00 and was there for an event at the Raddison. There is a lot of free parking around.
Do not use their ramp, you will sit there for a while and no one will help you complete the transaction.
It was great, nice and clean rooms. I liked the decor and television, the bathroom was nice as well. The only thing is there is no continental breakfast but, that's alright.
I've had better customer service at a 2 star hotel. I was told we were getting priority check in and that they would call to let me know it was ready and they never called. They didnt even apologize. I had to call in order to know if the room was ready. The valet service personnel was extremely disrespectful while I was parking my car in the parking garage (he even proceeded to get out of the car to start an altercation). The bed sheets had blood stains on them. The shower head in the bathroom looked like it was recently replaced and there was barely any water coming out of it. Our shower also leaked water extensively to the point where the bathroom floor was almost flooded. House keeping also did not clean the room during our 2 night stay. Not worth the amount of money to stay here for a "4 star" hotel. You're better off staying at a Holiday Inn Express or Comfort Inn.
The wait staff, food, and environment at the banquet hall are all fantastic!
Everything was nice the staff was very courteous and professional 0
Best hotel in town by far. If you're visiting Kalamazoo this is the place to stay.
Nice rooms and service, although elevators would open on random floors that were not selected.
Was very nice, but parking was a little bad for larger vehicles
My stay was amazing and it was probably one of the comfortable beds I've slept on. The gym was actually one of the better hotel gyms have been to with a large section of free weights and a bar for bench press and deadlifts.
The hotel building is beautiful with enough coffee shops, restaurants, and stores to make it seem more like a small mall than a hotel. The rooms are superbly clean, and the staff are courteous. I didn't get a chance to explore the area as I was there on an interview, but it seemed close to the downtown area and the airport (for which they provide a shuttle).
Service was amazing, hotel was comfortable and lots to do nearby. Highly recommended
It is one of the cooler places in downtown and the restaurants in it are really good.
Decent hotel. Room was clean and had everything I neesed. Service was good. They have no parking but there are a handful of public lots around the hotel and they provide valet parking. Hotel also has a breakfast buffet which is a bit pricey (~$16) but they had all of the breakfast staples and had a cook that could make a pretty good Greek omlette. Best part is that it is centrally located in downtown Kalamazoo with bars and restaurants branching out in walking distance from the hotel.
Very nice and all personal was extremely friendly and courteous
Radisson is the best hotel in town, the bars an restaurants located inside are up to their standard and are always busy with the hip crowd
Great rooms. Great conference rooms. Good restaurants. Well run by the staff.
Friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Parking is very accessible.
Excellent everything, except nightly prices, no hotel room is worth the price they charge, plenty other hotels with better parking and less congestion. And just as close to attractions. Fairfield/town place suites/ baymont/ all are fine places and are cheaper and just as accomodating
It was nice. I was mostly just looking around because I just moved to Michigan, but I'd like to go sometime
They are rude and I know it was because I am a proud black woman
