My registration with Bank Partners went smoothly thanks to my recruitment consultant Robert Miller! He is most definitely a credible and trustworthy individual. Since the start of my application with bank partners I have had a truly supportive and encouraging experience, he made sure I was kept updated with the process at all times. Robert is undoubtedly highly experienced, which is reflected in his work. He was thoroughly involved from start to end of my recruitment process and was willing to answer all types of questions, no matter how small. Thank you Robert for making me registration straight forward.

The administration of this company is a disaster, they give you wrong information, wrong answers wrong shifts, everything is a disaster, I don't giving them private emails to solve this problems will do anything.

The barts health team is bad but judging by the other reviews the other trusts being equally bad shows it is the company as whole that is bad.

But the administration of this company is a disaster I decided to quit because of the poor administration of this company.

The adminsitrators of this company seem all over the place not knowing what they're doing. It is a mixture of poor management and the adminsitrators themselves being bad.

The area of improvement for this company is bad administrators bad management bad organization amongst the worst staff who are admin there

I had a great experience with the recruiting process from bank partners. Many thanks to my recruiter Rob Miller he was excellent throughout. He was very nice, professional and always kept me updating on with the recruiting process. He was very reassuring and always able to answer any questions I had. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend applying for bank partners.

You would think that, whilst working from the comfort of their homes, Bank Partners staff will try their utmost best to support frontline workers during this pandemic by responding to email queries appropriately in a timely fashion.

All I want is to apply for holiday pay and no one seems to have answers, I have been emailing for 3 weeks (twice a week) and at first I was told it s not our department s job, contact so and so and now no response at all.

I don t think they realise the toll it takes working on the frontline and wanting to take paid leave just to have a breather and not worry about your bills being paid.

Everything else with them is ok, but the company does not seem to have transparency or take accountability when it comes to your holiday pay.

Registered to Barts Staff Bank with high hopes as they mentioned that there were full time roles going and that part time roles were rare. So was congratulated as passed the various tests that had to be taken prior and once all my reference checks were all cleared.
However, I have been with Barts Bank from August of this year and I haven't heard back from them. Haven't had one single shift with them. After several calls and chase ups and emails, I gave up. I'm lucky i'm someone who has a full time job but if you're the person who will quit your full time for this. I would say, with a resounding NO, DONT DO IT. They are a waste of your time and cannot be bothered to reply to emails to book shifts. So unprofessional and not accountable. Disgusting. Not worth your time.

I joined with high hopes and enthusiasm but my time with the staff bank has been a total disappointment. I have to constantly chase for available assignments and chase up those applied for (there is no 'easy electronic booking system' as stated in the recruitment blurb). I even see suitable assignments advertised by the bank on recruitment sites, but they are never flagged up to me.

I fully understand I will not be accepted for every role applied for, but my coordinator doesn't even have the courtesy to tell me, therefore I can never plan my time or accept other work as I don't know if I am booked or not.

On one occasion they 'forgot' to send me confirmation which resulted in the department thinking I had failed to turn up. Although (apparently) the coordinator told them it was her fault the department didn't want me after that. I therefore suffered loss of earnings, as I had turned down a role from an external agency when I received verbal assurance from the bank of my booking.

I have currently been waiting three days for confirmation of next week's assignment. I don't know what to do or whether to take other temp work.

Inefficiency, lack of communication and lack of general courtesy is what I have experienced from Bank Partners. A dreadful experience and enough is enough now. If Bank Partners don't want conscientious and skilled staff then I will find somewhere that does.

Worst company ever . Make promises to get you signed up and break them. Pay you disgusting wages that are below minimum wage which includes inner London and waiting which is the lowest of the low . Pay you the wrong pay band and expect you to chase everyone to sort it when they are at fault . Go with another agency that appreciates their staff .

