My experience with Prestman Auto (Alex in particular) was fantastic. Alex did a great job finding a list of vehicles that had all of my requirements and stayed in my price range. I am a single mother and I was buying a car on my own for the first time and not one person at the dealership was pushy or made me uncomfortable. I've had my Subaru for almost a month now and thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was the easiest car buying expirence I've ever had! I didn't feel pressured or hustled. Fernando took time to show me all the vehicles that met my criteria & was patient as I made my decision. I love my new car when it's time for a new one, I'll be back!!

I went to look for a car and decided to buy one but the assistant sales (chase billions) or something like that cuz I don't care about his name was way rude with any interest to sale plus he and all of the people at this place were so RACIST they don't take the customer first and they don't care what you need I've been to good places like Larry H Miller which is a great dealer and I've never been treated as bad as this place they should close this place because they don't know how to treat people

I found the sales person, Tyson, very good to work with and overall the staff were very nice. Tyson seem knowledgeable and very willing to help me find what I needed. The reason I reduce the overall rating was because once I got home and started to really look through the vehicle I found several pieces of candy, two french fries, two or three gum wrappers, a stick of gum, straw wrappers, and some other little papers that look like pieces of a game. These were under the rear seats and front passenger seat. Also when I lifted up the rear seats, which completely exposes the floor, it was very clear it had not been vacuumed very well or cleaned. I don t know if Prestman auto cleans vehicles before they sell them but I would think that any dealership would take pride in what they sell by at least vacuuming and cleaning up any food, papers, wrappers, and candy. It was truly a disappointment to what had been up to that point of very good experience. Also, I wasn t particularly pleased that the gas tank was on Empty as I drove off the lot after paying cash for the vehicle.

Carl was super knowledgeable and great with my truck.

Maurissa and Jorgen were extremely helpful, professional and courteous. They both did not give up and made sure we got our much needed car even with our credit challenge. We will definitely recommend them and look forward to buying another car with them.

What a GREAT experience!!! Travis found the perfect car for us, everybody was SUPER NICE and ATTENTIVE!! Everything went QUICKLY and we left with the car we wanted in less then 2 hours. If you are looking for a great car at an amazing price go to Prestman Auto and talk to Alex. When we arrived we walked around the lot until we found the car we had seen online. We stood there and I made the comment to my wife "just when I want someone to bug me nobody is" Alex showed up on her way to move a car. Alex stopped what she was doing and was not pressuring at all. She answered all our questions regarding branded titles and really put our mind at ease by explaining everything, reviewing the carfax and made us feel comfortable buying a branded title car. We left to go look at another dealership and the deals and comfort we found at Prestman made us regret even leaving without the escape we wanted. We went back and got a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium at a better price than other dealers were selling 2013-2015 escape models. Great dealership who knows what they are doing with branded titled cars and putting our mind at ease. I will definitely be going back

This was my first shopping experience with prestman Auto. I had never heard of them before I started looking for a vehicle. When I showed up, the environment was relaxed the people are friendly and courteous and they just take care of you. Thanks Micah and Kim.

I went in tonight to buy a car from Prestman Auto because I had been treated well on emails I had sent but when I got there Tracy was a completely different person. He was not prompt in helping me and seemed like it was a bother to have me there. I asked for a carfax report upon arrival and when I got there he said he could pull it up if I wanted, which i clearly had wanted it by asking before I arrived. He asked me about my credit, which is not good, and then basically told me to get it cleaned up then to come back. He didn't even look at it to see what he could do but only asked if my father could provide me with the loan. I have worked in customer service for 12 years and that is not the way to treat someone who is looking to make you money by purchasing your product. I don't recommend this dealership to anyone unless you want to deal with a terrible sales manager that may do well over the phone and on emails but has no idea what hes doing in person.

Just purchased a car from Prestman in Salt Lake City. This was the easiest car buying experience we have ever had. Our sales guy Dub Reed was extremely helpful and accomodating. We felt zero pressure and felt like he had our best interest in mind from the start. Our interaction with the general sales manager Travis Cheesman was fantastic as well. I had heard excellent things about this place, and our experience exceeded those expectations (not to mention we got an unbelievable deal on a great car!). We will definitely buy here again, and will recommend this place to all our friends and families.

We went to Prestman Auto after hearing about it from family who had had a great experience there. I was nervous about purchasing a salvaged titled based on the negative stigma surrounding it. That was quickly squashed with the service we received.

Alex Romero was great. She was kind and patient with our indecisiveness and never pressured us into anything. When we finally decided going through with a purchase, the rest of the staff made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. We would recommend Prestman Auto to anyone and will be back for future vehicle purchases!

RUN AWAY! Horrible follow up! If this is an indication of how they might follow up if a salvaged car you buy has issues, then RUN AWAY!

I'd leave ZERO stars if I could. They have horrible customer service. I called a few years back and nobody followed up. I called again that day and they assured me someone would follow up and NOTHING.

Fast forward to this last week (About 1.5 years later) I called the SLC location and nobody followed up. I called the Lindon location and I was assured someone would reach back out to me in a few hours and NOTHING again.

