This was the quickest visit I had. Everyone was so nice and helpful!

I had covid. Made me wait outside. Wanted to do evey blood and urine test possible even though I expressed my concerns because I have no health insurance. So I asked for something for nasuea and some IV fluids. The PA Lindsey Speer said it all or nothing. So I had to walk out and wait until the next day to see my family doctor. I wouldn't take my dog here. RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!! I will followup later as I'm currently contacting the state licensing board and hospital administration!!!!!

Doesn't even deserve 1 star worst hospital in the United states period and that's bad coming from someone who has dealt with the VA hospitals this place needs to be shut down permanently and replaced with a IHOP at least we would be able to get a decent meal lol I would not return even if I where bleeding to death from a gunshot wound you would be better off plugging the hole yourself and driving to flagler hospital 45 minutes away

Nurse took my vitals, I waited 30 minutes for doctor to laugh at me and tell me there's nothing they can do. He did however bring two med students whom he didn't introduce to gawk at me, so offensive. Fast forward to the bill for over $2000. Also your hospital chaplain pastor or whatever shouldn't feel comfortable touching strangers it's very intrusive. I'd rate you zero, and I can see why much of the reviews are so very negative, how do you expect almost $3000 for not treating me but instead insulting me?? They should be investigated.

Everyone was pleasant and efficient. Have had my mammograms done here for years and they are consistently great.

Well the procedure went smoothly then I asked when I would get my results and I was told easily within 48 hours. Now the bad part, it's been over 3 weeks now and I still haven't gotten my results. I was then thinking well maybe it's because of billing , wrong , because I prepaid in full and I've already gotten my paper receipt by mail. Needless to say I'm really disappointed in our joke of a health care system. Really over 3 weeks and nothing. I've called my primary care not once not twice but 3 times for my results and yet again they assured me that someone would be contacting me. Hopefully someone will actually read this but I doubt it. I was going to give 0 stars

Well, I never have had any problems with the doctors or nurses, they have treated me very well. The place has gotten alot better. Thank You Doctors and Nurses for your care.

I had a 3 day stay due to complications due to Covid. The ER staff were very efficient and caring. The nurses and doctors were great. I had great nurses during my stay in the hospital. Very attentive and caring. Great job!

We've all heard horror stories about emergency room visits, but I can honestly say there was nothing negative about my visit...(ok, well the swollen tongue, hives, etc weren't fun!).
Everyone attending to me was professional, personable, and thorough!! No grumpy staff, just really pleasant capable staff. Thanks to all there for making a bad situation much better!

Sy'Rhonda the nurse was amazing and caring. Dr. Kumar even checked up on me which shows he cares for his patients. Jungenberg PA and Dr. Hood was one track to the point and both ordered what exactly it was that I needed to find out what was wrong with me. An Amazing team. Answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable. The wait wasn't bad at all considering it was a Saturday and especially being Hog Waller weekend. Tzhis place has definitely made a turn around for the best!! It's definitely not like it was before, I highly recommend it !
The Ultrasound tech & the CT/X-ray tech were also amazing and helped make sure I was comfortable! !

The whole experience was very good from start to finish professional and friendly made me feel very relaxed and calm

I was surprised to see that flagler hospital now sucks and palatka is now amazing. Really surprised, nice to see palatka hospital finally stepped it up.

Everyone from the checking desk to the techs who did the cat scan were kind, respectful and considerate.

Went in with paulse rate 120 and the nurse had a attude and looked like she had other things to do

All the nursing staff in the ER & on second floor were phenomenal. No complaints!

It was my first time using PCMC, and I had a great experience. The Staff is as very friendly and knowledgeable. I live in Keystone Heights, and it was well worth the drive.

Got here last night at 6:30 pm with my mom she was not admitted until 12:30 pm. During this time she was given no meds for pain or an IV even though they stated she was dehydrated. Her monitor keeps going off she pushes the button, it takes someone 15 minutes to come.
This has happened multiple times!!

Everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped through the doors. Since it was our first visit, there was someone to guide us each step of the way. A very non stressful visit!

I was in for routine bloodwork. The safety precautions in place were excellent. The service was quick, and professionally administered. Thank you PCMC!

This is the most incompetent hospital I have ever come in contact with. I went into their sleep lab and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. That was in July now at the end of October they still can't get the CPAP machine authorized. It seems to be that they just can't get the forms properly completed so that it can be authorized by Medicare. They do not return my calls or offer any explanation. DO NO GO THERE. It is not that far to drive to another hospital.

Staff was very friendly and caring. Very short wait time.

Some people find this "just fine" and it is if you just habe a sprained ankle. I on ther other hand had a miscarriage and felt like I should have made the drive to Flagler instead. There was no radiologist on site when needed, and the staff were not comforting in any fashion. At one point i felt like i had to go to the bathroom and dripped blood all way there and back. While standing and shouting for help, because i didn't want anyone to slip, it took time to get anyone's attention. Terrible place for emergencies, but it's changed hands since i was last there. Hopefully it has improved and they have staff with better bedside manners.

No accountability there your car needs diagnostic so does a human especially at a Er hope you can get to Gainesville no good care Putnam Er

I was told by nurse that I couldn't have my kids there. I'm a single mom with no friends. I was in car accident 7/1 and my neck had really been hurting and have nowhere else to go

Being in the area only a few years I have been to the ER a few times always good experience. My husband was just in there for 4 days. All staff from housekeeping to the doctors were so awesome. They kept us informed and someone always came by to check and see if we need anything. The rooms wew clean. I talked to one of the nurses and told her the horror stories and she said they have changed a lot and still working on getting better.... they deserve a chance Thank you to all of u

I was treated respectfully and quite well. My only reservation is that I was NOT told the Dx. When I checked my record on the portal I found that I had a concussion without loss of consciousness. Until I could get that I couldn't handle the symptoms I was till having. Knowing meant I could stress less over the issues. Because of less stress the issues are lessening daily. Please express to the Doctors that it is a lot less stressful if the patient knows what to expect.

The medical staff was very attentive and caring to both my husband and I. We were there for an upper respiratory infection. They are very caring and make you feel like they care.

ER Triage nurse was lacking personality and warmth... In fact, she was rude. Terribly bothered to have had to help someone.

I went to PCMC Emergency Center on a Sunday morning. I didn't know what was wrong with me, I couldn't breathe deep breaths and center chest pains. They did an ultrasound and called an ambulance to take me to Gainesville. I really appreciate the quick service and appreciate sending me where I needed to go.

Was treated poorly by the doctor the nurse treated me better than the doctor the doctors seem to not care about my health if we had transportation I would have gone to UF health in Gainesville

I was brought to Putnam by the rescue who I thought were excellent in there care. Their reasoning made good sense, as I was in A F I B, which could be very dangerous. The emergency room was very good, but the whole idea was to stabilize me then send me to. Flagler Med where my Car do Dr. practice.
I was in the ER from 4pm till 11 pm. Then admitted and moved to a room where I could be monitored. At some point a cardioligest was assigned to me who by there statement was part of my Dr s group. I thought that if my Dr was comfortable with this I was OK. Wrong! The Dr was with a group supported by the Hospital , with a name very similar to my Dr,s group. He preformed a procedure that in the past was out patient, and I was kept in the Hospital another day.Then a Dr. Who I had never seen, or even heard his name said I needed to stay another day for another unrelated problem( brought on by unneeded treatment).. By this time I had found out the Dr was not affiliated with mine, I felt misled, lied to and had no faith in the Dr.s or the Hopital. I will admit the care by the nurses was excellent and very supportive. But all I wanted was out of there. I will go to St Aug. and my Dr. S next time even if rescue won't take me. Thomas Johnson

All went well, people were all helpful and very nice, right up to the needle picrcing my arm. Even that was not bad, these new needles really cause no pain, so I guess all was good , thanks.

