We could not check in till after 3:30 pm...manager did not even compliment us for the inconvenience...manager was rude. I had ordered some drinks while were waiting for are room, bartender charged me full price for drinks that he ran out of liquor for....never repaid me the correct pour. Found human poop in corner by a facility room. However rooms were nice and clean.. cleaning staff was great.

The room was a bit worn and dated, but the lobby was fantastic. The toilet water was yellow and left a permanent ring in the toilet. Heated pool was nice. Walk to the beach and nearby restaurants made up for the room condition.

A place with impressive boats, The facilities are very efficient and can accommodate large boats of more than 150 feet, The docks have fresh water, electricity and sewage services, and security at the main entrance. It has a large capacity parking for service cars and the marina is facing the beach.

Too long; Didn't Read- great layout and structure, but people are severely failing it.

I arrived Thursday morning, and the individuals were a bit confused on what was going on. The credit card that we booked with was no longer on file, and had to be done there. So the card of the business owner had to be there, and even though we were there for a convention, it didn't matter. So, the balance was put on my card.

The room was clean. There was a big stain outside the room, as well as nicks and damage from small things around the room. Where doors meet, loose things like that.

Day one, the TV went out. This was preempted by the TV remote and TV controls having extremely delayed inputs. As in, hit the volume up, set the remote down, go use the restroom, and as you are getting in bed, the volume will go up. This isn't a joke, this is an exact detail of what occurred. That evening, the TV just stopped working. The next day, we called to have it fixed. 15 minutes after he arrived, it was fixed by the most nervous man in Florida. The same happened the following day, only it was constant static, blips, cutting out sound. These symptoms occurred on previous days, but small doses. Saturday- 1/3 of the time the TV was on, there was no sound, distortion in sound or picture, or just a black screen. I learned from Mr. Nervous that they switched to a bulk satellite provider, which was much cheaper. These issues are prevalent, but it costs less. (I don't travel to watch TV, but if I put on HBO for an hour, 20 minutes shouldn't be static/without sound).

Most of the people left a lot to be desired in customer service. The hight points...
-Saturday night, a gentleman extended our checkout time and tried to assist in getting the credit card issue resolved.
-Thursday late morning, the valet. He actually explained how to use my car (BMW made NO sense), helped me with what he could, and let me sit my car out front for 20 minutes. Very friendly, very polite.
-Sunday, late morning. Rick was a porter and I told him I didn't need help. He just jumped in. Honestly, he threw me off my game, and the things most people want, I don't. He really irritated me but he had good intentions.

The bad...
-Thursday late afternoon, the check in person. No personality, no enthusiasm, no care. I couldn't tell if she was at the end of a 10 hour shift, or the beginning of a 18 hour shift. No cares.
-Saturday mid day, the toll booth operator. I pulled in to use the right ticket reader, and it said jammed. She was busy playing on some device. Waved, moved, nothing. When the line on the left was done and no one was behind me, I pulled into the left lane, and got her attention. She started rambling about nonsense with how to park, and ignored that I had a placard on my car. When she was done interrupting me, with her smart butt attitude, I smiled, and informed her that I had a placard, was aware, and after waiting and waiting and trying to get her attention, I just came over. As I spoke, she was flicking her keys, and when I finished they launched out of the booth at me. I doubt this was intentional, but I find it very unprofessional on top of her other behavior and attitude.
-The maid who kept knocking. That sign on the door, saying do not disturb? I understand it is the one paper not written in Spanish, but it means no disturbo my roomo.
Regardless of my attitude and snark here, I genuinely enjoy happiness. I make it a point to smile to the people around me, acknowledge them, and be courteous. Everyone not listed here was just meh. No smiles back, no courtesy. Clearly everyone here is unhappy.

The general layout of the structure is sweet. Two hotels, the beach, and the pool and weight room (FRICKEN AWESOME) are connected by a cross forming pathway. Up in the air, avoids traffic, well lit, lots of cameras, very secure. One thing to note, they do not support stair use. They can be found at the end of the floors, but appear to be strictly fire exits. Really Google?!?

Google is cutting me off. Find the whole review on Yelp :)

A spot that really surprised me ! They have a huge variety of shops and parking is huge. It s great to park there if you re coming to Fort Lauderdale beach. Location is on point. Just crossing the street from the beach and walking distance from all the restaurants there in A1A. Super close to las Olas boulevard as well. Good choice!