Well, that's it from me. I'm DONE and will NEVER buy from Prestman Auto.

Straight forward, and friendly. After a lot of shopping we stopped in just to look at a few cars. Chris Sanchez was very helpful, honest, and knowledgable. We test drove two, and picked one. We had an easy time because we came with financing already lined up but they are easy to work with no matter. We sat down with Tracy and he literally answered every single question we had, reviews ever part of the contract, and left us with a full understanding of the terms...very cool. After hearing nightmare stories about all the dealerships in town we feel this place was really there to help you buy the right car at the best price. I will be happy to refer anyone to buy here. Thanks Chris...you rock, my kids loved you.

I was hesitant to write a review initially, I wanted to give things time to make sure my car issues weren't just temporary. I purchased my car almost 2 years ago from these guys - they were super friendly, but I honestly feel lied to about the problems with my car. I started having some vibrating underneath the hood within the first 3 months of purchasing the car. Since then, I've had to replace the radiator fan, the catalytic converter, the wheels (3 of the 4 were totally bent), and I have more repairs to make. To be honest, the most frustrating of all of these is the fact that their paint job is TERRIBLE! I'm going to have to go get my whole car repainted even though it was all new paint 24 months ago. The paint started chipping within the first year of purchasing the car, which is a sign of a terrible paint job.

This is just my story. But, just take some cautions before purchasing. They say their cars all only suffer from cosmetic damage, but I'd have some trusty mechanics look over everything before you make the purchase.

What a great place to buy a car! Conveniently located, friendly staff and wide variety of vehicles to choose from. They don't try to hide the fact that a lot of the vehicles on their lot have a branded title. In fact, they're very transparent and honest about the history of each vehicle. This definitely put my mind at ease as I made my purchase because I knew I was getting into a car that was still mechanically sound, safe and reliable. I worked with Tracy Ball who has worked at Prestman Auto for 9 years. He's awesome! He knows the industry well and went out of his way to help me get the best deal possible. I'll definitely be back to buy from them in the future.

My recent experience is seriously what no one else wants.
My girlfriend ran her credit with these guys to buy a new truck and the dealership had the nerve to run it and as they were holding her paperwork another couple came in and the dealership sold the truck to that couple because they were local and had money in hand.
Not only did she take a big hit on her credit but her and I were just a laughing matter.
Were we asked to possibly put a deposit down? No. Were we told me might need more money down? No. Outright disrespectful dealership and no one should ever be treated like that. I would never recommend anyone to this place.

My sister was looking for a new to her car and I went along for moral support. While she was looking I found an Audi that I wanted. James helped me and my sister into new vehicles and kept us entertained while they got us the best rate. Highly recommended +++

Our experience with Prestman Auto was great. Our salesman was Tracy Ball and he treated us awesome. He was not at all pushy but was able to answer all the questions we had. We got a 2010 Honda Odyssey. We got everything we wanted in the vehicle for the best price by far. We had been looking for a minivan for a month before finding this one. While my husband went to do the financing Tracy took care of me and my 3 kids. He was so great with my kids, getting them hot chocolate and pizza. It's kind of tough to get a 4 and 2 year old to hold still but none of the employees seemed to mind. They would stop and talk to my kids rather than act annoyed by them and how noisy they were being. They even let them sit in a fancy car which they LOVED! The bottom line is that I felt comfortable and it made my buying experience that much better. Thank you Prestman Auto!

We are pleased with our purchase, however, the amount of time it took was long. We were also disappointed by the optional security service that was added onto the bill without our knowledge. Fortunately we caught it but we were not told about this fee beforehand. Other than that the price, quality, and service were good. Travis was our salesman.

*CHECK THEIR BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU REVIEWS/GRADE*. I rarely review anything. I just dont really care to, but in the case of Prestman I will write a review on every platform I can find. I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them. I owned the car for around 3 months, and it was in the shop for various reasons for a total of *6 WEEKS* on and off during this time. There were two separate times the car stalled or the same check engine lights came back on within 30 minutes of leaving the Prestman service center. The car was a lemon, plain and simple. I spent over $1500 on repairs and tow trucks within 2 months of purchasing the car. On one occasion I took the jeep into Prestman for a scheduled repair. I took a day off work as I would have no car. It sat there for 8 hours before I called to check on the status and nothing had been done. The parts were never even ordered and no one bothered to call me. On another occasion (had owned it for 6 weeks at this point) the car was smoking/shaking and reporting a check engine code. I took it into the shop for probably the fourth time in a month, and told Tammie what all was going on. After three days I called to check on the status and NO ONE EVEN KNEW WHY I HAD BROUGHT IT IN. When I spoke to Dan, he said they fixed some other unrelated issue. I said "great, what about the smoking and shaking?" and he had absolutely no clue what I was talking about. No one had even started to work on figuring it out because it Tammie never told anyone. The service center has no clue what is going on. It is remarkable how unorganized they are. I finally sold the car back to Prestman for about $6000 less than I bought it. That is, until I found out the $3000 warranty was completely NONREFUNDABLE. Some of my family members own car dealerships, and this is apparently unheard of. The people at mountain america who financed the car were shocked when I showed them the paperwork. They couldnt believe it. Stay far away from this business. The prices are very attractive, and believe me there is a reason they are so low.

