Great place free hot buffet breakfast. Little further from centre worth the drive

I loved our stay here. Booked it from Expedia and the girls up front were super welcoming, so thumbs up on that. Our room was awesome and clean & the parking lot is huge... I certainly recommend this location

Hotel room was not clean. There was hair in the shower stall from the previous guest. Out of morbid curiosity, I didn't clean it myself or report it to management, but instead left it there to see if they'd clean it the next morning.

Over my 3 night stay, they never cleaned it! So at least 4 days in a row without the room being properly cleaned. They managed to make the bed for me, but it's unclear how much else was cleaned.

Gross.

Great facilities, the staff is very polite and willing to help. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was not superb, but was reasonably goood. I had a great time there.

Was very clean and quiet other than an occasional weird mechanical rubbing sound that I couldn't quite pinpoint. Easy to get to and lots of parking.

Ok. If you want something that s not at the hotel be prepared for a 15 minute drive

Best holiday party ever!! Staff are courteous, room 140 (1 bed) is gigantic with a living room and smells new. Couldn't ask for more. Especially the smell. Not sure why it smells so damned good but I love it.

I staid in this hotel twice and everything is perfect from the room's to the staff. Room's are spotless. Anyone that leaves a bad review must be really high maintenance and should be staying in a $2,000 room per night hotel.

A friend and I stayed here a few weeks ago. The room was very spacious, modern, nice and clean. The king size bed was very comfy. All in all, the amenities at this hotel were very nice; this is probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Edmonton before. The only downside was needing a ticket for breakfast, but aside from that, I really can't complain.

Booked over Expedia so we were unaware the hotel accepted credit card only, which isn t a problem on its own. My issue came when the hotel staff acted condescending towards us because of that. They did let us pay debit which apparently they usually don t do (which was very kind) but Throughout our stay the staff continued to treat us with slight apathy. Aside from that the rooms were nice and clean, the pool and hot tub however was not the cleanest. Hair and various floaties were very visible and unsettling. Upon checkout we witnessed the hotel checking out another older couple as well, treating them very very nicely. Whereas me and my boyfriend hardly got a smile. While I m not sure if our lack of enthusiastic customer service was due to us paying debit or our young age, either way it was not a very pleasant experience for us personally.

Management and staff are very helpful and accomodating. We're one of Fort Mcmurray evacuees and the management tried the best they can to accomodate us in time when we are very desperate for a place to stay with my family. A discounted rate was also given to us. Hats off Radisson management and staff. Thank you and May God bless you all.

It was nice. Hotel was clean. Beds were like marshmallows. Had a great sleep. Restaurant was pretty decent prices were reasonable. Pool made the kids happy. No slide but worked for playing. Only thing didn't like was I think we were on a smoking floor cause it smelled horribly. And the hotel is kinda in a weird area. But other than that for the price I would stay again.

Stay was okay... Do not book with a third party!!!! ... I have never had any issues with any other Radisson before, and we tend to choose Radisson. This place had our reservations wrong, didn't want to change them even though I showed them the correct reservation from my email. Didn't want to take a cash deposit, hassled my husband who arrived later about getting a key even though I spoke with 3 different people to say that he would be coming later in the evening, and had many other front desk issues. Eventually had to call the manager to get things straightened out. She was great to the guy behind the desk if you are not sure how things work you probably shouldn't be there. "Sorry" is not the best answer for every question!!!

I recently stayed at this establishment, and let me tell you my stay was far from pleasant. Beginning with the start of my stay, the staff who were working when I checked in seemed far from pleased to be doing their jobs. I don't expect exceptional earth shattering service, however a simple smile would be nice instead of glaring at patrons who are just trying to check into a room. This should have been my first warning to leave the hotel and find a better one. Alas, I proceeded to checked into my room and was meet with confusion when opening the door. This was not the room I had arranged to stay in online. When I stay in hotels I do not require them to directly resemble the photographs presented online, but the room I stayed in looked a long shot from what I had anticipated. The overall environment was dark and gloomy. The lack of lighting in the rooms and hallways sets a downcast on the overall stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in and the blankets were so scratchy, and unbearable to the point I had to throw them off of the bed. The carpets were stained, and the bathroom was subpar. I do not expect perfection from a 3 star hotel, however for the price that I am paying I at least expect proper lighting semi-comfortable beds, and blankets; the employees don"t even have to be nice. I recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.

