Attended the Mad Monster party and it was a blast. Parking was convenient to the venue and all the staff was friendly. Highly recommended!

Went to a conference and was very impressed with the service and oranization of the event. They provided everything that was needed for the experience to be great. I highly recommend the use of their facility.

Might be just trying to make the comparison to the old building but the new casino just doesn't have the same feeling as Fort Mcdowell did.
Don't understand why the Fort needed to be renovated into the new building? The Fort had always been the top pick when we wanted to go to the casino. Think this was a keep up with the jonses type upgrade and hopefully works out but for me will be going elsewhere now. The awesome appeal of The Fort was the building. The History and the legend to go along with it. The Fort was actually a Fort and thats what made it uniquely one of a kind. There was no other place like it in AZ and now maybe never again.
You also took away a lot of the fun slots in the move as well.

Nice and clean rooms. Beautiful heated pool in a few Jacuzzis. Didn't find the jackpot machine though! Room service quick and efficient and good portion size breakfast. There is a bar outside by the pool that also serves food and such.

Stayed there over Christmas and could not have been more impressed with the rooms, service and just beauty of the grounds. The restaurant was excellent and the service from the restaurant to the front desk was top notch. For the price of the rooms, you really can't beat it. The pool area is amazing and the kids had a blast. We were there visiting relatives, but would go back to the hotel just to vacation. Room tip: Get a room facing the pool, mountain views are great. Finally, the casino is sort of depressing, old and outdated. They told us when we were there they have plans to build a brand new casino on the property.

Not an avid gambler but post-covid 19 it seemed even more of a get rich quick schemes because there wasn't anything else to do but to go in, lose money and get out. Hardly any soda in my veins, no tobacco for the hour and a half I was there. And not to mention hardly being hit on by on lookers, I could barely handle my ego being shattered when it realized the days of being stroked by some random casino goer... are over. Place was aught. Covid19... no joke. Stay home and stay healthy.

Beautiful scenery, reasonable food prices in Casino, friendly staff

Absolutely Love This Place, however this time got a double room. The beds were Extremly squeaky and annoying. The fridge had no freezer and it was Extremly dirty with dust at the top of the bed. The headboard was loose and rattled. All can be forgiven seeing everything else was phenomenal.

Pool is great, casino is fun. Here for staycation with friends and having a great time!

Awesome hotel and casino. Good selection of slots and dining venues. Hotel boasts 2 pools, hot tubs and a splash pad. They had Dive In movies for the kids Saturday and Sunday night and a DJ too. It's very busy but we're here for labor day weekend so that's to be expected. We've stayed here before and always have a great time.

It is really a nice facility and I really enjoyed myself.

I loved everything about our stay. The room was clean & bed was comfortable. Dining options were great. Went to the spa & had a fabulous experience. I will definitely be returning!

I surprised my boyfriend on his birthday (10-03-18) and booked us a night to stay and a massage in their spa.
The website didn't say they are under construction and all we could hear and see was construction everywhere. We we're hanging out by the pool with drinks and that's all we could hear and his massage was rather unpleasant. They took him to a hotel room and massage him there listening to a construction noise. He wasn't happy, I wasn't happy. This was an important occasion. I called the manager to discuss things, left a message and haven't recieved a return call. I should have chosen a different hotel.
The fact that the website doesn't say they are under construction is false advertising. We came in there with great expectations. Our house could have been a better experience had we just stayed home.
The Anhala restaurant was great with great staff.

I thought of going to talking stick and I should have but I wanted somewhere where we can feel that we are out of the city. We should have stayed in Talking Stick instead. I bet we would have a better experience.
My boyfriend and I went to a different massage parlor in town the next day for half the price and a better experience.

Ever since the casino opened I do not like the bingo anymore. I don't like thenew bingo machines. No more morning or matinee except for Sunday for morning and only Thursday Friday and Saturday matinee. I work on those days so now my Bingo play is over. I didn't mind the 50 mile one way with the old casino and bingo...now it's just not worth it anymore

Amazing and beautiful views, and wonderful customer service.

Great surprise luxury hotel in the far East Valley. Rooms were nice! Some of the softest pillows I've encountered. Super friendly staff who were more than accommodating. I was there for a work event and the conference rooms were fantastic and the food incredible. Would recommend to anyone and there is a casino right next door if you want to try your hand with lady luck.

Visited for a small convention. Nice property, but a bit out of the way if you're anywhere but the East valley.

Visited a year ago during the winter and it was the nicest hotel i have ever been to! The rooms where top notch, the pool was great, out of the way from a major city but close enough you could go do basically anything. If it was not for the fact its a bit out of our budget now i would go back in a heart beat!

It's a really cool revamp from Fort McDowell...i like the new vibe..the table gaming drink service was a little slow when I was there?

