It was a very nice building and I'm glad I was there.
It was a great place to stay! The food was good and the people were friendly!
Was at a meeting in a conference room. All was good and staff was willing to help before and during to meet any needs.
Clean and professional. Excellent business environment.
Stayed here for a conference I was attending, Rooms were Clean and spacious and gave off a good vibe. Breakfast was extra but that's to be expected in a large town like Indianapolis. Breakfast was good and worth paying for though so that's definitely something to note. Pool and hot-tub were very nice and the Exercise room offered many great tools. Will stay again and would return!
Front desk has been very helpful and friendly. Located on 20 minutes from the convention center. Nice pool, rooms, and workout area.
The hotel was very good looking, the staff was friendly and the service was excellent. My only complaint was with the bathroom door, since it is a sliding door and the handle is resessed it managed to take a slice out of my finger when it slid past the frame.
For the price of the rooms it s horrible and very poor quality. Food in main lobby is expensive I ll never go back to that place agian
Marriott has been a very generous host. Superb service, diplomatic employees.
Comes as a buffet style. Enjoy the fireplace. Professional waiters.
I stayed here for a weekend with some friends for a convention. Check-in was a nightmare, very displeased with the experience. They did not have enough rooms, my card was declined for no reason, staff was somewhat rude, was guaranteed check-in time at 4pm, did get into the room until 5:30pm....after many communication issues. Some basic rooms did not even have a fridge or microwave. Pretty sad for a hotel this fancy ... room cleanliness was okay at best, although said to be newly renovated , doesn t seem that way.. restaurant was the best part, we had burgers for lunch and they were worth the wait and delicious. Worst part about this hotel is they nickel and dime people to death, nearly everything has extra charges they tack on...it just plain sucks.
My son was leaving for Marine Corps. He was staying as overnight guest. I bought myself a drink LOL and him one as well. The hotel was nice.
Decided to take our kids to stay over night to swim and have a sleep over. We just live 5-10 mins away. It was bad!! First, when we checked in, they didn't have the rooms we reserved. Second, there was SOO many people in the pool you literally couldn't get in. Within 20 mins of us getting to the pool area, a teen from another family, leans over the side of the pool & vomits!! Then continues to play!! Housekeeping came and closed the pool at 6pm. The whole reason we came. We I complained to the front desk because now our stay is worthless. They didn't care or try to make it better. Also, the website says they have breakfast... they do not! It's a separate room service charge. The pillows we horrible and the bathroom door doesn't actually shut, so when you shower it stays cold in the bathroom. We got up early the next morning to see if the kids could swim at least for a little bit, nope... pool still closed. I rented to rooms for nothing. I could have just set $300 on fire and had a better experience.
Very clean. Everyone is positive and a friendly environment.
It felt creepy going through isolated hallway after hallway to find my room. The room had no friddge or microwave. I was there for a statewide conference for my employer and the service for the conference itself was outstanding.
Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Big hotel. Some facilities a bit dated. Rooms are ok. Lounge is not great but staff is really great.
Had a nice stay. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. The toilet didn't flush very well, but that's the only issue we had.
Customer service was wonderful. ...the guy with the braids went out his way to help me with a room
Hotel staff are very helpful and polite, put you in a good mood kind of people. Banquet hall is very large with seating for several hundred people. Great place for business meetings or company parties. The standard rooms are very basic and dated for the type of hotel it is but the beds are very comfortable. Restraunt is very good but really expensive. Swimming pool and workout room are nice and included free with your stay. All in All, not a bad place but always room for improvement.
Ever since they re-modeled the lobby and several rooms, this location looks incredible!
Please look at Offering a discount on breakfast for large groups!
Excellent service, only issue was less than great cleanliness of comforters
Marriott East doesn't seem to care about Gaming Conventions or the people that attend them. Long gone are the years when one could attend an event at the Marriott and enjoy yourself. I doubt I will be back. They enjoy the company of our money FAR more than they enjoy or company. They want us gone, and I believe I will be glad to go. The restaurant is good.
I start to go to meps to enlist and I go back next Monday to ship out and it was probably the best hotel experience I've had.
Very nice and modern. Conference rooms were especially good in the ability to partition or expand them. Quite large, but easy to navigate. People were very helpful and friendly.
Great for hosting professional events i.e. conferences, etc.
Rudest staff on the planet. Why book a convention if you don't want the people there? I drive in for a convention, enter the parking lot where I was told to park and was told by security that I could not park near the hotel. Even through I could see empty spaces in the event parking side they told us we could park in the residential area across the busy 4 lane road. This convention went until after midnight and they seemed fine with us walking in the dark across a busy street. I just simply asked why I could not park in one of the empty spaces and the security guard put his hand up in my face and said Ma'am go park away from here. I would never give this place any of my business.
Excellent customer service. My companion and I were greeted immediately as we stepped inside the clean, nicely decorated lobby. The check in process was smooth and quick, with no issues. Nice amenities, especially the fitness room. Our room was spotless and exactly what we paid for, so no issues there as well. Overall, a definite 5-star experience and about the nicest thing Indianapolis has to offer. Would definitely stay here again during a future visit and will recommend to friends, family, and colleagues.
Beautiful hotel! The people are extremely nice, especially Glendoris!
I' m only giving one star because you can't give zero. I was staying with a group that has hosted events at the Marriott for over 10 years. This year everything changed and we were misled and not notified of the changes until after all the rooms and reservations were booked. We will never be back to this hotel because they are not honest with their guests.
Nice hotel but restaurant especially breakfast is very pricey.