Great week to be in Florida, warm weather and this was a beautiful resort hotel. Very friendly staff. This resort had a bridge (walkover) to the beach, trolley and bus in front of the hotel and a lot of great places to walk and eat inside and in the main streets. The Jungle Queen river cruise is a 2 minute walk from the hotel.

Nice place to stay for a little vaca, not much to enjoy at the hotel but it's on the water. And this is exactly where the boat show happen every year. It's under construction right now. The overhead bridge is close. Give it a shot.

I visited this location to attend a Jungle Queen sailing. The parking was listed as being at this location. There weren't any signs regarding the Jungle Queen parking and after asking 3 separate people, I was told where to go and it took me another 5 minutes to get to the area they told me to go to. All in all, I think the parking could have had signage to indicate where to go for what.

I was not overall impressed by this hotel. A number of the rooms are in a separate building across the parking lot from the main hotel. There is a bridge connecting the two buildings, but rather than instructing guests to use this to access our rooms, we were instructed to drag our luggage across the busy parking lot. The rooms themselves are rather small and despite being "recently renovated" were quite dated. Furthermore, the bridge to the beach is closed, so a trip to the beach involves scrambling across a busy intersection until the bridge gets repaired.

Horrible service. The customer service was not up to standards. We had to request everything every time to be brought to the room, and we have been told to come and getting it ourselves. And it's not like we paid $50 per night. Which probably should be the rate for this hotel. This is absurd. I won't recommend this hotel and i will definitely not stay here again.

This hotel is literally just "Okay" for what it is. I honestly can't say it was excellent or poor. If you're just looking for a decent place to stay close to the beach and close to The Market, this is it.

What the f! Is wrong with these people?! We drove 1500 miles to see the beach, as a family of 5, and the room is not what we were told, it's not even suitable in size for us. We literally have a 15x13 room to share. The place is filthy. First we found blood stains on the skirts of the beds that the manager went to go check out. She basically told us we were lying about it but they "changed the sheets anyway" and called us when the room was ready. When we went to go see if it was cleaned- the skirt was still filthy. We asked the manager to come with and she had housekeeping come. We literally had to point the spot out (which was 2"x6") and then got some excuse about how the "housemen" were gone for the day and they would have to get security to come strip the bed. The second was alcoholic beverages or "drinks" in the small fridge. That's not ok for a famliy to walk in and find. So, they sent us away while they got security.

Seperate thought here- I get the whole pay to park, that's ok- I suppose, but pay for wifi! Pay for breakfast! And pay a $50.00/night room deposit! I understand charging the "I don't care spring breakers" but a family; that's just plain retarded.
Now I have been here for a total of an hour.. sitting on the beach wishing I could get the money back and just sleep in the car... sooo disappointed.

We all went back to the room that they said they cleaned and guess what?! The kids find dirty women's panties in the closet!! Are you kidding me... seriously should not have to pay for this garbage! ! No discount, nothing but an "I'm sorry"... well that doesn't fix a years worth of planning, 2 days in a car, and the money that was spent- especially for whatever else this horrible place will throw at us..

That being said...location is everything and this location is pretty nice. Also there's a view of some beautiful yachts.

End review: Don't bring your family here, onto the 6th floor of this horrible place. If you do stay make sure it's in a suite. Some reviews said they are nice. Be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars to get the same amenities you would for free in all the other hotels in this area. And be prepared to get told you are wrong if you have a complaint.

Just terrible--what a disappointment. Richard Ryczek & I finishing up our visit to Fort Lauderdale with a couple of nights here...really wish we had stayed at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort (which we love & where we usually stay) but we wanted to check out the Bahia Mar, now that it is a Hilton property. We are loyal Hilton customers...have been for years...Hilton Honors Gold, and we even own a couple of Hilton Grand Vacation properties, so our experience here has been quite shocking, to say the least. Our disappointment began at check in...there were several people waiting to check in at the front desk, but no one was in the Hilton Honors line...we went to the Hilton Honors line and then stepped up to the next available desk agent. Well, one of the folks waiting in the other line had a fit that we were cutting in front of them. The desk agent apologized profusely to this man and told him to come to the desk...while we were sent to the back of the line. Outrageous...and terribly embarrassing. When we finally got to the desk, I was livid...I asked why the Hilton Honors line was there if we couldn't use it? The young man informed us that the girl who had been taking care of the Hilton Honors line had stepped away for a while. How were we supposed to know this? That made it okay to humiliate us? Unbelievable!!!

