Brice makes a damn fine cocktail. The maple smoked steelhead cakes were delicious. Wings were good. Pesto pasta with chicken was a well balanced main course. Nice and quiet on a Tuesday evening. Great place for a quiet drink with a date in low mood lighting.
Wasn't super impressed. I should have suspected something was up when it was lunch time and I was the only one in the place.
Really cool laid back place that screams Portland. Good variety of choices. Sit outside on the patio, its a cute little area that is covered so you can eat outside in the rain. The tables are made out of old bowling alley lanes, which is awesome. Good drinks, good food and reasonable prices. Their beet salad was delicious.
Excellent food, a bit pricey for the portions. Great selection on draft. Very few pieces of bacon and they weren't thick cut, but they know what "extra crispy" really means The toast comes on brioche and is more of a cake than a bread, might be enjoyable for some but a little weird personally although I did eat it all.
Great patio area, inside is nice too. Happy hour is ok.
Nice patio area. Not as popular as it once was, but still decent food and an ok ambience.
Good jazz dj's. good mello vibe, good food, nice beer list.
Great food, great service. Only minor critiques. Thank you!
Quaint spot with a cozy inside. Fun and tasty drink menu.
Smoked corned beef sandwich was the best I've ever had in my life! Hummus plate was amazing as well. The cauliflower was delicious!
Service was great. He was knowledgeable about all the menu items we were curious about. Can't wait to come back and try a beer & whiskey pairing!
Cool Portland hang. I first came here in 1982. Solid selection of craft beer.
Damn fine burgers. One of the few worthwhile happy hours in Portland.
The covered patio was comfortable even on a cold day.
Great food, simple menu, Epic bar
Very Portland!
Happy hour at Produce Row was surprisingly beautiful.
What do I mean by this? Well, the presentation of the food was just really stunning. Crostini, pretzel bread, beet salad, and hummus plates were ordered and every time something came out I ooh'ed and ah'ed at the sight of it all. I *almost* liked looking at it more than I liked eating it! To an extent. The food tasted good but it definitely LOOKED better than it tasted, if you know what I mean. The pretzel bread wasn't very pretzel-y (-- technical term), and the salad was, frankly, really small for its price point. The crostini was BEAUTIFUL and just tasted OK. I didn't try the hummus but it was also very pretty and kind of small.
I sort of think the beers are already overpriced here so happy hour is what I'd prefer to pay all the time. I love that they gave a great patio option to sit outside. Basically, I would come back, but I may not pick this as the gem of Portland.
HOWEVER - great beer selection, lots of options and one time, I had a really tasty hot toddy here. Service can be slow, but always friendly.
Great burger, quick service. Only complaint is the lack of parking.
I have been here many times because a group to which I belong meets there. Food isn't great. Service is always lukewarm. Drink menu not large.
However, great outdoor cover patio is always open and great, especially in the summer and fall. The restaurant is attractive, and in love the mural area and the ceiling. It's an interesting place. Try it, but don't be surprised if you're underwhelmed.
slow service (got to a point where we had to ask to be waited on - and even then took forever)
very decent food- everyones food was cold
messed up the checks
spent close to 2 hours there when it shouldve been no more than an hour
I've always liked this place, in all of it's iterations. Still fun. Great staff.
If you come to Portland but don't come here, you've missed Portland. This place is bombsauce.
I wanna love it because the atmosphere is so great and I like the happy hour and drinks....but the food is always aggressively mediocre.
This place is really cute. I love the outdoor patio. My server was awesome and the nachos were pretty good. They have a good selection of beer. I docked one star because there is only 1 beer and 1 cider on the happy hour menu.
We went with some friends on New Years Eve 2019/2020. Not where we expected to end up but it was really fun. Excellent decore, mellow vibe, friendly people, and the sound system was dialed in. Not sure what a normal night is like but if you see an event hosted here you should consider it.
Delicious food, fair priced although staff wasn't very attentive
Lovely atmosphere, delicious, fresh food, and wonderful service!
Dear Google,
Thank you for reminding me that all I seem to do is eat out.
Thanks,
Lazy But Well Fed
This place should be a Portland staple. Selfishly, part of me is glad it s not, so that I can always walk in and get a table. But since it s Portland and there s great food and drinks pretty much everywhere, I don t get here enough. So you go, too!
On top of a great tap list, they have good food snd nice staff. Truly setting them apart form some of the other places in town is that the space has character. And a great patio! Seriously, it s a killer space.
So, go! Have a Pliny the Elder to sip on while you decide on what to eat. Soak up some sun snd decide how much you can eat before the vintage restaurant chair you re leaning back in snaps a leg (it won t, but you might wonder) and then stuff your face. You won t regret it snd you ll feel like you spent the day at a secret club.
Good food with a casual atmosphere. The patio is quiet and contained.
Good food good drinks, whiskey beer pairings. Great lunch spot.
This place has a great aesthetic, very welcoming and comfortable but done with a classy touch. The food is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend their brussel sprouts as a starter and the steak frites for your main.
This place is positively stellar. I don't understand how it isn't busier. Even on peak weekend hours there's always tables available and quick service
Great place to grab a beer, the remodel looks good, though I heard it used to be more divey.
What I liked most about this restaurant was the lighting, decor, service, and general aesthetic. The music nicely compliments the aesthetic. Although, I did notice that there were some cob webs here and there on the ceiling. These had to be looked for. For the most part, it was clean and organized.
The food is a whole issue in of itself. First, the chips are over salted. I understand that it is meant to be served with a beer, but it has no right to be this bad. Second, the burger I had ordered was not cooked to what I asked. It was over cooked. An absolute disservice to the meat they were using. Moreover, the burger was bland. Each component of the burger did not add anything. It was just sitting there for the sake of sitting. Wholly disappointed by the food.
