Wow is just the word that comes out for this place. Excellent property very good service food spread for buffet breakfast was very good. Spread was so much that even if you take the smallest portion possible you won't be able to try dishes you like leave aside trying everything.

Same old traditional hotel. Good to be back with new bazaar set up.

This is the best place for spending with the beloved ones. Awesome location of the hotel.. Breakfast was so good.. so many varieties and Too many activities available. Everyone must try this place. Climate is so good at September and October.. they have artificial lawn in terrace where we can feel the full mist covered us...we enjoyed very well.. :-)

I have stayed at many hotels, the Grt is simply mind blowing. The staff is very friendly and helpful

About 200m from the subway station. 20 Rs. By subway from the airport. The inside of the hotel cannot be considered India. However, the bustle outside. Breakfast is Yakult. The pool is underground and there is a gym.
I thought it was for foreigners, but breakfast is mostly Indian. During dinner time, we had a music event in the atrium lobby.
I think that it is a good hotel in Indian business hotels.
The end of the year is the worst. Live at high volume until midnight over the year. I can't sleep at all.

Decent South Indian food but Punjabi food could be improved a little. Hospitable staff and wonderful location.

Indeed we had a luxury stay. Rooms were equipped well with all facility. Breakfast was awesome. We stayed for 3 days and everyday we had variety of food. Our room was cleaned daily by such a dear cleaner Syamla who kept our room so clean. Top class service all the way as you enter into the hotel until you reach the room. We came to chennai for a sudden business trip with my hubby gopi. It was unplanned with our client, we just asked for assistance from regional sales Mr David at the GRT Hoyel and he arranged it so well more than we could ask for. All the way were very well served while using the meeting room. We couldn't have got a better hotel that could have facilitate us better than this. Best we've ever stayed in Chennai! Thumbs up to the excellent service.
