Krave made our wedding the most amazing day of our life. Pamala was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped us in so many aspects of the wedding. The moment we sat down with her in their cafe, we KNEW we needed to work with her and Krave. She did everything she could to explain everything to us and make the wedding planning process as painless as possible. We were able to modify our package to best suit our needs and budget and she was always willing to answer our many questions throughout the year of planning.

She even helped us with decorating ideas!

Everyone RAVED about the food. They are still talking about it!

The best part was that they all did everything they could to keep us happy throughout the day itself. They had a plate of appetizers ready for us when we were done with photos and even got us as many bacon wrapped scallops as we could eat(omg to die for)!

They made sure we ate a good dinner and alway had a drink! Everyone warned us that the bride and groom never gets to eat and drink at their own wedding, but that was not at all true for us, thanks to Krave!

I take my family to this place from time to time! This is my favorite restaurant to eat. I visit this place many times. The cooking is very good, the team is professional and the rates are fair. I enjoy meeting in this place to have a good lunch.

Krave is a local upscale restaurant. I went for a work lunch and while the space was small they accommodated our 20 people. (I'm sure with a reaervation.) They handled our large party flawlessly and except for a slight delay in a couple of dishes served all 20 at the same time with perfectly prepared meals - by no means a small feat. The food was excellent and I highly recommend the creme brulee for dessert.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Sussex County! It's so nice to be able to get such a lush meal in Newton. I really love the food and the staff is very friendly

This place simply knows how to please their customers. Constantly with a friendly demeanor. The food is fairly priced, constantly flavorful and clean.

My husband and I had our wedding last week at The Conservatory at Sussex County Fairgrounds catered by Krave, and they are AMAZING. Kate and her team did so much more than just the catering for the wedding (which was delicious, our guests absolutely loved the food!) it felt more like she was our wedding planner through every step of the process. We were actually supposed to have our wedding back in March but had to postpone due to COVID-19, and Kate was so helpful as we figured out a new date and as her team adjusted things on their end, too. At the end of the night my husband and I were saying that the night could not have gone better. If you're looking for a caterer (especially at The Conservatory), Krave will not disappoint! Thank you so much to Kate and the rest of the team for giving us the perfect wedding day!!!

Clean artsy/modern restaurant with a relaxing ambiance.
The Barista (Matt) was exceptional and attentive as were the waitstaff. I can't say enough how thankful i am to come across such friendly and professional servers on a night out !

My banana dessert and seasonal chocolate coconut latte were amazing !
I was even highly impressed with their fruit infused water while i waited briefly.

Overall a very classy,peaceful place to eat.
I highly recommend and i will be back !

Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up to our expectations. The food, while freshly made, was underwhelming with peculiar tastes and some very strange tastes and textures. The staff seemed overwhelmed at times and the kitchen was slow. The meatballs were so strange in taste they had to be sent back.

We hired Kraves to cater our wedding and it was a disaster, not the wedding, but Kraves service. They would go months, literally, without responding to our emails, they would give us a time frame as to when to expect updates, and then I would have to call them way after they missed the deadlines to find out what was going on. My wife and decided to stick it out with them because at the restaurant we had very good food and service, the price was high, but it was very good, and several years earlier my parents had used them and they were excellent. Two days before the wedding I get a call from my parents, as we held the wedding in their converted barn, that the place looks terrible and I have to call Kate to fix it. I was disgruntled and getting married in two days, and she tells me to watch my tone....not good. The day of the wedding it was cloudy, but the wedding was to be held outdoors, Kate does not show to the event and instead calls her staff and tells them that the wedding will happen inside, no consultation with me. The staff ignored me, the person paying, and would only answer to my father who told them, that the wedding would happen outside. No rain and wedding was outside. I told Kate where tables were to be placed, she insisted that they should be at other points outside in the yard (ceremony was outside, reception was inside) and I said no as the party was small, she had her staff put tables explicitly where I told her not to put tables, and people who sat there missed key points of the party. The staff never informed anyone that food was ready, leaving lots of guests without eating (this was done buffet style) and when one of my guests approached, granted he was very drunk and a little rude, they responded to him "that's your problem." The main course was not good, the only piece people liked was the potatoes. I paid to have the staff an extra hour, but they left exactly one hour before they were supposed to, they left so quickly they forgot to provide me the final bill. I paid to leave the tables in place and have her staff pick them up the next day, they started breaking them down, and would only stop when my father insisted. The next day they sent one woman, who only broke down half of the tables and chairs leaving the rental crew to break down and find the rest. The staff cleaned none of the dishes, they left everything they used dirty, which my parents were informed by the rental company Kraves was responsible for handling all cleaning of all dishes. What garbage they did take out was left in open bags on my parents front steps, keep in mind we are in bear country. When I spoke to Kate's husband Rich about my complaints he told me that we were difficult to work with, had a bad attitude, and then he told me a blatant lie. I mentioned how the staff left early and he said that wasn't true because he stopped by at 11:40 pm and they were still working diligently. The bus picked my guests up from my house at 11:30, the house was empty at 11:40. Then he threatened me with a lawyer, and interest charges. In the contract there is nothing that allows for them to charge interest.

