I go there quite regularly. Great place to visit with your friends/ family or even by yourself ! Close to State Library, Southbank restaurants and CBD. Great location and environment. Have a nice day out on weekends and treat yourself nicely with beautiful art works, then go out to nice restaurants at Southbank or you might walk to the CBD for shopping ! Always 10 out of 10 for me ! What not to like.

Really liked it here, parked in the QPAC car park quick kept it to a flat fee of $17, was there for about 3 hours. The art was so nice and the gallery is clean, modern and spacious. Entry was free and it's a little gem. Heard about the gallery from a friend but I'd love to spend more time there next time I'm in Brisbane.

The biracially charged silver balls floating on black water downstairs are a travesty. Why haven't the ceramics from downstairs been moved to another exhibition from 2-3 months ago? Why are they setting up an exhibition room during business hours and not overnight? I went to the gift shop to buy a poster advertised on their website, every other one except the "Evicted" poster about a community trying to force a woman into prostitution fueled by jealousy was in the cardboard boxes, the one I was looking for. To compete with privately run commercial art galleries and to raise tourism revenue, the exhibitions should be shorter. Changing month to month.Wonderful Aboriginal art. There was a young Indian man fliming with his phone like Spoony Luv takes driving lesson on YouTube. "illegal"? I've seen better. It's ok. A recent tour of Commercial Art Galleries in New York with the guidance of my cousin, Brian Josselyn who paints on canvas.

Thought it is much better than NGV in Melbourne, ops sorry! Lovely and friendly staff. The Marvel exhibition was awesome but it would have kicked arse if there's a fixed, timed session so that I can enjoy the exhibition more without squeezing between parents and kids.

The motor cycle exhibition was excellent. Full credit to GOMA for organising this opportunity for us to see so many unique machines. And my grandkids enjoyed the 'walk through history' aspect of the very well organised and displayed exhibition.

The Queensland Art Gallery is quite simply awesome! Nestled in the beautiful river, it is a lovely work and an amazing building! There are always fantastic exhibitions - and staff are friendly! Seen a few exhibitions and the latest one, Patricia Piccinini - really shows how an artist can reshape the place! Love the grounds, water feature and the coffee... great little cafe! A truly awesome place!

The marvel exhibition was brilliant. So much to see and a lot of interactive things to do.

Well worth the $25 fee to get in.

Unfortunately we didn't see any other parts of the gallery but the staff we came into contact with were really friendly.

Good place to soak up some artwork and chill on days where you just want to relax and do something slow. The exhibits are very interesting and they change on a seasonal basis as well. Good place to go for dates and just to unwind. Parking is pricey but the museum is pretty much free.

Wonderful amount of art, a good place to go to get the children out of the house. The general gallery is free but some occasional exhibitions cost money. When I went, there was the WATER exhibition. It was great but a bit pricy, at 44 dollars for a family but it was worth. I took some photos of some parts. The gift shop is also great, perfect for getting a present for a loved one or to treat yourself.

GOMA has consistently got great exhibitions and a fun atmosphere. The staff are incredibly helpful even when they don't know the answers. The cafe is a great place to reflect over a coffee with a view.

Very disappointing. The exhibitions that are framed in glass - all you see is your own reflection. The reflection of myself over took any ability to see or critic the framed works. The lighting needs serious work.

I can always spend hours here. There s always so much to see, so much to learn and it s always so well presented. So proud that GOMA is ours here in Qld, it s world class and makes us a destination.

My most recent visit is for Motorcycle which is a fabulous cross-section collection for motorists and design fiends alike.

GOMA generally has interesting exhibitions and forms part of Queenslands cultural precinct. We are very lucky to have such a great attraction in a such a beautiful riverside setting. Keep up the great work. Always a good spot on a hot week-end.

What an amazing gallery, it is in a convent location beside the city. Multiple was to get there through transport and lots of options for parking (warning, can be expensive). I have been for multiple exhibitions, all have been well laid out and planned. I would recommend seeing anything that is on here. I was lucky enough to see the Marvel Exhibition which was spectacular!
