ER staff did not have a tourniquet, I had to put pressure on a bleeding artery on my best friend with my own hands because the nurse guy just stared at it then wandered around looking for a tourniquet. Meanwhile blood was shooting everywhere! My friend had already lost a huge amount of blood before getting to the ER, and lost another large portion before someone decided to make a makeshift tourniquet with a blood pressure cuff.

I thought that after the buy out this place would of been a hit better. I brought my daughter here with a potential broken arm, they were checking in people quite slowly for an "emergency" room so at some point I voiced my concern, as any father in my position would. Can you believe ultimately I ended up being asked to leave and had security and the cops called on me. It blew my mind! The officer had no issue with me because my voice was stern, but not raised and if so slightly. Not screaming or making a scene. My kid may have a broken arm and I want her seen immediately. Not 3-4 hours later! So naturally went to Flagler and got called back in 15 min. This hospital is trash, and it has always been trash.

With a couple minor cosmetic issues in the rooms, I was very comfortable and the staff couldn't have been nicer. My first room didn't have hot water to shower and the soap dispenser didn't work in the bathroom. My care however was great. Very attentive and always had what I needed.

Well I am RN. Have been for 10 years. My father went in for severe back pain after lifting several cinderblocks in his yard. My mother was histerical because he was on the ground and couldn't move. She called 911 and the medics had to pick him up and carry him into the ambulance.

I drove from south Florida nearly 4 hours away to get to him. He had pain medication in the ambulance because he was in dire agony. In the ER almost hours later he recieved Toradol and Valium. My dad begged me to get the PA to give him something else for pain because we all know Toradol does nothing.

I walked over and told the PA he was in agony and he finally ordered Dilaudid and a CT which I had to talk him into ordering because he said that it was not a trauma so their protocol would not allow him to get a CT. Then we had to ask the PA again if he could get a different pain medicine because he was still a pain scale of 10 when he would move just slightly.

They switched nurses and some long dread locked haired old nurse came in rudely and said I'm your new nurse and gave my dad his medicine.

So while he finally was able to move enough to slide over with a board into the CT he left. My mother and I walked out of the room and went outside to get some air. 10 minutes later we walk back in to see my dad.

We were then told VERY rudely by the dark curly haired woman at the front desk that only one person at a time could go see him. Even though we both were in there the whole time. Not to mention there were several people in each room visiting with other patients with children being able to walk around with gloves covering there heads acting a fool.

Well my mother went and I stayed behind. Seconds later my mother frantically came back out of the locked door and called my name and I went back there briskly to see what was wrong.

Then the old security guard followed me I and basically scolded me saying "I thought I told you that you couldn't come back here" I said no you said one at a time. Then I walked up to the curly haired woman at the front desk and asked if my mother came out could I go I to see my father. She said I will ask the nurse.

Of course no word from the rude lady about asking the nurse if I could go back so, I asked the security guard if my mother came out could i go in. He said we'll see in 15. So basically they discharged my dad literally right after his CT still in pain and could barely move. Every little bump in the ride made him moan in pain on the way home.

Ct showed bulging disks and degenerative disks L1-S2. Where I work, he would have been admitted with a diagnosis of intractable back pain until he was stable to go home.

Those PA, nurses and, security guards here are all horrible and rude. I wouldnt take my dog here. Tomorrow I'm writing a formal complaint.

I would not send my enemy to this hospital. They leave people in a room for 8 to 9 hours without a bathroom stall. Then what people ask for help or blanket a pillow you have nurses to have attitudes and I will be contacting a lawyer

This place was horrible! Went in having stroke symptoms they did there work up. Then a nurse came in to take vitals, looked at monitor, wrote it down, and walked out. The funny thing was I was not hooked up to anything to get current or accurate vitals. There is no neurologist here and so I had to take to a dr on a screen sitting omg his house. Meanwhile the nurse that was supposed to help this dr conduct tests kept walking out of the room and had to keep being called in to do them. I would not go back to this place if I was dying!

If I could give zero stars I would. The doctor I had was pathetic. Nurse busted my vessel trying to put an I.v. in. Did'nt run any tests but the urine sample and 1 out of 4 blood tubes. No scans or x-rays. Then discharge me without even telling me why i was in bad pain. I had to ask the nurse that was discharging me. They said I had an UTI. The way I was treated, I didnt trust their opinion. So next day I go to differnt hospital and was actually treated very well. And come to find out I had a bad kidney infection, that can cause perment kidney damage.

I am having an adverse reaction to COVID vaccine. I called the hospitals nurse on call system and after providing my information I was told there was an 8 minute wait and I needed to get there within the next 4 hours. I hung up got ready and went directly to the hospital. When I arrived the lot was full and as I approached I could see the entire waiting room was full to capacity. I went in and the admitting nurse had no idea what she was doing. I waited 1.5 hours for the triage nurse and the registrar to tell me to go home there was nothing they could do for me. I made a second trip back the next afternoon on directions from the CDC and again was told to go home there was nothing they could do for me. I had to threaten with a lawsuit before they would even give me an antibiotic.