I am completely happy with my 2015 Mazda 3 I purchased three months ago. There was an issue with the service contract I purchased but the operations manager Devin was very kind and patient in helping me to resolve the issue. I would buy from Prestman Auto again partly due to the professionalism and integrity shown by Devin. Thanks again.

This dealership has zero transparency. I was surprised to find out that the car I was planning on buying for 14,000 was going to cost 17,900 out the door.

The tax and tag fees are fair, that happens every time. Their doc fee and delivery fee are outrageous. Then they add an anti theft fee along with Gap. These are optional, but they don't tell you this until you are about to sign on the dotted line. All told, they wanted to charge over 2k in additional fees...and they refused to fill up the gas tank. When I asked the question about the gas tank, I received a belligerent response name from the manager.

They buy these cars for pennies on the dollar at salvage auctions. The one I had on my mind go anywhere from 4500 to 6500 depending on the damage. They send them to their "builders" and offer a nebulous explanation as to who their builders are and what type of work they do.

They are unwilling to stand by their work, and will not offer any kind of assurance that their rebuild work is up to par. It's on you as the customer to take 100% of the risk while thy are making thousands.

Don't go here.

My brother and I were looking for a very nice car at the right price. Prestman was the perfect place for us. We received excellent service. We were approved for financing on the spot and the whole process was very easy. I would definitely recommend Prestman Auto to my friends.

I'm frustrated with my visit. I want to buy a car in the next 2 weeks and I really like the look of the cars but worry about them being branded. Im not a mechanic but Ive always had junkers that I've had to work on. So, I can tell if a car has been fixed up well and wanted to stop by and do a couple test drives to settle my fears. Specifically how they worked on the frame and suspension in front end collisions. I was honest with the sales guy and he didn't want to show a car to someone who wasn't buying that day. So, I think I'm just going to buy new.

I worked with Trevor and had a great experience from a sales standpoint and have had my car now for two months. It's by far the nicest car I've ever owned, and I used to be a car salesman. I know cars! This one is undetectably sound and rebuilt. I'm pleased with the product, sales and service. While I am paying more than I planned, I also started shopping for a much more basic vehicle. I saved more than $15k on this vehicle because it was salvaged. People are flabbergasted to learn that my Infiniti has a rebuilt title. I can easily recommend Prestman Auto, their staff and doing business with Jason Olsen, the owner.

Terrible UNTRUSTOWRTHY Company! Do NOT give them a $250 deposit to hold a car!! If you change your mind they will not refund your money and never call you back. I have been dealing with them since December (2 months now). I place an online hold on a car and within 24 hours I called to say I did not need the hold anymore and would like the 100% refund they state they provide on their website. I spoke to billing and to the owner and was assured they would give me a refund but they never did. Now I have been calling twice a week for two months and the owner is never in and has never called me back so I can get this issue handled. This place is a SCAM!

The place is very clean. Was helped promptly and comfortable. Chase is a cool dude.

I had a phenomenal experience at Prestman Auto. I went there on a whim after I had spent the WEEK going from dealership after dealership of awkward salesmen, high-pressure situations and horrible coffee. When I arrived at Prestman Auto, I immediately felt like I had arrived at the right place. The place was stocked full of great looking vehicles. I was very impressed. I walked into their showroom and instantly felt like I was transported on the set of some new sexy Matthew McConaughey movie. It looks like a bachelors pad with Ferraris and better coffee in it.

I was offered bottled water AND EVEN BETTER COFFEE. I drank both. All this place needed was a moist toilette and a masseuse. I was then approached by Tracy Ball. When I met the guy, I immediately knew this guy was going to sell me a car. His great energy, killer smile and no pressure attitude was just a breath of fresh air after what I had to deal with.

I was there targeted a Black 2008 Limited Ford Escape. The vehicle was just my type and had everything but navigation and a time machine. I was wondering why the vehicle was priced so low as I was unaware this place specialized in salvage titles and insurance buy-backs. Once I found out (thanks Google Reviewers), I got a little nervous but then made sure to do my homework on the vehicle. Tracy explained to me in detail that the vehicle was hit from the rear and showed me the damage on the vehicle with an original photo. I came around closing time, but then Tracy and I agreed to meet the next day.

The next day I met with Tracy in the morning and took the car to get checked out by some trusted mechanics... FOR A REALLY LONG TIME. I ran errands, ate burgers and got nice look at this car. The frame work was still pretty good, the engine was perfect for 64K miles, all it needed was a little frame work in the rear from the previous incident . when I returned, I pointed out everything that I & my team of mechanics found and Prestman Auto agreed to fix them at no additional cost!! New tires as well! I was in heaven when I came in the next day, they detailed the vehicle, the corrections had been made and it was done deal. We did the paperwork and I drove off in style.
