It had very nice campers. but you are going to have to pick a really good day to get there if you wanted camper with bunks.

Tyler was an angel in disguise! We were in distress and needed air for our low RV tire. Not only did he gladly help us, but he also helped us repair our broken mirror. He was kind, knowledgable, and we are so glad we happened to find his shop! Keep up the excellent work Tyler!!!

Tyler at Mid-West either has no idea what he's doing or is a liar. First of all, I was looking at a much cheaper camper that would leave me money for updates and accessories like an awning but he offered me a great deal on a better camper so I took him up on the offer. It was great, he told me the camper weighed 900lbs, my vehicle could tow 2000lbs so it was perfect. I got suspicious after hearing conflicting weights from other people and when I saw the title and it stated the weight was 2700lbs I questioned him. He assured me the camper weighs 900lbs and that the title weight is actually the max weight the camper's axle could handle. I was still weary so I took it to a truck scale. The camper that he hooked up to my 4 cylinder Sorento that could tow a max of 2000lbs ACTUALLY weighs 3000lbs, EMPTY! I was livid but loved the camper so I went and bought a pickup that could tow it. Problem solved but still made him look like an idiot. While picking up the camper, I noticed the awning was missing and he assured me that it had an awning (that was important to me). I asked about it and he said it was being repaired and he would get it to me once it was back from the upholstery place. Fast forward TWO MONTHS and I am getting ready to take the camper on it's maiden voyage still without an awning. In the past 2 months I had sent several emails that he eventually quit responding to and had left a few messages that he would not respond to. I finally got the awning with a week to spare, took it home to slide it on and there's nothing on the bag to slide into the track. I called him several times and spoke to Linda who was passing on messages but because Tyler would never call me back, I had no clue what was going on if anything so I finally went down there with the awning and confronted him. Just so happened that an upholstery guy was there when we arrived so Tyler, reluctantly asked the guy if he could stitch something to the bag that would slide onto the channel. I had a piece of rubber that I slid out of the channel that the awning was CUT off of and I gave that to Tyler. Apparently, Tyler told the upholstery guy to use that piece. Tyler said "I can't keep putting money into this camper because I made you a hell of a deal"..... he OFFERED me a hell of a deal AFTER I told him the camper was out of my price range. I was grateful but also wanted a working awning because the awning is important to me and he assured me that the camper had one. Well, Tyler had the upholstery guy use the old rubber and wrap it but the old rubber barely fit so after it was wrapped, it wouldn't slide into the track. The upholstery guy asked Tyler to help me fix it but Tyler refused. As I see it, Tyler got his money and didn't follow through with the entire sale. I have my camper and the upholstery guy is left cleaning up the mess Tyler made. He doesn't know what he's doing and once he has his money, couldn't care less about his customers.

10/10 these guys were absolute life savers. They patched up our RV roof for us as we were passing through town. Allowed us to come in early and took us first thing in the AM to get us repaired and on the way. Wish they were in our home state of VA because we d definitely become loyal customers. Such an awesome team! Thank you guys so much!!! If you re in Rapid City, hands down, go to them with your RV needs.

We are back on the road thanks to Tyler and his service techs. We can t begin to express our appreciation. Our roof on our motor home received wind damage while we were 900 miles from home. They got us fixed up and right back on the road. Professional and courteous. Thank you so much!

CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Tyler was great, we purchased a pre-owned coach late last fall. We needed a tow bar. Talking to all the other guys we choose to go to Mid-West. Best move we ever made!! We got the tow bar and Tyler ended up replacing the Satellite Receiver on the spur of the moment and taught us how to run the greater share of the things in this coach. I would recommend Mid-West to anyone looking for help in purchasing, repairs or knowledge on your unit.

Replaced our air conditioner, had to do alot of figuring out wiring. Provided good service and quality work.

I just traveled cross country and this place was my absolute favorite. As mentioned in other reviews, they are very thorough and customer oriented. Professional and honest service!! They went above and beyond to fix my plumbing problem.. . This was shortly before Sturgis Rallye, but they still took the time to help me out after I was turned away from many other, bigger places. I can't thank them enough.
I will be back for sure, if I am ever in the area again and I would highly recommend them!

I have been serviced by several RV facilities through the entire West Coast and I have found that Mid-West Campers & Recreation, in Rapid City, SD, was the best experience I have ever had. They are professional, honest, accommodating and personal.

Our family was on vacation in the Black Hills with an RV. Our bottom arm bracket to our awing broke spontaneously.

It could have been a really long trip home with it broken, but for $20, not only did they sell us the part we needed, they quickly installed it at the same time. A highlight of our trip was fixing this before we went home. Really put our minds at ease. Fixed as good as new. THANK YOU!

On our way from Boise, ID to Sioux Falls, SD, we ended up with a cooktop issue in our RV. We found Midwest Campers online, stopped on our way thru Rapid City, and Tyler and his sweet daughter fixed the problem in 10 min! Back on the road, safe and sound! THANK YOU TYLER!!

Tyler is great. It's nice to get good service unlike the service you get at the big camper dealers like Camping World.

This is the place to go for all of your RV needs/ wants. We traveled from FL to In before finding the trailer we wanted and took the plunge to drive out to get our Host. Tyler is very knowledgeable , his family and employees are friendly and professional. He went out of his way to help us and meet our every need, offered us an amazing deal and got us on our way quickly.