We were using one of the conference rooms for a work event. They were very flexible with arranging the space into a format that worked better for us. All the staff were courteous and helped with all requests. Only reason I took one star off is because the room we were in was cold the whole time.

There was a lot of confusion upon check in. We had credit card authorization forms sent in prior to check in and they could not locate them when we arrived. We had to get them resent which was a hassle for the other party. We were there for a conference which didn't end until Sunday afternoon. I had family with me that was not attending the conference and we were denied a late checkout so they had to wait downstairs. Front desk after midnight on Friday was helpful and pleasant.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We first entered our non-smoking room to find that there were cigarette burns all over the carpet and the room had a smoke stench. We asked to switch rooms and they kindly did so long as the maid checked first to see if we were lying. Breakfast was simple and nice. My husband and I booked this hotel because it had a pool, only to find out it had failed inspection and closed down. When it finally did open the hot tub was taped off and they kept giving us keys that couldn't unlock the door. We eventually gave up and didn't get to use it at all. Our room had a nice smell now but I found a big wod of a woman's hair stuck to the bathroom door, the mini mirror was broken and my house coat was broken. At the front desk the supervisor and the manager refused to discount for the problems and blamed me for not reporting them sooner. The manager was too lazy to even show their face with that decision. Lastly I should mention they are hiding Buddha's in the walls, which to me is unprofessional and considered hiding evil spirits within the building in my religion.
All in all, my husband and I will never be returning and I will recommend to everyone never to stay at Radisson hotels. I will be contacting the Radisson headquarters.

Poor food service during a convention. The grand ballroom was not a comfortable learning environment.

I recently had my wedding reception here. The person in charge of coordinating my event was inept and there were mistakes made. If it wasn't for the amazing banquet team we would have been short an entire table and missing spots at other ones. The food was delicious and the banquet staff were friendly and helpful.

I went for an event, they provided water and the bathroom was clean, the restaurant has acceptable food.

Not the closest to West Ed and nothing really around it but Uber helps that. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Lots of pillows a basic hotel pretty much. Room service and house keeping were very nice. Breakfast buffet had some raw sausages but fixed it right away.

Excellent service by the beautiful hostess who ensured my lunch experience was delightful.

The hotel itself looks new, but the furnishings are definitely older and out dated. The TV in a friends room didnt work, and everything looked worn and stained. The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was amazing, however.

Very good service and event but prices where too high for food and drinks

I was staying at the hotel for my 4 year old daughters birthday and had asked them to maybe have a slice of cake in the room for when she arrives - they exceeded all expectations. They had balloons ready for her and a custom made card when we went to the front desk to check in, and then brought out a homemade cake with her name on it and sang to her in the lobby. They made a little girls birthday extra special, and completely made her day. I have shared this experience with everyone I can because this kind of service is so rare. The day manager who organized it, the chef for making the cake, and all the staff for taking time out to sing to her - 10/10 !!!

The staff was very welcoming at the front desk and gave very helpful directions to the second bank of elevators to find our room. The room was clean and super comfy beds! The decor of the hotel right down to the hallways were very beautiful. I don t think you can get much better. :)

Second time going to this hotel. Great service and very clean room and lobby. Mattresses were a little too soft for our taste during this most recent stay, which affected the quality of our sleep, but otherwise, overall great and very quiet hotel. Would highly recommend.

Room was nice but the AC was super noisy and annoying all night. I complained about it while checking out, hope they fix it

Decent hotel... well located for my business visits to Edmonton

Beds awful. Very lumpy. Pillows worse. Pool closed even though we asked at booking. Rugs in hallways loose and have ripples..very worn. Heater very noisy and sound like a fog horn from the water lines through the night. Check location because there is nothing close. Breakfast good and pub is also good. We will not return!

The location is surprising for a four star hotel, but the area is quiet and safe. VERY! The staff is friendly, competent, and eager to serve. Excellent people!

Only good thing about our experience was the bed. Went to this hotel because online it showed that there was a pool and a hot tub. When we checked in we were not informed that the hot tub was out of service even though we inquired about More

Went for drinks to the Cranberry Lounge. It had a comfortable atmosphere and I'd go again. The food smelled delicious and the service was excellent.