And then we get to our room. I'm almost speechless. The furniture is beat up, the carpet is stained and very badly patched in the wash room, a huge crack in the ceiling....I could go on and on. Let's just say that the room we were given is in pretty bad shape. I took pictures but won't post them here...at least the sheets appear to be clean. We love Hilton, so it pains me to say it, but were it not for the fact that we are only here for two nights, we'd be out of here. The place is a dump.

****BEWARE*** PEOPLE ARE ALLOW TO SMOKE IN THIS HOTEL EVEN THOUGH THEY ADVERTISE AS NO-SMOKING.
THE HOTELS ROOM HAVE BALCONIES AND PEOPLE SMOKE IN THE BALCONY (which the hotel allows) AND THE SMOKE GOES INTO THE ROOMS, I HAD 3 GUESTS AROUND MY BALCONY WHO SMOKED AND I HAD TO KEEP MY BALCONY DOOR CLOSE DEPRIVING OF THE VIEW WICH BY THE WAY I PAID FOR. COMPLAINTS AFTER COMPLAINTS WHERE MADE, AND THEY DID NOTHING, "IN FLORIDA SMOKE IN THE OUTDOORS IS ALLOWED" THEY SAID, SO WHEN A GUEST STEPS IN THE BALCONY TO SMOKE ITS CONSIDER OUTDOORS FOR THESE CROOKS!! WE ASK TO CHANGE ROOMS AND IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME, SAME HAPPENED. IN THE MAIN DOOR PEOPLE SMOKE BY THE DOORS!!!!
IN THE POOL THE SMOKE IS UNBEARABLE, THEY HAVE ASHTRAYS EVERYWHERE IN THE POOL, CIGARS, CIGARETS, MY KIDS HAD TO PUT UP WITH THIS NONSENSE, THEY WOULDN'T GIVE US THE MONEY BACK, WE EVEN CALLED THE HILTON MAIN OFFICE WITH NOT RESULTS. IF YOU CALL TO MAKE A RESERVATION JUST ASK: IS SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS?, THEY WILL SAY NO, BUT ASK AGAIN, WHAT ABOUT IN THE BALCONIES?.......
NEVER AGAIN, I CANT BELIEVE THAT HILTON HAS GONE THIS LOW, THEY USED TO BE A GOOD CHAIN OF HOTELS, AND THEY FALSE ADVERTISE. ****WHAT A NIGHTMARE THIS WAS**

Was excited to stay here again as we stayed here last year. However, this time around it wasn't as pleasant. The check in was chaos, there was no power at the pool bar to make frozen drinks, the lobby bar didn't have a blender (drinks are 15.00), and it took literally an hour to get an extra pillow I phoned in the front desk to get. I had to call 3 times to finally get it. Not impressed! They also were supposed to include breakfast for our group but only gave breakfast tickets to 2 out of our party of 9. The gentleman who set up our reservation no longer works here we were told.

I went there recently and for and unknown reason they gave me a room at the building across the main one. Is very ugly, old, elevator seems that is going to fall down, no maintenance. And they charged me the same as if I would have stayed at the main building!! My worst experience EVER! Next day I went to breakfast at the "nice" area, waiting was horrible only because instead of getting the expensice buffet, I ordered a la carte....dont do that....theh wait is almost 1 hour and does not worth it.

The hotel has a walkway that brings you over the road, straight to the beach. The rooms are nicely sized and clean. We have had an issue with getting terribly hot while sleeping even though the room is cold (I think it's the bedding), but we're living with it. A handful of places to eat are within easy walking distance, and the views are lovely.

You would think that since this hotel is by the beach, it would be nice. It isn't within walking distance of many places, the insane upcharge that none of the booking sites mention is near criminal ($37 extra per day for "amenities" -- complimentary drink tickets to a closed bar, really?), and I just didn't really feel entirely safe there. The TV remote didn't work, nor did the safe. I told the front desk employee that the remote was busted and they did nothing to replace it. The best part about it was the view.

We rented a room for one day for labor day weekend...

