Mariana in Louis Vuitton is literally the nicest p...

Mariana in Louis Vuitton is literally the nicest person in the Louis Vuitton boutique. There was one other woman working when I went in on June 18th to purchase two bags she was quite frankly rude. She had a look on her face like she couldn t be bothered actually helping a customer. She did not greet me nor ask me if I needed help just rudely told me to sanitize my hands. You would think since stores are just opening for the first time in three months she would ve wanted to make the commission but no! honestly I m glad she didn t want to help me because Mariana was more than happy to assist me in making my purchases. I left with one bag in hand and another that she had to order for me. She called me today to come and pick up my second bag and was just as sweet as the first time she helped me. I hope someone in Louis Vuitton or Bloomingdale s corporate office sees this review because Mariana deserves the recognition for being first and foremost professional, very knowledgeable in the Louis Vuitton products and genuinely just an overall lovely person! She would be a great person to train her colleagues on customer service!!

I have been here many times. The place is enormous, so take the time to go over everything. If you can choose the day, look for deals and come here when you can save and still get what you need.

Surreal to say the least. I went here today just to accompany my wife to exchange some Christmas gifts from her employers at Loews Corp. Maybe they failed to place the "clr" on every item, which I'm sure was exhausting due to the sheer volume.
When we arrived the woman at the Channel make-up counter advised us that we'd have to go to the 2nd floor to process the exchange.
So where is the entrance to the second floor?
Oh, the elevator is behind Louis Vuitton.(?)
What about the escalator?
That's right there.
Oh okay.
We proceed upstairs. When we finally locate an employee and express our intention to make returns she asks us to accompany her to a register, which we do. I begin to retrieve items from the bag and notice her stop an additional saleswoman with the statement "Hey can you give me a hand?". With what though? (I'm a Big Guy, I guess.) Immediately Ms. Pena proceeded to inform us that there was nothing she could do since we weren't the purchasers of said items if we didn't have CLR tags. When we provided the said CLR all while stating again that they were gifts from the person who has a personal shopper at Bloomingdale's. The woman with the two toned black and red hair immediately interfered, insisting that Ms Pena not scan the items on the actual register which was in use but instead use the sleeping console. "No record of these items ever being in the system. "Really, I wonder why?" Ms Pena then began asking whether we understood why we weren't being helped and I informed her we actually didn't. She then suggested that we "go back to where it was purchased" and that "They could help if we could get the number to who bought it for her.".
They stopped just short of accusing us of stealing the items while including that they just did us a favor. I wonder why it was so empty

Hey, I'm a working class guy, Alot of items I may not be able to afford in Bloomies. I love colognes and the exclusivity of some of the brands is what keeps me coming, You can find some exclusive clothing aswell. This is Westchester county, so it wont have the selection of Manhattan. My favorite counter person in white plains is Barbara in cosmetics. She is so pleasant and humble. When you enter a place where some folk act pretentious her Wonderful demeanor helps alot. I love her energy. If you look you can find affordable items.

This Bloomingdale's has been around forever, and the quality of the location is very good - it's massive, and has a huge variety in every department. It's also never crowded, very convenient, with tons of parking, and the sales staff is usually very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. For those trying to put together a wedding registry or looking for a nice gift, the registry department is the biggest I've seen in pretty much any department store in Westchester or NYC - they have nearly every item by Michael Aram, Nambe, etc. out on display so you can see and touch them before making your decision.

This store has the worst customer service. I bought a Ted Baker jacket for $500 and within a few uses, the inseam on the forearms began to tear apart. Not Bloomingdales fault obviously, but of course I had to go there to return the clearly defective item. I went directly to the counter where I made the purchase and as soon as the staff realized I had an item to return, they all began to act like snot noses, very childish. I explained my issue and they asked me to leave the counter, and they told me they had to get someone from Ted Baker and that the issue with my jacket is not their problem because they didn t buy the Ted Baker merchandise and that the Ted Baker was instead renting floor space for its merchandise. Mind you the Ted Baker items are arranged in the exact same way all of the other merchandise in the store is. What is it my concern what business arrangement the two multi-million/billion dollar companies have between them? This was none of my concern. I told them I just wanted to return or exchange the jacket. They passed me to 3 reps where ultimately the one who decided to deal with me came as if she is the one they call when they expect the Customer to throw a hissy fit. Obviously they don t know me and that it s not my style. Anyway, this person proceeded to tell me that the jacket must be too tight on me (it s not at all) and that will cause the inseam to violently tear apart. I told her that a $500 jacket should not be falling apart after just a few uses and that is a joke. She said they cannot take any jacket back that can t be immediately be sold. All business, no customer service. She then told me that they would fix the jacket as a one time courtesy, because obviously I was not agreeing to the fact that they wouldn t accept the return. She then refused to give me back my Ted Baker hanger because she claimed that Bloomingdales isn t supposed to give them out and they don t care and just do it anyway, so they took my hanger, provided me with no proof that this was even a real rule and at that point I was so aggravated that I was not going to make a scene in the middle of the store during the Holiday Season. They are literally a bunch of animals these people it s horrendous.

Bloomingdales has been around a long time..surviving other retail stores outside of a Mall. Many changes have been made over the years to include the younger, more ready to buy leaving the rest of the store difficult to navigate at times.
I like that the store isn't crowded except for major sales, Friends and Family Days, Points plus Days. Parking is free, and if you need a Manager to "chat" with, they are accessible.
Their price point is generally high, so get a few classic looks and one funky outfit and your set. There is Le Provance, a sit down served lunch, or 40 Carrots, counter seating only. I prefer the latter if anything.
If you want an everything store, that has all sizes, a crazy but awesome shoe Dept, and I never miss finding something on sale here, go to Lord and Taylor. Just my opinion.

Bloomies used to have excellent sales and customer service people, but not anymore. We bought a bed at Bloomingdales in White Plains. The salesman managed to upsell us by blatantly lying about his beds. He insisted the mattresses he was pushing were all 12 inches deep. I thought they looked much bigger, but he insisted I was mistaken. I should have come back with a measuring tape, but it was Presidents Day and they were having a big sale, which was about to end and I didn t want to miss out. The mattress is 16 inches deep. None of my sheets fit. My fault for trusting him.

In terms of delivery, we were told we would get a call the day before giving us a two hour estimate for the delivery time. We got no such call. The delivery man called when he was 10 minutes away, at 8:30 am. I rushed to strip the old bed and move furniture out of the way so the bed could be delivered.