I stay in lots of hotels because my kids play hockey. This hotel in general is to expensive for hockey parents. I requested a room with a kitchenette. Only to find there is no stove no dishes no soap to wash any anything and no garbage can in the main part of the room had to take the one from the bathroom. I had just stayed in the Ramada last weekend for 3 nights and requested the kitchenette and it had everything to feed my kids.

This hotel was classy and upscale. So for one star you get is for kindness

The other is for allowing children to play their mini sticks.

Delicious breakfast service, has steam room, pool, small gym. In the main tower very squeaky elevator, no smoking room, room service workers sometimes make lots of noise in the hallway

I stayed here back in March due to having to come to Edmonton for training purposes. I was really pleased with the overall atmosphere and the ladies who checked us in and everything. But once I got home I had realized I forgot one of my items behind, so I called and spoke with a lady who said they would set it in the lost and found until I got the chance to come down and get it. I had spoke with someone last week who confirmed it was still there and that I could get it this weekend. So I went out of my way to go get it, it has been over 2 months, things happen I don't remember the exact color or style of the product I lost and originally I was told I didn't need to know. All I needed was my room number which I had given to them exactly the way the one guy had told me too. But upon arrival I was told I was lying about it and was trying to take someone else's property and all the information I provided wasn't correct. The lady who I was dealing with was extremely rude and made me very upset. She didn't try and help at all she just told me I was lying and then walked away and told me to go sit and wait. I am not impressed with this hotel and will NEVER stay here again.

I did my wedding party there one month ago.. the main table crushed in front of everyone.. they didn't do what I asked for.. the worst part was after the wedding.. They talked to me with no morals.. They charged me extra money for no reason.. I went to talk to them and they said: "We gave you a great deal and this is NOT A CHARITY.. the staff said that you have 9 adults extra so we will charge you for that" which is a lie because I didn't have any extra people.
That hurts my feeling because THEY called me to take the deal and I gave them all the money they asked for..
Maybe because I am a refugee they did that to me.. what a DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!

I am giving a five star because I love this place. Stay here every time I have to stay over night. I DO HAVE A MAJOR COMPLAINT!!!! They have Shaw TV and I thought Shaw had a better guide than they do have. You have limited channels and you can not watch tv and scroll the guide at the same time. Waste a lot of time trying to find something and you have to leave the channel you are watching. With all the technology out there you would think that Shaw and the Radisson Hotels would work together to make our experience better. I stayed in a small motel last night that is not connected with any big name company. They had great TV. Wow what is wrong with big corporate companies double the price and lousy TV chooses. So that is the only complaint.
Restaurant downstairs is amazing.

Check in/out was quick and painless plus they gave two complimentary drinks which was a great gesture! Hotel was very modern, clean and was an excellent stay! Would recommend staying here again.

Most desk staff is ok.... Manger on the other hand has no customer service skills. Poor poor poor management. For a Radisson this one is well below the standards. You d better off a the Best Western.

Had to write a review just for the restaurant and customer service at this hotel. Service is great, portions are great, prices are reasonable, and they make some of the best butter chicken I've ever had. Breakfast is also 100x better than the average hotel breakfast. I look forward to the food anytime I'm here.

Four stars because while the rooms themselves are clean, they are outdated with old often rundown furniture and sometimes weird smells. Could definitely use an upgrade.

POTENTIAL FOR IDENTITY THEFT - FRAUD

The front staff wouldn't let us check in without leaving a photocopy of both our drivers license and credit card. We protested but it was a no negotiating. We were in a hurry - there for a wedding so didn't have time to move to a different hotel. When we checked out the next day, I had to argue with the clerk to get the photo copies back. Although I assume they kept extra copies in the back office.

Very disappointing for a large hotel chain like the Radisson.

Not sure if this is just the Radisson in Edmonton on 76Ave or all Radisson Hotels.

RESPONSE:
Well we weren't a company. All the rooms were in one name. How would you ever need or receive a copy of a drivers license from a company???? No request for third party authorization was made. There is NO REASON a hotel needs to keep a photocopy of someone's personal information when the person is standing right in front of them -- unless they have ulterior motives. Your response makes no sense and I stand by my post.

Been here a couple of times one of the best hotels around Edmonton I would recommend if you're planning to visit or have a conference in Edmonton