The labor and delivery department is awesome, doctor's and staff are very caring, helpful and attentive. The restaurant on site has an awesome breakfast and lunch, and is low priced.

Would rate it lower but can't we have been waiting here for over hour an half they keep telling us there's no rooms but people keep going back and no one is coming back to waiting room

My mom has been here for 6 days and the staff and care has been excellent. Hospital has been here a while, so it's not shiny and new, but that's now what's important

I called to get a friend's room number, the operator obviously does not like her job. She was cold, and when I asked her to repeat the room number she just transferred me.

Very nice they were curtious and gave me vouchers to get free meals to the cafeteria. Free meals were given because of a mix up in scheduling. The staff took great care of me.

I just left there without being seen in the ER. I had to sit in a wheelchair for over an hour after I told them i couldn't sit up I needed to lay down because my hip replacement was in trouble. I have not been able to put weight on my right leg all day. I was told that I would have to wait longer before they could find a bed for me. I have had nothing but problems with 3 hip replacements that was done at your facility for 2 years now. I really thought that after there was a new person in charge things would be different but it's not.

I have tried to call you but I don't get an answer every time. So I see nothing has changed.

Much improved with new ownership. ER and Women's services with lots of upgrades. Will receive warm one on one care that you can't find in bigger hospitals.

I have an elderly friend that had her knee replaced on Tuesday 6/25/19. She has had substandard care since she came out of recovery. The nurses when she calls them for help or when she s in pain they come in turn the light off and say they ll be right back I witnessed this happen. Her IV bag needed to be changed (the alarm was going off) it took over 2 hours for them to change it. Her monitor in her room stated to keep her pain level below a 6 she said it s been at a 10 for hours today 6/26/19. She needs help and not getting it. The reason I am writing this is 1 she can t and 2 I want her to speak to a patient advocate or something. These nurses are not doing a good enough job!

If you get injured in this Area,do not come to this hospital, go to Jacksonville or wait to go to a hospital in the area you live.

If you are from this area,I recommend a different hospital.

In and out within 20-30 minutes with a serious injury and they suggest I just go see my own doctor,literally the biggest waste of time and money.

Operator was rude, I asked a question about other hospitals that Putnam may be affiliated with and he stated in a stern voice "What is it that I'm Looking for!"...so I asked to be transferred to another department which happened to be the Lab and they were Nice and Helpful unlike the Operator.

I felt like I was a victim of patient profiling, I understand there is alot of abuse these days but I'm not a abuser ,I take what is needed as needed for my every day chronic pain, I went to the er and was told by the doctor (female) taking my blood and checking my urine I was diagnosed by that instead of having the xrays , mri or cat scan for my prior injures because she stated oh yah have been here for similar injures before so I'm not sending me to have any xrays mri of cat scan , which in my case something new has changed with my injures and how i hurt myself and I was only given a muscle relaxent and antiflismorty and then was discharged. The nurse on duty was way more helpful and concerned and took care of me the doctor Nicole jaques was very rude , had attitude and judged me

I have had several recent visits to this location lately and I am very pleased. All employees and volunteers are wonderful. Very little wait times.

On the advice of my physician, I went to the medical center's emergency room with some chest pain to be checked out. I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff were competent, friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. Everyone I saw thoroughly explained all procedures and results of tests they were running. Not one time did I have reason to question competency. The facility was spotless and the staff seemed to be genuinely interested in every patient they had in the facility. In my experience it doesn't get better than that.

Everyone treated me with respect and concern. Their professional and caring manner helped me to deal with an urgent situation. I would trust them with any health care issues that would affect my wellbeing in the future.