My son and I had to go to the hospital to get tested for Covid. They wanted to give me an IV because I was dehydrated apparently. I told them I didnt want it and the doctor got an attitude and said they are just going to discharge me because of that.... she completely disregarded the fact that we needed to be tested and were feeling sick. This hospital just needs improvement especially with their patient care.

All was well until they gave me some medicine to lower my BP. I had, what I think, was some kind of adverse reaction (nausea, dizziness, confusion, couldn't form thoughts to describe what I was experiencing) My wife called in a nurse who then told me breathe calmly and then left the room. We were alone for almost 10 minutes before someone came back in. Then the doctor asked me whether he should admit me (isn't that his area of expertise?) and the nurse had quite a bit of attitude after I said I wanted to go home. She ripped off my leads and told me to leave (no paperwork or discharge papers/orders. Nothing!) without even pointing to the exit.
Very unprofessional IMHO and could have been dangerous.

I must say how pleasantly surprised I was. My brother was brought in by ambulance a week ago and was placed in the intensive care unit. He slipped quietly away this morning. The care he received while there was every bit as fine as in a big-city facility. I can't say enough for the staff. They treated us like part of their family. Thank you thank you thank you!

Extortion! A healthy uninsured 23 yr old male with a cyst goes in to ER for treatment & they Hand not mail hand him a bill for $14,720? Then they say if you pay 10% today, you won t owe anymore. Since when do they hand a patient an ER bill? They extorted $1500 out of us today. He s been there 8 hours and they re running
up bills they know he can t pay. So we pay it so he s not saddled with a $15,000 bill he can never pay cause he makes $8.00 an hour. What a bunch of crooks! They ve gotten their last cent out of my family. I will be calling my attorney tomorrow to see if this extortion is legal.

I have been going to Putnam for years. I think it is so much better since NF took over. Not to say I didn't like it before. I have gotten to know and love a lot of the people who work at Putnam. I still hear people say things not so nice about Putnam and I just tell them "maybe back then, but not now". Try it, give them a chance. They just might change your mind.

Took my daughter here because she stuck a Reeses piece in her nose. Yes she knows not to do those things but for some reason wanted to see if it would fit. She is 6 what can I say. When we got there we went right into a room because they weren't busy. A nurse looked up her nose and said I can't find it let me get a doctor. The doctor comes in and says I don't see it up there it may have melted or slipped I to a sinus pocket (not to mention he was very rough with her pushing her face back and forth and up and down). I can contact a specialist if you want. I said I want him to. After sitting there for 45 mins waiting for nothing he came in and said he could not get a hold of anyone and that they would be in with discharge paperwork. The lady came in to take our payment and said if you pay today it will only be $314.56 instead of four hundred and something. I said ok fine and paid the $314.56 that day. We got discharge paperwork that pretty much stated nothing because what can you do for a Reese's pieces in the nose that no one can find. Now 3 months later they want to send me a bill for an additional $607.80 for a Reese's pieces that was never found! If I am paying $1,000 for a Reese's piece I want it in a jar in my hand because other than that they did nothing to get $1,000 towards!!! They definitely up hold that reputation of being the a horrible hospital!! NEXT TIME GOING TO FLAGGLER HOSPITAL LIKE I WANTED TO AND I URGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME !!! Only went to this one because one of my friends work there and said things were changing and getting better.

Terrible! I wouldn't even bring my dog here.. Really dirty and staff was ridiculous. The doctor walking around acting like a little child and immature. How did he even get is license? How do they give you all this medication without you even taking a urine sample to check (IF) you pregnant or not and just nonchalant walk away when asked that question. I pray people choose wisely they hurt you here before the cure you...

Went here because I was dizzy and having trouble breathing. It took along time for the nurse to come in and when she did, she left to go chat with another associate. I was cold and had asked for a blanket. That took over 30 mins. I understand their busy however, when you leave your patient to just chit chat, that's a problem. I hope I will have better experiences in the future.

Never saw a Dr. The physicians assistant was rude. I was polite and answered the very limited questions she had. She never asked for family history, which I thought would have been relevant considering why I was there. No pelvic exam, no ultrasound or xray. It's like she latched onto an idea and that was that. She made me feel that I was wasting her time by being there. I understand that people have off days and work long shifts, and deal with things I cant imagine, I understand that they are people. With that said, I'm a person too. I also deserve the respect I show you. I came there to be helped not chastised and made to feel like I don't know things, this is exactly why I don't like going to drs. I heard what was said out at the desk, it's right there and your not quiet. This is not a great hospital which is frightening because its the closest hospital around.