I apologize for the length, but I want people to be aware of how unprofessional and discourteous these people are. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY CATERING SERVICES!

Absolutely AMAZING food! We had dear friends over for first time and our catered meal was amazing!!! I highly recommend sweet potato empanadas and Orange roughy!!! Our meal made the evening so much more special!!!You can not go wrong with this menu!!

I had empanadas as an appetizer, they were good, then I order the veggie burger as main course and it was not edible..I love veggie burgers but this one was definitely not great, it says it has beets and chickpeas, and a "signature salad" what I got is a mushy beets puree, with a sprinkle of goat cheese, no chickpeas to be found in the mush and the salad was undercooked pasta with raw onions. Definitely disappointed as it was my first time dining here and certainly will be the last...maybe it was my mistake for ordering that and they have nicer dishes but definitely the veggie burger was a disaster...never again :(

Attended a bridal shower today. Lovely venue. Food was delicious. Highly recommend. They'll be catering the couple's wedding at a different venue.

had a salad.. chicked was a little raw but all the ingredients seemed high quality. Ambience is great and the crew is really polite and helpful. Had a quick bite the 1st time.. but ill definitely be back for more!!!

This is the best restaurant in the 07860 area, hands down. Not in the world, but food, service, decor, ambiance. All very good. BYOB 'Can't complain. Finish with sticky toffee pudding and a cappuccino.

You will thank yourself for partnering with Krave Caterers for an event. It is the best decision my husband and I made when planning our wedding. We had our first date at Krave's restaurant many years ago and have been treating ourselves to meals there since. From the first phone call more than a year prior to our wedding to the weeks following our wedding, the Krave team proved to be not only a caterer but an event coordinator, a logistics manager, a therapist, and a friend.

We worked with Kate and her husband Rich, Kerry, and Pamela for our event. Kate and Kerry specifically spent countless hours ahead of our event conference calling over every minute detail of the event. Details that are not catering related but that is what sets Krave apart from other vendors. They are true professionals who understand that the comprehensive success of your event means success for their business, and personal and professional reward.

Always consistently great food which is literally in my backyard. Steak is always cooked to perfection. And desserts are fabulous..love the key lime pie!

Great service, only ate here once but the dish I had left something to be desired, thus the four stars. The lobster ravioli was too salty and has corn in it, which was unecessary and as it was a little too distinct in flavor compared to the rest of the ingredients. I felt it took away from the otherwise delicious dish, but this is the only experience I have had with their food. I was with a group that ended up closing the place on a weeknight. The staff was accommodating and did not make us feel like we had to rush to leave.

All their food is so excellent. Very thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The waiting staff was very sweet and helpful. We got a bunch of apps and they were all declicious! Lamb meatballs were my least favorite actually. Salad was excellent! I forget which one I got. Scallops cooked to perfection. Really yummie polenta. My tea was excellent and served with an adorable bruschetta and a rock candy stick! They put a candle in the cream brulee for my birthday but didn't embarrass me by singing. Really lovely place.

