Do not make the mistake of living here! Read my experience below over 2 years of living there.

Pros: Walking distance to the metro. The pool is nice during the summer. That's it.

Cons: Management is nonexistent. (Not entirely their fault as they are very understaffed. 2-3 people in the office for several hundred units is a joke) There is no 24/7 phone number to call in case of emergency. Once during a storm my roof started leaking very bad!! I called the emergency # and an answering service in Dallas, Texas answers. Unacceptable.

There is RAMPANT CRIME. My car was broken into twice and my motorcycle seat and bag ripped off once, even though I paid extra for secured private parking directly under a security camera. All three times I reported it to management and they just told me to file a police report. They couldn't have cared less. Now according to website and contract, there is SUPPOSED to be a security guard patrolling the complex 24/7. NOT ONCE, in the 24 months that I lived there, did I ever see a security guard walking around at night or on the weekends.

The doors are constantly broken so there is no sense of security. Anyone at any time could walk in and roam the halls. There were tons of break-ins/burglaries reported during my time there. Management's solution: Put up a memo in the elevator telling residents to be more alert and to lock your doors. Again, what a joke.

Last but not least, if you live here, I hope you don't have a job that requires you to be on time. The garage doors that open and close to grant access to the parking garage are constantly breaking. On multiple occasions I had to sit there in my car (sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 25 minutes) for someone to come and open the door so I could drive out. God forbid this happens on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday when management is not present. Since there is no 24/7 phone # to call, there is nobody there to help you, you could be forced to let your car outside all night risking being broken into.

Bottom line: this place is not safe! It's a nice new building that looks pretty. But it's built right in front of a section 8 housing complex. Please, if you're considering living here. Come and walk around the local neighborhood to get a feel of the types of neighbors you will inherit. It is not safe. Your car WILL be broken into. Your apartment might be broken into. It is a complete roll of the dice. Don't risk your safety and your belongings.

I have had an 18 month lease here. I move out at the end of July. I live in the building off to the side unconnected to the others. The only complaints I have had have been the smell of the food my neighbors make seeping into my closet (which is the biggest and most spacious closet I've ever had btw), the walls are kind of thin and I can hear the children of my neighbors above me running through their apt in the morning, and the trash chute door is broken so when it's full the hallways smells. Oh and there isn't much guest parking.

Other than that, I had had no major problems. Any issues with the apt and management has maintenance here very quickly on all occasions and the issues are resolved. My balcony has a great view of the pool (Im literally writing this watching a deer in the small wooded area behind the property) and my apartment is very spacious. Neighbors are kind. The gym is great. I love the grilling area. I walk to the metro to get to the city in about 8 minutes everyday. The location can't be beat

I thankfully have not experienced any crime on my part or by my guests although we are alerted as a community every time an incident occurs. I do appreciate that.

The only reason I am not renewing my lease is because rent has gone up a COUPLE hundred dollars and I can absolutely not afford that.

*im only writing this because I felt the property was misrepresented. I'm not a staff member and was not encouraged by any other party to do this.

I am giving this complex 2 stars simply because the area itself is nice HOWEVER........my move in has been disappointing to say the least. I have been in my unit since Jan 8 and have had nothing but issues even prior to move in.
1. 3 days prior to my scheduled move in date (which has been on the books for at least 2 months) I received a telephone call asking if I could push my date back as the prior residents were allowed to stay longer than anticipated and trying to get my unit ready in time for me was going to put a strain on the maintenance team. GIRL WHAT??! I have people being paid to move my things who will charge me a fee to reschedule. I have deliveries scheduled who also will charge me to reschedule. I politely declined and the person on the phone understood but I believe due to my inability to be flexible I have been mistreated/mishandled ever since.