I went to the ER and found it to be the most efficent ER i have ever been to. I am not from florida and i would highly recommend them rhe nurses and doctors were very professional, great bedside manor and very kind. I have never expirenced such organization before in any ER. I especially appreciated the fact that i was not there very long and did not have to wait for tests to be done, extremely efficent. When i am back in this area i would not hesitate to use them should the need arise. All i can say is a job very well done

The facility was nice. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Dr. Hill was very good. Dr. Hill followed through with all the things he said. Home Health Care have come by & done the evaluations. And my leg wounds have been treated with the Una Boots.

Dr. Hill also called in my two prescriptions. The Dr. at Flagler in St. Augustine didn't. I have a much higher opinion of Dr. Hill then whoever was at Flagler.

I was quite happy with my care givers at Putnam C.M.C. ER.

If i could give zero stars i would... this place is crap. They dont take care of people just throw a wrap on it and send you out of the door this is the third broke bone they said isnt broke. Also cant tell when someone is having a heart attack... you people are horrible. I went to the bathroom amd there was a bed pan still full.... mold on floors

I have never been treating with such disrespect by a physician in my life. I was in severe pain in my throat and Dr mark sbarro squeezed my throat so hard it choked me and I was in such pain for hours afterwards they didn't check amythi g and told me I shouldn't be there but a a regular doctors office

Went in for lower back pain and abdomen pain turned out I had a bad kidney infection and low potassium I had to have an IV drip for 3 days in which all the IVs I had failed and a nurse blew one of my veins trying to put in another one which also failed and while they were taking my blood they would poke the same spot over and over again which left this really nasty bruise which is still there. When I asked about a shower it took my doctor a whole day to approve of it and whenever I asked for my pain medicine I'd have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for it and by that time I was in tears because of the pain. I'd never go back there.

I was treated excellent with professionalism and well taken care off. Thanks to all that night.

I thought it was fairly speedy for an ER visit. Admit and nurses were all very considerate for the most part. What I think is a sad thing is how pain medication is treated. I understand how some people can be.. bad apples and such. I was just in quite a bit of pain but everyone was unconcerned about it until they saw the X-ray to see my tibia was fractured and then they allowed it to be given. All the abuse out there leaves people with legitimate need feeling like criminals.
I was advised by the person who took my insurance info that there would be a 20% discount to pay while there or to receive a bill later, but once all was completed I was not given an opportunity to pay there so I guess no discount! I asked about it but got some I don t knows and there s no one over there now and things like that. I was willing.. but.. people get busy, I know.

how this place has anything above 1 star is beyond me. This place is just like putnam county and palatka in a nutshell, completely horrible in every regard. I went in once after waking up at 3am in the morning have immense hot and cold chills, literally going from sweating for 30 seconds to absolutely freezing the next 30 seconds. Doctor came stumbling in looked like he just rolled out of bed, put the stethoscope on me and looked in my ear and said "you're as healthy as a horse." Left the place and went somewhere else I can't remember and found out I had a serious issue and was on top of that suffereing severe dehydration. I'm not sure what's worse, this "hospital" that is clearly owned by the mafia being my best guess, or the county and town it resides in. Iraq has better hospitals

I was scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram. After i signed in, I was asked to wait in the lobby. The receptionist preceded to call out to another employee wanting to know if anyone had the order foe this diagnostic mammo because she couldn't do anything without the order for the diagnostic mammogram. Now everyone in the lobby knew why I was there. HIPPA.
After I was called back, the technician was explaining what I needed to do to get ready for the procedure, the receptionist came through the door talking telling me what I needed to pay. RUDE.
Because of this interruption, I didn't get all the information I needed from the technician.

Our daughter recently had her gallbladder removed at PCMC and she received amazing care and treatment. Dr. Salzman was her surgeon and he went above and beyond to make sure that she received nothing but the best care. The nursing staff were all informative and caring, warming all of our hearts during such a scary and emotional time. I would highly recommend Dr. Salzman and staff! Thank you to all who worked with and on our daughter!

