Really amazing display. This is one of my favourite places in the city and is constantly changing. There is always high quality exhibitions, and so much variety. There is a really good children's section that will keep them busy. This is a really impressive building and location that I highly reccomend.

Visited this place last year with my family. The place has lots of things to see and learn. There are areas where kids can play or do some activities to better appreciate the items found in the gallery. They also offer some free movie shows on Friday nights. It is very entertaining and wonderful especially since it is free

Well worth a visit. Many large installations. Note that bags have to be checked in so if you have young kids, pack stuff in the buggy. There is a kids area with arty activities which was very popular when we visited.

It's my happy place - so take a moment and see if it's yours, too! Great parking, gluten-free vegan options available in the cafe near the library (not just hot chips!), reasonably priced touring exhibitions and located at Southbank which is always a great place for a meander and/or swim.

An amazing place for all the art lovers. A place to get a hint of global art with all the audacious and vivid art works. Apart from the huge place dedicated to showcase the art, the Queensland Art Gallery building, in itself is a brilliant piece of Architecture. An iconic and must-visit place in Brisbane.

Very neat and clean, artworks are presented well. Exhibition gallery feels too big for the amount of work displayed (not enough artworks) but overall adequate food options at the cafes and interesting gift shops.

What an amazing experience, learnt so much. The exhibition was well designed and set out. Loved the information to explain what each exhibit was and how and where the location.
Very much loved the pond with all the life size animals so very real with the sand.
Definitely worth another visit, especially for children.

Visited during the school holidays, expected it to be busy. This wasn't a problem. The $60 we paid to get in was. We spent around 30 minutes inside. The display wasn't terribly vast. Not enough interactive stuff to keep patrons in there longer and what was there was being hogged by the little kids. The gift shop at the end was practically empty and what was there was crappy. Not worth what we paid. Had a better adventure further up the road at a different venue which was way cheaper. Sad, as the kids were looking forward to the Marvel display.

Marvel exhibit was excellent. Alot of attention to detail with the displays and the setups. The layout was nice to. I do wish there were more interactive pieces other then the kinect and a sound booth. Overall pretty good experience.

A must visit when in Brisbane! The AC could be less high, but overall a great experience with helpful staff. I love visiting galleries when travelling overseas, especially coming from Europe. The exhibition was great and inspiring.

South Bank of Brisbane, Australia. Now there are ferries, universities, libraries, and financial districts along the river, which are the origins of urban development. There is also a jogging track.

The GOMA is one of the best places to go in Brisbane- it's where we take out of town guests, we take the kids on their birthdays and on the holidays. The exhibits are always really well thought out and I love seeing the different artists they bring in!

While public and free spaces like Goma are incredibly important to the education and cultural development of a city, Goma can go one of two ways. As modern art can often leave a lot to interpretation, it is difficult to tell which particular works will appeal to the broader public, meaning that you can either have a great experience, or be left feeling disappointed. Yayoi Kusama is an artist often featured at the Gallery, and is always incredibly fun and popular with younger people. I would recommend checking the website to see which exhibitions are on display before you visit, so you can decide if it's worth the trip.