Hello the owner,

Hello the owner,
You are the only medical agency known in London that doesn't allow temporary workers to cancel shift within 24 hours. Also every other medical agency has maximum of 8 hours cancellation policy and they don't cover behind patients' safety. RCN is already looking into your dodgy practices.
If you only got out of your room and spoke to workers you will learn NOBODY is paid 2 hours cancellation as they must be present on the ward to be paid. That's the policy in practice not your handbook!
Educate yourself then replay to complaints. Treat workers with respect as even your daily interviews and advertising for new employees won't help you to find anyone.

The worst ever in responding to queries over mail ...

The worst ever in responding to queries over mail or calls. I was left unanswered and not paid for work done and holidays due. I will never recommend working with Bank Partners.

Please note: I have edited this review on 11th Aug after 2 months of posting it. A response from Bank Partners after 2 months speaks volumes of their professionalism. Why this delay please? Something similar to the manner in which they respond to your pay and AL queries! Just an example! Also, to note I have zero faith in your system and if my earlier mails have not been answered, how will a new mail make a difference! It is surely disheartening when you are not paid/paid less for your hard work and end up calling/mailing to only give up finally.

I registered with bank partners May 2019 and the process has been so slow until when Atlanta took over my file.
Atlanta has been very efficient and professional the past two weeks and have worked very hard to ensure that my profile is up to date on Bank partners.
Massive thanks Atlanta, much appreciated.

You can't get worse than this company. Absolutely no response to emails for weeks on end. They screw up your wages week in and week out. They mess up your holiday entitlement. If you decide to work for bank partners expect the very worst of the worst service possible.

I would NOT sign up with Bank Partners at King's College London Hospital. I am still waiting to be paid from them from work done in March 2019 (it is now July 2019). They are unhelpful, they are obstructive with regards to getting you signed up. Don't waste your time, I have been trying in vein for over 3 months.

I had some negative feed back from colleagues about Bank Partners but I can honestly say, they have really helped me, in particular Timi who seems to be helping with doctors, admin and registration! Very dedicated and great service! Thank you

A very nice chic building. Very big reception area and it has the perfect mirrors so u can see your self before going up the lift. The staff are really nice too.

I went upto the second floor. It was nice and airy. Very business like and the staff there are amazing. Its not too hot or cold and the interior design is modern.

I did not give it 5 stars because when i first went there i couldnt tell straight away where the entrance was. However, the benefit is that this is only a walking distance away from the nearest station.

Bank Partners must be the worse Temp Agency to work for ever. You can never get in touch with them as I have tried recently with regard to their I-Point system of submitting Time Sheets. I have not had a Time Sheet put on for nearly 3 weeks, although my Manager submitted my Application for Shifts on 23.03.18.
The whole system is completely fractured and unworkable and despite my e-mailing Bank Partners pay roll numerous times and having a "read receipt" given they have never come back to me.
They owe me 75.5 hours in holiday time which I submitted at the beginning of March and again at the end of March not a word.
I am a very experienced Medical Secretary who retired from Guy's & St. Thomas' Trust in 2013 and I have worked at Barts Trust for 4 years first of all with HCL who were great and I had to leave them because of the cut-backs worse thing ever!
As far as I am concerned Bank Partners don't even deserve 1 Star let alone 5!!!!

Have been registered with bank now can't get shifts as they need sonsome to start sooner. When I did inform them during registration that once accepted I will have to give 4 weeks notice at my current job now they are saying none of the Pharmacy managers are willing to wait that long. I have sent them 2 emails did not receive any reply, phoned them said someone will call me back no one has & now to be told this is ridiculous. I will be jobless after 2 weeks. I don't know what I will do. they say they can't do anything for me.

Went through the process a while ago, it is true that it takes forever to have everything done and be able to start working for the hospital applied.

Special gratitude to Kelly Rowson, who made my interview and dealt with all my paperwork very patiently and got involved in my case when my file was not getting through in the hospital management. Great person this one. Thank you very much.

This is a review for Daryl Poolman, our Bank Partners Business Partner at Whipps Cross Hospital. Daryl is unfailingly helpful, polite and accommodating, which is extremely important in an environment where there are so many last minute changes. He is a great support to our hospital.