2. On day 8 (yeah you read that correctly) of living in my home I had a major water leak from my ceiling which started from the light fixtures in the kitchen and eventually made its way into my living room, water coming down the walls, and dripping from the electrical sockets (which had things plugged in it). I put in an emergency maintenance request. After 15 minutes of no response I called again to stress the severity of the situation. The gentleman came in about an hour an a half and then when he walked into my home he told me there was nothing he could do about the damage and would let his supervisor know. It is now February 3 and the damage STILL....yes STILL has not been repaired. I have holes in my walls.... I have water damage to my ceiling......both of my patio doors are no longer attached to the walls causing cold air to come into the home. It is a MESS... I am TIRED.....all that being said NO ONE from the leasing office has called or come by to give me an update. I have had to track them down on MULTIPLE occasions only to be treated like my time, money i spent to live here and comfort do not matter.

None of this means you will have the same experience. In fact I pray you don t but just be warned. The only thing I asked for was some communication and I was asked to be patient in return. I think I have been patient. Its been 3 weeks and nothing.

I have been trying to get in contact with the property manager since November about a refund that is owed to me and it s April. I find the lack of communication and attention disturbing and disrespectful.

Post Park is a nice community to live in. There are minor issues but the office staff is responsive when you shed light on concerns. The apartments are pricey....but the Hyattsville area is being rejuvenated so I guess the price reflects that.

Last minute looking turned into a great blessing. I viewed Post Park a couple of years back and at the time I could not afford the market rate. Fast forward to now, I happened to see a posting and decided to book a tour. Kudos to Kim a leasing specialist who assisted throughout the whole process. I had a ton of questions and she handled them in a timely manner. I am excited to call post park a home.
I am sure with a lot of negative reviews, people may be nervous however there are few things to take into consideration. The building is only as clean as the residents! Residents should pick up after themselves and not leave trash or their junk in hallways or common areas.
Great space size, decent pricing, beautiful common areas and responsive staff!

I have been living in Post Park for 10 years. When it was ran by Post Park it was well managed the staff was wonderful. Now that MAA is the onwer the property manager they have is the worst she don't seem to care nothing about the residents or the property. You never see her out looking around not less she is coming to check out asn apartment that is being cleaned for the next tenant that going to rent or she is leaving for the day. I truly care wish Post Park still owned. The grounds or not kept the security doors are always broken, the hallways are not kept up, the elevator floor not cleaned half the time. You put a worker in you may get it taken care of within a week. I tell anyone and everyone I see moving into Post Park/MAA I hope you're not sorry later. The only reason I renewed was because it's so expensive moving.

I just moved in the property not to long ago and my over all experience with leasing has been great Addi is the best I would recommend any and everyone to go to her she's very professional and you can tell she really cares about her residents at the property I am looking forward to my new journey living in Post Park.

Hello, I've called the resident care number and filed a claim, I've also sent multiple e-mails and have yet to receive a response to any of the incidents that have occurred within the last 2 months. I have zero confidence that you all care about your residents.

Do not live here under any circumstance. I ve lived here since 2010 and I can honestly say the way this building has gone down while the prices have gone up is not and will never be worth it. The building is managed by a company that does not care about their residents. Every rule has been changed to the benefit of the company. You will see trash in the parking garage ALL the time, the leasing office people are always late and can t remembe who you are after years of living here. There is trash in the hallways and the garage at all times. Coming home at night does not feel safe because people are allowed to hang out in the parking garage with their friends smoking. On top of it, maintence is not responsive. It s a bad plce to live based on the HUGE price increases! Stay somewhere else!

If I have to choose between post park and my other choice, I will go with my other choice and not look back at post park. I moved into my current building barely a month ago and fews days ago my two luggages where stolen from my apartment building upon my arrival from a trip. I have replayed the whole scenario in my head countless times. Its been an horrific few days for me because the property manager is the most nonchalant/unconcerned person I have ever come across in life. I have taken my loss that I may never get my things back but its really sad that we pay too much and little or nothing is done about the security of this property. I'm scared to walk out of my apartment and even when I'm able to walk pass where the incident happened, I can't help but cry. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT WHAT ITS CUT OUT TO BE!!!