The staff at Putnam Community Medical Center are just amazing. They are so friendly and caring. They really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to be as comfortable as possible. The nursing staff should be commended especially. This hospital has really stepped up their level of care and compassion. The doctors are pretty amazing too. I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to Dr. Feibelman. He is hands down the best doctor I ve seen. Thank you PCMC, you have really upped your game.

My mom is in there. Nurses and most staff are great. My concern is there is only one doctor visit during day and no one ever knows if its morning or afternoon. Most hospitals have a morning and afternoon review of patients. Slower medicine if the Drs aren't reviewing the situation enough! Frustrating because my parents are seniors and delays aren't good for father's health either since he is there by her side.

Prompt attention, not a long wait at all! worker was very considerate of my comfort and privacy. Facility was clean and fresh. Social distancing was in practice. We did not have to sit in front of other chairs taped over which added to the comfort I felt.

Worst hospital ever. Sit there for over four hours and they take three others back that came in way after me. Sit in pain and throwing up.

Misdiagnosed. Unfriendly staff. Triage nurse was rude. Only friendly person was a nurse in training. Other than that I Do Not Recommend.

A week ago I visited this facility with a friend who was having surgery. The check in process went very smoothly and very efficient. The OR team was great and kept me very well informed. The reason for the low rating is while waiting for the surgery in the main lobby, I was embarrassed for the hospital for the lack of professionalism on behalf of the lady at the front door taking temperatures, a security guard, and a lady that kept coming out of an office by the front door. I would have thought I was in a high school hallway by their behavior.

Over the past several months I have had a lot of procedures done at PCMC. At first I was apprehensive about dealing with this hospital but now I wouldn't hesitate to go there. Everyone was caring and professional.

My 100 year old mother was taken to Putnam hospital on Friday the 24th of January 2020 at about 11:30 with Aspiration Pneumonia and a UTI. That was verified in the ER. They admitted her that afternoon to room 218. She did not have a bowel movement over the weekend so they gave her a suppository Monday or Tuesday and she had small BM but never enough to be completely normal. She was still constipated after she got home. Most everybody was very nice and helpful as they tended to my mother. This morning, Thursday, she started throwing up and was still constipated and could not have a BM so my daughter gave her another suppository about 12:00 noon. At 8:30 this morning we gave her an anti-biotic with food. We have notified Dr. Gaines' office for advice.

My visit to the ER was a pleasant experience. The staff was pleasent to be around and they did everything possible to help me in my time of need. The only reason I rated a 4 is because after a couple hours of being home a lady called me for payment telling me my two hour visit there was over $14,000 and if I paid right then I could get a discount. I explained to her that $14,000 seemed a little high for what I had done. She then asked what I had done and I told her a cat scan. At that point she told me that's why the bill is so much. Today my insurance company informed me I was charged $248 for the cat scan....really confused

Was transported to this hospital for a complication from another location. Had to lay on a gurney over 10 hours waiting to be transferred to the other hospital. Lousy communication here.

This wanna be Hospital is no good I went in with my 1 year old son who had a fever of 105 and this Place Did Nothing we where there for 3 hrs it's 1230 and i am getting ready to head to Flager Hospital ..Staff Was No Where To Be Found When U Needed Them Worst wanna be Hospital..

Previously I have given PCMC five stars due to consistent positive experiences, which I also reviewed. However, constructive feedback is needed for improvement. Today was a most negative experience in the surgical waiting room, as I waited for my husband . My first impression was small, cramped and overwhelmingly noisy. Perhaps more care can be taken as to sign on wall for only two guests per patient. Six people got up to leave as one, as a patient was discharged. It sounded like party central. One person was listening to videos on their phone at loud volume. What happened to silencing phones? I really wanted to take a chair and drag it out in the hall. My husband said he had a similar experience the last time he waited for me to have a procedure. Thank you PCMC for taking some steps to rectify this situation.

everyone was very courteous and efficient, no wait at all, taken back immediately and saw the dr without a long wait and was evaluated rapidly and discharged shortly after treatment/ was honestly impressed