HR staff are unavailable, rude and not sorting problems. Manager/support is unavailable, receptionists are useless, but call themselves bank partners associates. Not having contracts allow Bank Partners Kings College hospital to get rid off people straight away. They always advertise for new recruits so they don't need to bother with old one.
Bank Partners require at least 24 hours shifts cancellations, but the ward can cancel even 1 hour before without cancellation fee being paid. Holidays are only 1 hour for 11.5 hours shift where other agencies pay more.
If you want a respectful, professional and fulfilling job, don't bother with Bank Partners.
Bank Partners do share the same address and pay checks as Pulse agency so why the person who replay for comments below deny that? Not surprised Bank partners agency being liars following their dishonest behaviours.

I have had an ongoing issue regarding my references and I am so confused. Bank Partners was recommended to me and I was looking forward to working with them. I am a student nurse and this has been going on for the past six months. This is not the type of process I expected. I have no idea what to do next. I really wanted to work with them and why is applying so difficult?

I had the best registration experience with Krystal. She was very proactive and helped me finish my registration in a short amount of time, which is awesome. She sent texts to my phone telling me to check my email if I had not replied in a while, which I thought was also really great. Really appreciate all her help, she was fantastic!

I was apprehensive in applying. A friend of mine did the application process and it took her ages to get sorted. But thankfully I had the pleasure of having Robert Miller handle my application. After speaking to him on the phone he gave me an interview the following week then training withing a week of the interview.
He made the process so easy. Rang me weekly and updated me on the progress of my application. It was so easy to deal with him. He made me feel like my application was the only application he was dealing with. He made the process easy and nothing was ever a problem.
Thanks Rob!

Horrible company. Nothing nice to say about them. No transparency on holiday pay. Not being able to cancel shifts within 24 hours. Blocking if someone has 2 late cancellations within 24 hours. Lack of slightest level of empathy and compassion as well as not replaying to emails and phonecalls. Compliance is difficult to communicate and doesn't care. 5 stars reviews about requirement must be written by friends knowing their history of dishonesty as most workers had problems. Never would recommend bank partners to anyone.
Spare asking in your response to contact you as you can't even sign here with your own name.

I have initially rated Bank Partners one star (with the original review underneath), but have updated my rating after they finally actioned on my application. Long story short, I had applied four times for Bank Partners at King's College Hospital, but have not made much progress besides the generic email of them receiving my application, and no to little further communications thereafter.
I had written about my experience in Google reviews, and shortly afterwards, received communication from Bank Partners stating their desire to amend the negative experience I have had before. Apparently, there was a new team in charge of the recruitment for King's.
This time around, the process was quite straightforward and generally efficient. Robert was the recruitment consultant who handled my application. He was very accomodating, pleasant, responsive and professional. Although there were some hiccups with the documents needed to be submitted, the transactions were mostly done quickly and seamlessly, meetings and interviews were organised, and the corresponding trainings were set up without hassle and with consideration of the applicant's work schedule.
The overall experience this time around was definitely better, and I felt well taken cared of and valued as an applicant. I hope this kind of service continues beyond the application period and extends to future applicants of Bank Partners, whether they leave a good review or not. I pray it won't need another negative online review to kick start changes or to maintain good recruitment practices.

Previous review:
I've tried applying FOUR times in the span of a year on the vacancies they posted for King's College Hospital. No progress on any of it, just the generic email reply that they received my application and will get back to me (and no further communications since). The farthest I got (which was on my second application attempt) was an email about the requirements I needed to pass. I wanted to clarify something in the email details but heard nothing back. I even queried twice, but got nothing for my troubles.
Really shoddy, unprofessional and inefficient company. I do not even know why they bother posting all those jobs when they do not even follow up with applications.
If I could rate them with zero stars, I would. Do not waste your time and try another company/hospital.

It should get zero stars. They cancelled my shift ...

It should get zero stars. They cancelled my shift 3 hours before starting time and was not paid and when cancelled exactly 22 hours before the shift starting time was send SMS with a warning more late cancellations and they get rid of me. We are temporary workers so we should be allowed to cancel shifts, surely is illegal to treat temporary staff like that!