Post Park is an awesome property to call home. They are well managed with an amazing staff. The addition of resident activities in addition to a nice gym, community room and business center makes the experience so well worth it. The maintenance team is the best ever. Great home away from home.

I moved into Post Park in September 2018 and was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Addi. She was very through and pleasant. She made the experience there great.

I became very ill after moving into the apartment and had to stop working to have two surgeries. I went to the rental office and spoke to the Property Manager Amanda McGraw and was very transparent as to what I was dealing with and even provided documentation from my medical professionals. I made sure to communicate with her how I would get payments into the office. At the time I was going through social services, salvation army and church's. Because I suffer from Bi-polar my case worker was working on getting me assistance so that I wouldn't become homeless. She smiled and said that's fine as long as you continue to bring payments in and keep the communication open we should not have any issues. Well with all of that said, I had the second surgery on the 7th of last month and the day after my surgery the Sheriff's were knocking on my door telling me they were getting ready to put my things on the street. So, I had to watch these strangers throw my things in black bags and put them out on East-West Highway in the rain and snow in my pajamas!! While all of this was happening I called my case worker to tell her I was being sat out on the street. She called Ms. Amanda McGraw to ensure that the rent would be paid in full by two agencies but she wouldn't allow it. I never received an eviction letter from the courts at all and I have no reason to lie about that. I might be bi-polar but I'm not crazy to want my things sat on the street in my pajamas in the rain and snow.

Please understand if I wasn't transparent and I was trying to take advantage of the situation I could understand the disrespect. But to just be released from the hospital and be thrown on the street like that is truly just unjust and border line prejudiced and inhuman. Many of my items were stolen from the workers that packed up my things such as jewelry, both bathroom accessories, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, laundry detergent, trash bags, cleaners and jewelry curio and other items. I have never felt so disrespected in all of my life. So please do not let the nice exterior fool you because there are many other issues that should be dealt with.

As of now I am homeless with no family with a case manager trying to find me a place to stay.

OLD POST 9/18
Three weeks ago my life came to a screeching halt. My father became prey to a reverse mortgage shortly after my mother passed in 2003. In May of 2017 he passed and I tried to find out as much as possible to keep the home. However, that didn't happened, so I was notified on a Monday evening by Cosmopolitan Investment Group that I would be evicted the following Monday, which only gave me 7 days to gather up as much as I could after being in the home for 50 years. Needless to say I wasn't prepared for such harsh treatment being that my father was World War II and Korean War veteran . On Friday afternoon I ventured out to get more boxes to continue packing and to get a PO Box because at that point, I knew my son and I were considered homeless. But, on my way to the Post Office I just looked at Post Park and said "Lord if this is in your will..let it be done" Well it was in his will! And with the help of the best Senior Leasing Consultant -(Addi Aliu) I've dealt with made it possible to move in to my new apartment on the 21st of September. Addi Aliu not only is professional but compassionate as well. I would recommend Post Park to a friend or just someone who is looking for a beautiful apartment home. Addi is still very attentive and concerned about the overall experience in the community, along with the other staff there as well. There is never a time you can go into the leasing office and there is a feeling that no one wants to assist in whatever issue you may have. I appreciate the entire staff at Post Park and hope you will to.

I have lived at Post Park apartments for 3 years. ...

