When I saw the photos of the museum, I view a exposition of Iron Man and Capitan American, but when I went to the museum the staff told me it was one or two years ago, I think its necessary to deleted this photos because this make people get confuse.

The curators have done a wonderful job, but surely they could do more with the space they have. They need to integrate their spaces more. The collection is great and the presence of a cinematheque is awesome for Brisbane.

This place is amazing. The entire surrounding area is beautiful next to the Brisbane River and both GOMA & QAG (Queensland Art Gallery) are wonderful. There is plenty of art for any art lover and you can catch many amazing exhibitions for free where you'd normally expect to pay. If you fancy yourself an artist or a frequent visitor of art galleries you wont be disappointed. Although both the Modern Art and Art Gallery buildings have plenty of art, I found myself preferring the QAG. The building was not as large and perhaps did not contain as much artwork but it was definitely more cultural and the layout was more open with waterscapes and fantastic architecture. Treat yourself to a nice walk from the QAG to the State Library of Queensland (which lies in between the QAG and GOMA) then finish with GOMA if you haven't had your fill of art for the day.

Very pleasant and good space. People watch art and take a break here. If you come to Brisbane, please visit here and enjoy good works for free. It will be a very valuable opportunity. Art works are wonderful and wonderful.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe exhibition is really awesome. They have about 500 props from all the movies. As a student I paid 20 dollars, so very reasonable for 2 hours of entertainment!

Goma is great. The permanent collection has a bunch of interesting and awe inspiring works, the regular exhibitions cover a whole range of topics and styles, and the kids area is tons of fun for kids of all ages.

Great on your own, great for a date, great with the family and the air con on a hot day is amazing.

This place is not really that interesting, unless you go for the interactive pasting artwork that when many people paste, you will really see a overall nice piece of artwork. Not really for kids. They confirm will be bored there.

We went and saw the expedition on the lady that is obsessed with dots and it was excellent. And all of it was completely free. Goma is great to go to as they often change there exhibits so it is great to go ton once every 2 months or so. If you have a spare day on Brisbane than it is great to go to. Would highly recommend.

Brisbane's best gallery by far, but not quite world class. I've often been very impressed but I've never been blown away like you would expect to be at The Met or MOMA or another "global gallery".

I've had many a good day here, one of my favorite places in Brisbane. Excellent collection of international and local artwork with the main collection displayed chronologically. The cafe/restaurant is pretty good, highly recommend the baked ricotta. Decent selection of alcohol and good coffee available. The two gift shops are worth a look.

Visiting this gallery is a must when you are in Brisbane especially during bad weather. Their ongoing motorcycle exhibition featuring 100 motorcycles from past to present (thanks for the generous private collectors!) is the highlight of the whole experience. You don't have to be a motorcycle lover to appreciate them. The designs are amazingly impressive!