Wonderful experience all around. From the staff to the decorations. Had dinner at their steakhouse I'll never forget was amazing! I got the porterhouse can you say perfection, and our server had me laughing hysterically! The room in the resort was somehow elegant yet comfy and very spacious too! Casino was even fun although if the 3 in the area this one did seem to be the least willing to pay lol I hit jackpots at the other 2 but not this one. Still though, newer machines I'd never even seen, very exciting! My husband did cash out over a grand one time so don't be discouraged! Lol. Highly recommend! Will be coming back!

We enjoy the ease of going to the casino and walking back & forth to the room. Pool is great . Construction makes dinning a chore. But all in all nice location.

loved it, had a great time. Room was nice, staff friendly and the restaurant was fantastic. We used a groupon and plan on going back next month.

Conference center is nice, more signs from the parking lot showing what direction to go in would be nice. Fortunately a random employee was around to point me in the right direction after being dropped off by a uber.

Rushed very sterile environment not much interaction with guests.

Visited for a professional meeting and found the facilities very nice with all the amenities you'd expect in a modern resort setting.

I live in the Phoenix Valley. I go visit We-Ko-Pa a few times a year for a staycation. Best value for your money and the staff is always fantastic!

The customer service was subpar. Our rooms weren't ready when we arrived. Also, upon turning down the bed, we noticed it was wet. I asked for the bed to be remade. They just dropped off the sheets. This was at 12:30 am. The sheets they dropped off were also wet. I fixed the problem because they seemed to be struggling to do so. When I asked to be comped the night, "they hadn't decided how they were going to handle it yet." Terrible customer service. I won't be returning.

So this place has the potential to get a really good review because the resort isn t bad. The rooms were nice and it had all the amenities you d expect from a hotel or resort. The pool was nice. Gym was nice. It was clean. But the customer service was terrible! House keeping only came to the room once to make the beds. I had to ask for new towels almost daily. I called to ask for glasses and they gave me coffee mugs because they said they couldn t find any lol. For the first time ever I drank wine in a coffee mug so I can check that off my bucket list.

First time here, only had been open a few weeks. This place is 10 times better than the DD casino that opened up a few months back. Bigger, NO smoking which Is awesome. New keno games? Lots of choices for poker machines. They had table games as well. The only bad part is it is so far away. But totally worth it!!

The ground and pool are very peaceful and relaxing!! Love the beds too!!! Zzzzzzz

I played different slots machines i didn't get lucky or the machines are set that way when I got to play the bonus play i got paid zero.

Nice place, great front desk service, nice golf courses, casino is fun but smokey. Pool area and service out there was excellent.

My experience with the hotel was terrible. I must say that the rooms were wonderful and it's very peaceful. When I checked out I have a receipt showing the finally charges was a total of 208. When I checked my card it's was a extra charge of 200 dollars for damages. We took very care of that room. We didn't damage anything. I have called down there plenty of times and left multiple voicemails with the head of housekeeping Lucy and no one has reached out to me. Before we left to check out we took a photo to post on our Facebook. I have that photo available as proof as when I checked out there was no damages. All I am asking is for someone to take there time and show me the proof and of the damages. I will keep calling until this matter

went there on a 3 day vacation , friendly workers that greeted me with a smile. check in is easy and the my room was clean with a great view. the resort is very casual, i wore jeans and nice shirts my entire stay. the pool was heated but a bit cool but, i did go in February .
my first night i went to WKP sports bar , the food was amazing, friendly staff and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and things to do. i mostly ate at the market restaurant , great prices, friendly staff and very good food. overall my stay was relaxing, fun and amazing

Beautiful casino. Loved walking inside and out. Staff was totally cool. Nice experience. Only problem was ,was that I didn't see beautiful models walking around ,just regular folks.

Not impressed! Just checked out and wasn't even asked "how was your stay?"
The one and only thing said at check out was, "what room?"

NO HOT WATER!

Hot showers are practical expectations when paying over $200 a night, especially when being nonsmokers in a smoking casino. Can't even tell you how much of an irritating night sleep we got and to top it off why in the world do grounds crews use a ridiculously loud leaf blowers at 6AM under guest rooms.
Headboard and walls were disgustingly dusty.

Beautiful, smoke free... Love the poker room & staff, dealers are super friendly & professional, excellent.

This location was clearly under construction and did not have enough employees working on the most critical night... Saturday night.
The prime rib offered as a special on Saturdays was huge and Hardy, although.... What they call a steak knife, we call a butter knife. All of us had trouble cutting our steak.
We noted a employee periodically walk through the pool area doing checks but made no effort to tidy up chairs empty chairs and tables. For such a large pool area, we felt it needed more employee attention.

Rooms are comfortable and most of the staff is pleasant. The pool is my favorite spot at this resort. It's really not for kids though and I'm always surprised to see them there.

Beautiful place that is magical and breath taking its feels like your a million miles away in the desert yet the hotel is very big and modern and there are many amenities and they have a casino that stay s open all night. Its a wonderful place and I highly recommend a visit
