Gorgeous views of the river and the city, perfectly located, awesome architecture, design, and art

Exhibition was excellent, however better planning of the layout would be good

Creating the Marvel Superhero universe exhibition was great for kids of all ages. A lot of stuff on display. Good value and interesting.

Awesome place to visit at anytime, always has something on or happening.

We went to see some Aboriginal arts. It was really good and mind stimulating. However they didn't have a lot of art works on display, so it was really a quick visit. We didn't go to see motorcycle show. GOMA has a very good view of the city and the river. Staff were very friendly. It was very quiet on Sunday afternoon.

One of my favourite places in Brisbane, always worth a visit. The gallery is large, spacious and takes you away from the hustle and bustle of South Bank and the CBD outside. I eagerly anticipate APT every three years and have seen so many beautiful, powerful pieces of artwork at this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the recent Olley/Quilty feature.

My favourite part of the gallery is always the children's interactive space. Thank you for making art and complex ideas accessible to children and for reminding adults to stay in touch with the child inside.

Gift shop is also one of the best places to buy presents.

Some galleries have a few good exhibits and some dreary ones but this gallery has a continuous innovative art in many mediums from traditional to futuristic. Well worth going and it's free to see most of the regular exhibits. Good for kids too as crafty activities are there for them

Drab and boring. The building is so ugly and the atmosphere is stifling. Nothing kind the GOMA

Great, no fantastic building. Great expo's wonderful movies. GReat children section. Topper.

Stunning space. So well arranged! There is even a phone charging station and a comfy area to relax.

I live exploring the exhibitions that are held here, they are always visually pleasing, and educational. I it us an idyllic setting on the banks of the Brisbane River

Excellent to go for a wander anytime but especially during our heatwave months and rainy days. :) The restaurant does charge ridiculous $$, even by overpriced Australian standards. :/ Just don't go to GOMA on an empty stomach.

Get on down to the Asia Pacific Triennial for Contemporary Art.... best in the world!

Still a great place to spend a few hours, time your visit for the tour around 1.00 pm.

Nice place to spend 2-3hours by your own or join guide tour (each hour). I had been joined a Australia art guide tour with a elegant lady, I thought she must retired and be a volunteer in Queensland Art Gallery.

She told us a story about a R. Godfrey River s painting Under the jacaranda . There has someone unknown bring real jacaranda which flower is not original grow in Australia to spread under the painting everyday. It is so romantic!

Always have such fantastic displays. We thoroughly enjoyed the Marvel exhibit! Lots of interactive activities for the kids.

A detailed collection of art, with a great indigenous connection. Also information for children readily available.

Exciting exhibits at year round. Definitely a recommended site to visit when you're in Brisbane.

Very very impressed. This place has displays that are interesting, facinating and impressionable. Well worth a visit. Take your time as there is a lot to take in and plenty of places to rest. I was also impressed with the friendly and professional staff. Wow, just a lovely way to spend an afternoon. I took many many photos!

Honestly a waste of time. Not worth it. Rude staff, stuffy building and not a large diversity of Art... Zzzzz...

Great pace, large place to put on those modern art! It s awesome and clean! U definitely going to here and stay for one day inspired by the modern art.

I liked the way some of the older Australian artists works are displayed by hanging their precious and endeared works on a metal grid on one wall in the gallery. It is easier to review and discuss with fellow peers. The water feature is always one to behold as a personal experience.

A tranquil place with an exhibition of paintings by Namatjira's relatives.

My friend and I went to the motorcycle exhibition last week, they were amazing. From the bike themselves to the arrangement, near the entrance there were ones looked like bicycles, then outdoor bikes and finally the modern electric ones. There were interactive games as well, you can design your own motorcycle and share through SMS or email.

Love GOMA. Various exhibits throughout the year, all displayed in an engaging and informative way.

Excellent, free public art gallery. Activities to keep kids entertained and a cloakroom to drop off bags.

The Gallery holds some very well curated exhibitions. The recent motor cycle exhibition was a great example of a really popular event. There is plenty of space for many visitors and space for inspiration and reflective thinking. The Gallery Cafe over looking the Brisbane River is really a wonderful hospitality venue with great staff, good food and the tree lined bank of the river with its many boats and bridges. The blue water dragons are friendly and courageous as they guard the southern bank of the river.

I really want to run through that sculpture that is made up of car wash spinny things.

A must visit for locals and tourists in Brisbane. There is always a new art exhibit on in addition to the permanent fixture. A cultural delight for the whole family.

Takes a special sort to like this stuff. If you like art go to the art gallery if you like pseudo intellectual philosophy come here.

A bit overpriced for special exhibitions but otherwise a very lovely and spacious gallery

It has a an attractive collection of artworks from around queensland, albeit no the largest collection, it's free to go and a nice place to take family and friends during a day in Brisbane

10th anniversary celebration was amazing, beautiful view

I enjoyed the building more than the exhibitions but it was a great way to kill time in CBD of Glasgow. The library was decent but did lack a thorough catalogue of books. Overall I'd say pop in and see it for yourself.

Covid has made a big difference, no kids stuff. Use to be the most amazing place to take children too. Nothing for them at all any more. Although I liked showing them the modern Indigenous art. Very cool collection.
