It's free! There's hardly anything exciting or interesting to do for free these days SO get your butt on over to Goma and support all the jaw dropping talent. Don't forget to visit the giftshop to check out the local books and crafts. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good day out.

When in Brisbane the QAGOMA is a must. It sits right in the cultural precinct of Brisbane right alongside the Southbank recreational area. The building is severe on the outside but blends well with its situation. It is multilevel with a carpark below. The cafe is worth checking out for coffee or lunch. Of course the art is the star attraction. The exhibits change regularly and emcompase not just local works but some fine internation exhibits like Picasso and Heprowrh. Plenty of seating inside to relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. You will enjoy your visit so go.

Huge spaces which were mostly empty of art or under construction. The few peices of art that were there was of low quality, with some exceptions.
Hideous building built in 2008 but already falling apart and visibly decaying on the outside. Amusing to see several patrons had fallen asleep during a film being displayed. Skip this one for somewhere else!

This is a fresh modern building that is fully air-conditioned for those hot Brisbane days with interesting art on display and very helpful staff. The venue works off donations so if your broke and want to enjoy some culture then this the place to come people.

Please listen to the likes of the museum. There are many works to watch. There are quite a few Australian Aboriginal works. It's also cute here. Elementary kids can draw pictures and there are also participation programs.

We went to see the motorcycle exhibition. It was pretty cool. The kids enjoyed the interactive parts and art section. We had lunch at the Cafe underneath. The food was really awful so I'd recommend going somewhere else to eat.

A great setting and interesting building, this is worth a visit while in town. Don't expect anything similar to European galleries, but for an Australian gallery, this is quite good. I'm more a fan of classical art than modern, so if you're the same, then you might be disappointed. That said, the classical art in the gallery is worth seeing, as they have a few very well known names on display. Head over and have a quiet stroll.

Relevant architectural structure with remarkable photographic views and views of the river and city. The collections on display are interesting and very video-oriented. FREE admission every day so it is absolutely worth a stop of an hour or more. There is currently a second paid exhibition ($ 15) called Water.

Marvel Cinematic display very well designed, shame there was only one piece of comic book art. Lots of digital prints. They had only a small display of comic books. They were key issues the general public would have never seen. More is always better.

Great art gallery with a diverse and impressive collection. It is well curated with great explanations. Atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. Spaces are large so you can really appreciate the art work. Plenty of seating to take it all in. Shop has a great selection of reference books. Plus it is free to go in. Great way to spend a couple of hours on the south bank of Brisbane.

First up I have not seen the motorcycle exhibition in person but wanted to express my disappointment that the helmet is displayed with the offensive Language and image on it.
This is supposed to be a family expedition I had arranged to take my grandsons to it but will not now.
I have a nephew and grandson both Qld policemen and I feel ashamed that this could be displayed.
There is often art displayed that makes you wonder why but this take the wonder to a whole new level.

It make me wonder why I am a member os such an organisation.