I LOVE this place.
Adorable inside, great social environment to mill around and meet people, and AWESOME food.
I had the tri-tip sandwich, and also the Au Jus sandwich...both highly recommended.
Also: make sure to check out Do-Over in the summers. SUCH an awesome outdoor dance party!
Amazing service and food!!! Warm and covid guideline following environment. Great cocktails and drink orders.
Awesome covid rules in place with tons of outdoor seating. Order at the bar and arrows to direct the flow. It was fairly empty when I went on a Monday evening. They've opened up the space nextdoor for patio seating as well. I felt very comfortable!
Great spot for events in enclosed atrium area. Good local food.
A+ for delicious food, year round patio, wide range of beer/cider, neat decor/vibe. Always a good time!
The beer and whiskey pairings are the reason to come. Music can be cranked too loud early in the evening when the place is bare.
Wonderful food, great vibes and super considerate of social distance and safety.
Very cool place. I used to eat here years ago then i went back last week and they had really expanded. I always come for the fish and chips, they are very good, it's become a little trendy but still great food that's worth the drive. Give it a try.
Great atmosphere. Nice outdoor heated seating. Good selection of beers. Awkward location that isn't next to other bars or anything. Go here and plan to stay here.
Do you miss that feeling of being the unpopular kid in school? That crushing sense of not belonging and feeling that, merely by existing, you were burdening everyone around you? Well, Produce Row has you covered.
I used to go here all the time. Then they shut down, got new owners, and reopened. I was excited to be able to go back to a regular spot, and boy was I surprised in how much it had changed.
Here's a brief summary of our experience (an experience that was so bad that we actually walked out, which is something I never do).
There were tons of empty tables and yet no one was getting seated. Instead everyone was getting directed to the bar, where the bartenders were studiously ignoring the patrons. There were maybe a dozen people in the bar and yet no one was getting served.
The service was so bad I thought we offended them but everyone else was getting the same service. And the place had been open for hours, so this wasn't a matter of them being overwhelmed by opening duties. Furthermore, there were more staff in the restaurant than patrons. I've truly never seen anything like it.
After half an hour of getting ignored while the servers and bartenders socialized with each other, we left. Astoundingly bad.
I love the atmosphere and I love the place and they have real good food and thank you for being LGBT in Friendly
Good food When we visited during lunch the service was slower than we d hoped for.
Food is amazing! Rhondee was my waitress and is even better than the food! Best of the best!
Delicious, friendly, and with value added services. Come once and you will be back for more.
+$5 beer pours and they aren't pint glasses? Won't be back for a while.
My go-to place to eat. The menu is diverse and the atmosphere is relaxing. A wonderful selection of beer and drinks. I have been multiple runs and have never had a bad experience. The back patio is amazing in the summer and warm and covered in the winter. Highly, highly recommend.
Lets see. If you have ever watched Cheers, Thats the feeling you would get hanging out here except for a lot more hip. Everyone is nice and your treated like family. I suggest the Potato Skins as they are the bomb. Just stopped in for the Happy Hour, but exited to go back and enjoy some music and what ever else they have to offer.
Crossed my name off the list. And told everyone they tried to call. But didn't. Ended up having to wait 30 extra minutes. If I hadn't gone in and check. I would have never knew.
Good beer, food, and patios. They've also reopened since the shutdown.
Tried it for lunch , good food and service , will eat here again
Good food, nice patio (dogs allowed), and good drink selection. I would have enjoyed a kombucha and a dessert menu
Good beer and service. Big fan of the out of the way places.
Wild event space!
Perfect for dancers!
I attended an adult dance party which was perfect for dancing!
Indoor outdoor covered venue!
So if you ever see this on a dance list attend do not miss out!
I had the breakfast potato skins here, and it was probably the most amazing breakfast I've ever eaten in Portland. Will definitely go there as often as I can.
I had the roasted pepper soup and a roasted beet salad. It was fabulous. And the service was amazing.
Great burger on the happy hour menu. Good selection of adult beverages. Large covered outdoor tables that are comfortable year around.
Really great northwest food options lots of variety in the menu occasionally they have a live DJ helpful and friendly, trendy staff very edgy very portlandia
Good selection of beers, didn't try the food but was here for an excellent outdoor patio daytime party with Young Marco.
Food was decent but my sister's burger was not hot, which seemed odd. They brought her another one but it was only a little warmer. Nice staff, though. Don't plan on having much of a conversation as the noise level is closer to a bar on a Friday night, even though we were having Sunday brunch.
Really sweet bartenders, and a lovely old-fashioned. Try the wings.
Delicious brunch and great atmosphere with attentive service. Noticed they were also passing out roses for Mother's Day- so cute! It took awhile for the food to come, which was fine because I wasn't in a hurry, but something to keep in mind! Also, portions weren't huge, but still filling. Would definitely go back again!
Ate their dinner, nothing too special, but still pretty tasty.
Great service despite it being quite lively during our visit. The burger was excellent.
Lively restaurant in Downtown Portland. Salads were delicious, service was quick. Loved the interior, I wanted to take the long farm table home with me!
Comfortable gastropub with yummy bites! We had the French onion soup, roasted beet salad, chicken salad sandwich, and the cod sandwich. The soup and the salad were good. The cod sandwich was great!! The service was excellent but my favorite is the atmosphere! They even gave us an envelope with a fun surprise in it. You should go soon too to get one!! But don't open it!!!
Great atmosphere the the whiskey sour shlushy changed my life!!
Best thing about this place is the atmosphere, a real classy joint here in industrial SE Portland. Great service, a good beer list (though they go with quantity of taps over quality and unique ones). Solid happy hour offerings.
