The issue I had was I spent 20 minutes in a line and once I got closer to the door, a staff member then advised anyone with prepaid move to the right.

Yet 3 staff walked down with the QR code AND NOT ONE mentioned if you have a prepaid ticket please move to the front of the door.

There was no signage for prepaid ticket holders and no need to be waiting in line. Very poor service considering you had plenty of staff on.

The exhibition was fantastic that was 10 stars.

The fam and I love this place. Continually getting new exhibitions in which are always fantastic. Looking forward to the next visit.

A must visit for your trip to Brisbane. Its major exhibitions are usually a special treat

What a superb gallery. As a visitor to Brisbane it was a beautiful way to spend a few hours with my daughter learning, admiring & chatting about the works.

Airconned, has art, free.

Its a nice building and exhibitions are fun. We managed to catch an interactive one with Lego.

I'm not an art guy and I'll admit I entered on a whim to get out of the sun. Once inside the AC encouraged me to have a bit of a wander as I cooled off. I ended up exploring the entire gallery and really enjoyed some of the pieces. There is great diversity and I'd encourage anyone to have a look around.

Really enjoyed the food at the GOMA restaurant. I will definitely be back.

The Marvel exhibit was also fun. I was surprised by the size of the exhibit and the number of items on show.

Great place when they are showing something that you want to see

Way out there, way in there. Doesn't have to just be art critics. Plenty of family areas, interesting and beautiful art both painted and constructed. Many cinema areas both for viewing pleasure and, if i am honest, a place to sit and rest sore feet. Strongly recommended for dates, singles, families and those wanting to expand their world (everyone really). Go in with an open mind, or not, and enjoy everything they have on offer. Also, the staff have a good knowledge of the art so remember to ask if it doesn't make sense. And remember- it's free, and for those wanting to escape the heat the air con is really really good! I would this recommend any day!

An exciting and immersive experience that is great for all ages

Wonderful place. Love the quiet spaces where you can just sit and look around. Plenty of exhibits, most are free. The cafe is nice but a little expensive. You can bring your own picnic, plenty of room outside.

Always something to see - even if the exhibitions have been there for a few months. I like that there is always something interactive and has fantastic views for us to relax in when taking a break.

Free entry, nice to visit every few months or if you're visiting Brisbane. Interesting works of art and plenty of variety.

Some nice classical art, but it's pushed all to the back. Unfortunately theres a lot of focus on modern """art"""

Amazing display of motorcycles, Design, art from early century bikes to modern, over 100 bikes . Go see this before it's finished.

Great place to have a date, chill, a lone time and family outing

Beautiful cool air conditioned space with great picture window and balcony views of the river and cbd - but where was the ART ?

The only art I saw was Indonesian or Thai !

Urg- spent so much on fancy building they couldn t afford or find any Queensland artists?!

Not a good look for Brisbane- if you want to fix that- suggest start by asking the local black fellas that used to hangout in Musgrave Park- find some indigenous art from the local area- then you d have something to be proud of- not just a culture fail display of South East Asian art ... (cringe/shudder)

My take away feeling- that s 20 minutes of my life I ll never get back ...

Parking is hard to find and we paid $26 to park at South Bank Parkade. The walk to GOMA was beautiful and interesting. We absolutely loved the exhibitions and interactive activities - this is a very popular museum buzzing with families and connoisseurs. We loved the mobile charging area under the stairs and the shop was packed full of merchandise for your perusal.

Wonderful for a cheap and whimsical day out. Pity there isn't enough parking nearby even on a weekday, but the gallery itself is full of amazing works. This was my second visit and I was impressed.

Such a beautiful spot to all around! Always have kid friendly exhibits on that gets them interested in the arts. Free cloak room service. Parking underneath is $17 flat rate for the day.

The GOMA is a must visit while in Brisbane. Also next door is the Queens Gallery and the Brisbane library. Once finished here you can walk along the river.

Would have been terrific, but I had no idea it would be soooooooo ridiculously busy.

Great place although dont fall asleep on the louges in the lobby, they don't like that .

Was very impressed with the indigenous section & the books & other items they had on sale. The cafe wasn't cheap, but offered a pleasant place 2 have a cuppa & rest.

Wonderful inviting place with a range of excellent art from indigenous art works to ancient and modern sections. Loved the various spaces and in particular the water features. Lovely outdoor area by cafe as well to enjoy.

Beautiful place to visit with kids. Yet the parking cost seems alot thus we parked the car a bit far from the area with 3dollars for one and half hour and time consuming.

Very nice exhibitions, free !!! Perfect for all ages since the museum offers interactive exhibits! Not to miss !

Brisbane is lucky to have such a world class gallery like GoMA.

Great for a walk around with the kids.. it is a great precinct and always has something different going on.

Always impressive if you get the timing right on exhibitions. Nothing more frustrating than half the gallery closed off for installation of next exhibition.

If you're looking for art in Brisbane, then this is your place. Friendly staff and great atmosphere with parking or walking distance from the CBD.

It have too many work of art, but everything is free. Almost work of art is beautiful. I really like here.

Love the atmosphere and have good connection with water. The architecture and decoration accords with projects. This is Art Gallery!

Stunning space and a superb asia pacific triennial which showcases a fair bit of indigenuous art from the Pacific which is hardly seen in the rarified contemporary art circles.

Motorbike exhibit was good, plenty of bikes and history to see.

The dual slides are a lot of fun, but get there early as a queue forms quickly. Many other great exhibits as well!