Nice accommodations, friendly staff, convenient location
The Marriott East in Indianapolis was a fantastic experience overall. Any problem we had with the room was rectified immediately. And the staff was excellent in servicing all of us in the room. Definitely glad to know my group will be visiting this for our convention next year.
Good service for the event. Helpful and friendly staff.
We stopped in to kill a couple hours. We had a drink and an appetizer, asked for one of the TVs to be changed to news and they were happy to oblige. Plus it was fun to talk to the 3 different people trying to change the channel. Lol
Love this place!! Love that they let horror hound come there this year!!!
Nicest hotel I've personally been to. My only option though as I was there for the military. Nice staff as far as I was concerned.
Got a king size presidential suite for Christmas Eve and Christmas night. Was a beautiful suite very clean and had a very relaxing stay.
Very nice hotel, and great facilities for our conference. The staff was extremely friendly.
The rooms are decent, comfy beds and pillows, but what really made it exceptional was the staff, kind and very helpful.
There for an event in the ballroom, the staff were helpful and friendly.
Older facility, some rooms are dated, but beds are very comfortable and lobby / bar is nice. Attentive staff.
Super nice bed. Nice environment there's only one elevator so it takes a lo g time to go up or down. My overall experience was good.
Cancelled my reservation because I had an old credit card on file. Never called me or emailed me. Been a long time Marriott rewards member and they did not have the courtesy to take care of a long time customer of Marriott . Then they want to book me at another hotel and charge me more money
The outside of the hotel was nice i actually didnt go into the building just needed to pull into the parking lot
I attended a 3 day conference at the Marriott East and was very impressed by the amenities provided by the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and modern, but more importantly they kept the entire convention center clean at all times. The hotel also provided drinks outside of every conference hall for our convenience. Overall I am very happy that the convention was held here and I hope to return to the Marriott East next year for this convention.
I oove it its facy nice free wi-fi pervides breafest n it great
Recently renovated. Full service hotel. Clean and friendly
Very professional and friendly staff, clean rooms and very nice hotel, highly recommended
Very impressed with how clean the rooms were. Check in and out was very fast. Hotel even offered everyone a free breakfast due to a fire alarm glitch that was triggered in the early morning. Felt welcome despite them hosting us weirdos for a convention. They even took part in one of the events, such friendly staff too. Good job Marriott on making my trip a pleasurable experience.
Arrived around 10pm on a Friday night to find that they did not have a room for our family despite having a reservation booked directly thru Marriott. They had a record of the reservation and it had not been cancelled but no room was available. After checking around they found a hospitality suite with a Murphy fold down bed and eventually after 2 requests provided 2 rollaway beds for our daughters. We finally got in bed around 11:30. Not exactly the level of surface that I expect from Marriot. The staff was friendly and polite, but when I make a reservation I expect to have a room waiting for us especially when we know we will be arriving late. Nice enough hotel but I couldn't recommend it unless you know you'll be arriving early.
Really friendly and reliable staff. No problems. Had a good sleep.
Was nice. Restraunt food was better prepared on my last vist and was a 5 out of 5.
This visit I ranked the food a 3.75. Salmon was not cooked evenly and my pork chop had too much gravy.
Property is nice for a multiple add on. Towers and room direction can be confusing. Recommend an outdoor pool by the garden fountain and a bar to up the ante.
Great staff hands down a 5 star crew. Just get some consistency on the food before you charge at the higher rate.
I was there for a career fair, so didn't stay long. For this purpose, it is a great facility.
I've stayed over 400+ Marriott properties worldwide. The customer service here is like no other. The staff members here are willing to go the extra mile to help your stay become a great one and they're able to do this with a genuine smile. Just want to give a Shout out to Ebony, Glendoris, Johnny, Montez and Daja!! Thanks for accommodating me and my business partner while traveling cross-country. Y'all really made this massive hotel feel like an intimate experience. Next time I am in Indianapolis I will drive the extra 15-20 minutes out of the way to come to this hotel. True 5 star
Peace and Love
Absolutely the finest,on that the Eastside of indianapolis has to offer!!!
Went to conference here and I was very impressed with the ambiance of this place, inside and out. Would recommend
If you're here on business, I suggest you to find another hotel because their "enhanced" high-speed internet access is very slow. It takes a few minutes to send/receive in email in your room. My laptop was plugged directly into the wall and I'm still getting terrible connectivity. My week here was very unproductive as I was not able to perform my job. Thankfully, as a Marriott Platinum Elite Member, I do not have to pay for the internet, otherwise I would demand a full refund.
I probably won't stay here if I come back for business. I would rather stay somewhere else.
It's a nice hotel overall if you're traveling for leisure.
This is a nice place to visit I would recommend to anyone my husband works their
Very clean and looked very elegant with great customer service.
Nice clean room, good breakfast buffet. Someone questioned the neighborhood, it seems fine, not high class but fine.
Clean. Nice lobby. Attended a seminar here and was capivated by how clean the restroom was. These things are very important to me.
Very clean rooms and comfortable bedding. Kind staff that were attentive of every need. Only took away a star because of the incredibly long walk from the front desk to my room. Easily the entire length of the complex.
Had a great night beautiful hotel keep up the good work
Working the vendor Hall at In conjunction. Have had no contact with hotel staff.
Room was clean. Front desk girl was Rude. We didn't have a microwave so when I called down to get one she told me none of the Rooms have them.when my friends Room had a microwave don't like when they lied to me.
Bathrooms very small, heating system very noisy, food was good, needed more staff for our groups needs
I was there for the state convention of the Fraternal Order of Eagles very nice hotel and pleasant, cautious and helpful staff