Hi Katy Szkuta,

Hi Katy Szkuta,
I'm delighted and grateful for your help and support during my registration process with Bank Partners. You are the best among equal.
Thanks for being the person who picks out my file for registration and you made the journey smooth and comfortable.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Molly Hayes from bank partners was very efficient during my registration regardless of the digital challenges we had with email during the process. She didn't give up and made sure she found solution to the problem and got me registered. I am happy I can work with bank partners again. They usually have loads of shifts at different sites and diverse departments.

If there's minus stars, I would have been rating them. Difficult to get timesheet sorted & always issues with payment. I wouldn't have joined the bank partners if UCLH hasn't been monopolised to this agency. Considering I'm a permanent staff of the trust and with this amount of difficulties & time wasted.

Having officially joined Bank partners as HCA this month the recruitment process has been fantastic. In particular Katy Szkuta has been very helpful and prompt through out the application process!

I am looking forward to working my first bank shift next week. As a new HCA I need to work 34 days shifts before getting login details to book myself on to shifts. The booking team have provided me details of available shifts whenever I have called.

I would definitely recommend working with bank partners

I'm not sure about this company. I am completely disappointed that the first 12 or 24 weeks of work are less paid. I felt humiliated. Also for the first month I'm not allowed to book shift from the app. I don't really understand how so many NHS Trust let this company manage their bank staff. And after reading all these review, I'm sure I'll book shift only if I'll be desperate with no job.

Bank partners is part of a pulse agency, they are ...

Bank partners is part of a pulse agency, they are obsessed with money without respecting workers rights. Cancellation system is a joke must be done 24 hours in advance by calling rude and slow telephone operators. If you are cancelled, the cancellation fee is never paid as their excuse is you should call around to ask if needed. To receive holiday pay you need to fill a lengthy form and send to them. None of telephone operators know how much holiday pay is and a month later still didn't received the pay. To speak to HR is impossible, always busy number or no response. Avoid at all cost.

Unprofessional and inefficient

Unfortunately that is all I can say after more than a year of giving them another chance.

They don't answer questions, they don't respond to emails. If you are lucky enough to get an assignment (that actually matches your skills) they don't tell you and then contact you to ask why you haven't turned up.

I personally apologised to one of the service managers, who told me they 'try to avoid using bank staff as we haven't had much success'.

For some reason we seem to be treated like second rate employees - perhaps it is because we are temp staff, I don't know - but temp or permanent, it is not the way to treat people.

If you are conscientious and dedicated to your work, try NHS Professionals. They are exactly what it says, Professional.

Very terrible organisation. Called numerous times to enquire how to join, why I'm never responded to. A member of the compliance/recruitment team assured me my emails and applications would be replied to. It is highly frustrating as most of the hospitals around my local area are managed by 'Bank Partners'. The Nhs need to step up and take over and have their own temporary staffing recruitment procedure because this one is highly inadequate.

She had high effective communication strategies.

Inserting every time-sheet and every payment requires chasing, sometimes for months and years. To improve your star ratings you need a new system so every worker is payed on time instead of having to send numerous emails and pay you many visits to communicate issues. It is an embarrassing ordeal, because health care workers must never wait this long to be payed when everybody else including instagrammers get paid on time if not in advance.

This company i don't know if it is the staff to blame the company to blame or barts health to blame it has been years and it has gotten worse and worse over the years and now it is even worse then before. I joined Bank Partners with high hopes. They put a restriction on me for leaving work early when my wife had a car accident and other day when I had migraine. I used to work at Royal London Hospital and they just put a restriction on me.I begged them please don t do this. I m the only one in the family who works. They advised me to join agency. It takes months to join agency. Bank Partners never offered me any shifts and were willing to forward the shifts to agency. As a bank worker I should have given the preference over agency staff. I had no support and proper explanation from Bank Partners why I was sacked just like that. Would you not request to go home early if your loved one had a car accident? They keep saying they are not connected with pulse agency so, why are they both have offices at 223 Pentonville Road King s cross London?