Hidden gem with amazing food and interesting, ever-changing menu. BYOB and affordable for a great dinner out. Friendly and professional wait staff.

I have eaten there for lunch, dinner and brunch and each time have had a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and the service is great.

My daughter and her husband used Krave for their wedding this week. The food was delicious, the service was perfect, and Kate was phenomenal in every way. Everything went smoothly, and we were totally taken care of. Krave also catered the "rehearsal" dinner for us, and made up breakfast boxes for our guests who stayed over in the hotel. We can't thank Kate and her team enough!

What a fabulous establishment. The staff are superb, the food is always perfect , and the atmosphere is very comforting. We try to come here as much as possibly because the food and service are by far, the best in the area.

My 2 friends and I went on a Wednesday night. It was my first time here. Everything from the service to quality of the food, and even the pricing were fantastic. And I LOVE that it's BYOB. My friends and I shared everything we ordered so I got to taste quite a few items, and I'll tell you what I thought of each:

curry butternut squash soup- Original and amazing, albeit not very hot. Served luke warm, which I didn't love, but it tasted so good I didn't mind so much

gorgonzola fondue served w/ bread and apple pieces- Ridiculously amazing. The cheese sauce was even garnished with bacon crumbles and scallions. This app is to die for. HIGHLY recommend before it disappears!

Spinach and Cabbage salad- WOW. I know, it's just a garden salad, but let me tell you something it was so good I'm thinking of ordering one to go for lunch today..and I just ate it the day before yesterday!! AMAZING.

The filet mingon special- It was topped with a melty cheesy something that was out of this world, and artfully placed over the most amazing mashed potatoes I've ever eaten, and paired with fancy, perfectly cooked green beans. Heaven.

Moroccan Tilapia Burrito-This was the only dish that was lacking. I don't know if they forgot something, but it didn't come with the squash and there was no glaze like the menu described. It was basically just spicy rice, a few pieces of fish stuffed in a tortilla, and a side of a yummy little salad. But I already had salad, so I don't know. I wasn't thrilled with this. It definitely needed something-like a creamy sauce garnish or something. Plus they were stingy with the fish. I wound up taking it apart and picking through the rice just to find the fish b/c I didn't want to fill up on rice alone. But it certainly wasn't bad. It was definitely tasty. I just won't order that again.

Creme Brule- I know. It's hard to screw that up. BUT, it was not only fantastic but a sizable portion as well. I couldn't stop eating it.

Chocolate Silk- I won't describe it for you. I think it's better if you're surprised. This is a sinfully delicious dessert that I want to eat every day. I won't of course. But there you go. :)

Cappuccino- I know I'm starting to sound ridiculous, but honestly that was the most delicious cappuccino I've ever had in my life. I'll never drink DD or Starbucks again. Thanks a lot Krave. You've ruined me!! :)

All in all, it was an amazing dining experience, and I can not WAIT to bring my foodie sister here when she comes to visit in a couple weeks!!

This spot is superb and spacious, the meals was delicious and the rates were very economical. quickly, effective service and very affable waiters. Highly recommended.

Nice BYO restaurant, not crowded on week nights. Has some outdoor seating although the location isn't the greatest (next to a Quick Check on Newton-Sparta Road).

I always come by getting some food in here. I love the fast service and well prepared dishes. Keep it up.

I love the ambiance of this place, their soups are really good. I sampled the Jambalaya, veggie burger, lamb skewers, krave greens salad, and very all good. But I somehow didn't like the sesame tofu, i was forcing myself to finish it up. There's not wrong with the dish but it was somehow was not appetizing enough. Other than that, most of the dishes are really good.

The food was very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. This is a tasty and reasonable night out. Made an anniversary dinner very special.

We booked in advance, but a busload of our group arrived all at the same time. We were all warmly greeted and well-served. And the food was very good. Stop here for sure if you're in the neighborhood.

This was our first time eating here, and everything we ordered was amazing. The pulled pork and plantain empanadas were mind blowing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was so tender. We shared the raspberry tres leches. Our waitress, Liz, was super nice and helpful.