We rented a room for one day for labor day weekend September 5th. Upon arrival it was a mess already waiting in line for 30 minutes to check in since there was only 2 clerks working the front desk. We ended up having to book 2 rooms because there was a max of 4 people to a room since we had 5 people in that party. The rooms looked fine but we noticed one room was not getting cool. We left to go to the pool and upon getting there social distancing went out the door. Pool was packed and seating was not arranged for social distancing. They said pool was limited to 32 people when there was 50-60 people in it. After the pool we go back to the room and our room was still warm. So I tried to call the front desk and no one would answer whichever forced me to walk across the parking lot and wait again for 30 minutes. Once I was in front I told them that my AC wasnt working and they said someone would come to my room and take care of it. But there was no time frame. I left to dinner and removed the do not disturb sign like they asked. Came back from dinner. They same thing, called no answer , walked across the parking lot and waited another 30 minutes in line again. I asked why isnt anyone answering the phone and I was told that if there was a line that they do not pick up. It seemed weird. As the hotel seemed to be at capacity but they were understaffed??? Why??? Since in know that hotels are taking 24 hrs to make sure a room is sanitized, I asked if I could have a late checkout. They said no since the room needed to be ready for the next guest checking in the same day I checked out. That didnt make sense and the clerk said there was nothing she can do. Back to the AC problem they said it would need to be fixed the next day. I then asked how is it fair to me and also the next guest you are so anxious to check in if the AC isnt working. All they can say was sorry. The next morning I was furious and still no manager could be found. They did remove the resort fee as a courtesy, but it doesnt make up for the experience. This was the most uncomfortable experience I ever had. The hotel was so money hungry forcing me to get another room and also booking the hotel to a 100% capacity to the point that they couldn't handle simple guest requests. Managers were no where to be found leaving only 2 people to handle complaints which caused people to check in later than expected. I will never do business with this hotel again. Good riddance!

I was upgraded to a lovely suite. Ocean view, comfortable and very clean. The registration staff were friendly and responsive. I even received text messages from them asking if there was anything they could do to make my stay more enjoyable. The location is perfect. Of course ocean front but also close to nearby restaurants and shopping, although the resort has a restaurant, bar and several shops adjacent to a marina.

First time visit to this hotel. The Tower rooms are very modern and comfortable thanks to a major remodel that is being completed right now. In my room there was plenty of space to get my work done with a large desk. Even in my room I was easily distracted by the amazing view from my room in the Tower. The view of both the beautiful beaches and the intercoastal marina on the side of the hotel was fantastic from the room. I recommend taking a walk over to the pool and outside bar. What a great place to relax. My experience was lots of cheerful staff and great food while at the pool restaurant and bar. Who would not be happy with those views?
From the pool, this is a great location to walk to the beach which is directly in front of the hotel. It is also just a short walk next door to many of the charter fishing captains docks. Walk a few steps further and you are at a variety of fantastic seafood restaurants like Coconuts which was my favorite local bar and dinner spot. Late at night or early in the morning I chose to visit The Market. This was my go to for great breakfast, lunch, or dinner snack items to just pick up and take to the beach. They have really nice quality foods, pastries, fresh juices, salads, even sushi. I cannot wait to return again in November to see all of the upgrades and beautiful remodeled areas of the hotel completed. I am going back because the more I explored the more I found at this hotel that I enjoyed. It was a relaxing visit! Thank you to the staff for their attention to the details and wonderful pampering. After the remodel maybe I can update my rating to 5 star. See you again soon!

We arrived around 2-3am but the man at the front desk was extremely nice to us and even gave us warm cookies. The hotel also is in a great location for quick access to the beach, as well as the hotel's pool not open to the public. Overall a great stay!

Reserved and asked for specific rooms in the tower facing the beach and they took no record as they said they had done. Instead they put us in some back bldg ground floor rooms that were not clean and no where near what they had said they'd given us. The bathrooms weren't clean and there were bugs in the bed. And they make you sign a waiver for a cot.

This is a excellent location. Right across from the beach. Easy walking distance to a lot of restaurant's.

Showing it's age. Seems like there is a lot of deferred maintance. Something we found especially disturbing was the pool. Scum ring around the whole pool at the water line. Would we come back. Yes! Just not for the pool.

I'm rating not for hotel, I parked there for jungle queen. Nice parking lot compared to public parking lot. $7 for 5 hours. But after 300 people exiting parking with one booth opened can be a pain.
