Excellent exhibits. Good amenities. Excellent gift shop

We only got to see part of the gallery, but there's plenty of interesting and creative works on display. We really enjoyed it.

A great place to explore simply. There is a paid exhibition on the first floor and the free exhibition on the other floor. The promenade outside the museum is also very good, so if you have time, I recommend taking a walk.

Disappointing for us but a wonderful building. Not our type of art though!

Impressive free gallery. Lots of interesting art pieces. Easily spent 2hours here, could have spent more if it were emptier. Lots of families visiting. Tube slides were crazy. Great experience for people interested in art and design.

Contemporary Art that doesn't just try and freak you out. Thought provoking, inspiring and beautifully curated

The only thing that would make the GOMA better would be not having to pay for visiting exhibits such as marvel. Makes it quite expensive as a family. Would also be great if giant rainbow block installations didn't then have a no touching sign. These are very alluring to toddlers and just at their height. She was most disappointed not being able to interact with it. Surely art placed near the kids section could be interactive ?

Some great stuff sadly most of it was shut off when we arrived due to refurbishment, so did get to see it all.

Amazing!!! Ran into local celebrity Jacob Francis Worrall who was singing a raunchy song about the difference between Noosa and Burleigh! Can't believe he was in red dog!

Constantly changing, always stimulating. Great day out & good food in the cafe/restaurant overlooking the river.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good mix of Australian and international art.
In my opinion it's a little pretentious but that's not unusual for art galleries.
Free tours are a great addition.

Great art gallery and museum to visit while you are in Brisbane. Dont Forget every tuesday there is a toddlers day to bring your kids. I love how they put the exhibits. Great place to visit!

This gallery is always has something to see. I always love the water pond and what they have attached to it. At the moment , the Queensland Art Gallery is getting ready for the next art installation, which is always amazing to see. And it's air-conditioned forgot summer's day in Brisbane

Yeah it was great, probably more bikes in the carpark..lol Get your Covid check in App ready so you don't hold up the que if your not tech savy.
Nice staff well laid out. Ducati was the stand out bike on the day but im biased for Italian bikes.

I'm not usually a big fan of art galleries, but I happily spent several hours here. The galleries are open & spacious, and the staff are both approachable and helpful. Special kudos to the bookstore staff for their willingness to help.

Interesting museum. No entry fee and free bag storage available. Spacious, clean and air conditioned with a broad range of artworks

Not a fan of visiting museums however found this place totally envigorating

I love GOMA! So fun, and free!
My friends and I go there pretty much every school holidays, they always have fun new exhibits.
Easy to get to with public transport (South Brisbane train station or Cultural Centre bus station)
Well air-conditioned

Not a bad gallery, some boring native parts. But other than that it was quit good.

Always something interesting here. Free entry. $16 all day parking nearby. Many comfy seats. The shop and cafe are great.

Attracts a youthful crowd with amazing artworks. Definitely worth a look for a day out.

A visit to the Motorcycle exhibit is a definite gift from Santa

Great Exhibition on for Dues Ex Machina when I went so was amazing...

Exhibit was amazing and staff were friendly and helpful.

Interesting place to view works of modern artists. More suitable for adults than children.

Nice little niche art collection. May not be at the scale of National Gallery of Victoria, but the overall design in terms of layout, spacing and decoration speaks of confidence and dedication in the local and regional art scene.

Brilliant display. Spent 2.5 hours there was so captivating time just flew.

The Janet Holmes a Court and Albert Namajera exhibitions were fabulous to see. What a wonderful exhibition of aboriginal art that has contibuted to Australia's riches

Quite a large museum with different exhibitions on each floor, it is advisable to spend a couple of hours visiting this place.

A fun outing with children whilst in Brisbane. A super hot day and the gallery provided welcome relief and so much fun with the current exhibits.

I recommend Margaret Ollie and Ben Quilty's exhibition to everyone. I appreciated both very much.

Great art. Also a relaxing place in the city even if you are not into art.

If you a lucky enough to have a function on the top floor! Just amazing view and great place to have a snack and drink a beer!

Amazing place and wonderful staff - enjoyed the new exhibition and loved working with them last year with my film crew.

I only saw one exhibition but everything was easy to find and the staff very helpful. I hope to return one day

Attended amazing International Motorcycle Exhibition. Well worth the drive from Sunshine Coast. I walked across Victoria Bridge and had some trouble locating as the first visit to QGOMA.

I love this gallery! So many interesting exhibits, many of them interactive. I liked the "vibe" this place had, too - very positive. I didn't get to spend enough time here so I'll definitely be back.