I have lived at Post Park apartments for 3 years. At first, I had no issues with the complex. We lived on the 6th floor in the back our first year. No bugs or mice. It was spacious and very clean at move-in. Then at the end of the first lease, we moved down two floors due to cheaper renewal rates. The move-out process was smooth. We didn't owe anything during this move-out (please remember this sentence while reading). However, our second apartment at this complex was disaster from the start. It was NOT clean. We had to re-clean our kitchen. We saw dead roaches in the cabinets. The cleaning staff had to return to clean again. And low and behold, we got BEDBUGS! But Post Park did pay for the treatment and after the treatment we had no bedbugs. Other than that, we had no issues during the year and a half in this second apartment.
There was some break-ins for cars and apartments during our stay here. Luckily, we didn't have any experiences with this. The gate was broken almost every other week. So if you want a reliable gated community, this is not the place. Also, both apartments was a far walk to the trash which isn't terrible because I don't want to be near the trash compactor in case it leads to bugs, mice. And let's talk about management now. We had new management every year. There was a different lady when I first moved in (loved her). Then there was different people when we signed up for the second lease (they were great). And then there was a new set of people at move-out (not great). And one more complaint about this place is WEED, WEED, and more WEED. I had family visiting one weekend and the smell was so strong near the pool we actually just had to leave. The smell is so strong at night when I have to go out to empty the trash, gym, or just come in late. I sent an email to management but I still smell weed. It wasn't like this in the beginning though. I would say it's gotten worse in the past few months or so.

So we moved out on July 11 and our apartment was clean (much cleaner than move-in). We only took a few pictures though. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE WHEN YOU MOVE OUT. Take a photo of every space, every corner. They ripped us off when it came to charges. Remember I said to remember the sentence that said "we didn't owe anything during our first move-out". Well we moved the same items from that apartment to the new one and did the same thing in the new one, which is not damage the place smh. Here is a summary of the charges (wall treatment over $300, carpet stain $50). We had no pets and no children. We were students basically studying all of the time. We did have one small carpet stain near our trash can where something leaked from trash one day. The wall stains look like MINOR scrapings from items. If your dresser, bed, desk chair, storage containers TOUCH the wall, that's a charge! It looks like basic wall paint can cover some of those stains in the pictures they sent us. Yeah you would think (slaps forehead). This place is fee-driven and money hungry. I forgot to add other hidden fees that they tend to charge during your stay here like utility fee of $3 something. They also did my classmates the same way when they moved out. They warned me to take photos and we didn't take many. So I'm telling you to please take photos of everything! It's ridiculous.

I live here now, about a year. Watch out for lease...

I live here now, about a year. Watch out for lease, it's a year by year basis, so after the first year expires, you have to sign another full year and won't be able to go a a month to month basis. The month to month is ASTRONOMICAL, i mean like a $1000 more per month. Greedy baztartds.

The parking will be an issue for your guests, tiny amount of spaces left for guests, so if your friends and family come over and the guest parking is full, as usually the case since they don't allocate many spaces, they will be force to look for a parking somewhere else. Nice, they also decided recently to allocate part of the guest parking spots to the Nail salon they opened in the facility, nice as if there were plenty of spaces to start with, absolutely no regard for tenants, they only care about more $$$$$

They will not tell you about the insurance you have to buy when they first quote you the monthly rent, so ask for it, they leave the hidden stuff until you decide to sign the lease, so ask for it.

The place is not clean to the the luxury standards they claim, it's a lie, my floor starts to SMELL and they haven't cleaned it. And they are very expensive, you don't anything in return, it all goes to they pockets.

You can also hear everything in other apartments, laughs, talking etc , so you have to keep it quite or everyone will hear you.

If you have guests overnight, they charge you for parking $5 a night, talking about GREEEEEEEED.

The pace feels closed up to me, feels like a prison complex, since they tried to leave a little space as possible for people to breath.

Great living experience at first. Then ownership of the property changed. And then it went downhill. Trash and food in the halls. Dog faces. Rodents. Luckily not in my apartment, but a friend caught 6 mice in the days he waited for the exterminator to come. If visiting the office Kehinde is awesome. The manager is a ghost. And the woman in the third space is mean and surly. Big apartments and big balconies

I've been at Post Park now for about 5 1/2 months ...

I've been at Post Park now for about 5 1/2 months in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom and its been a decent experience for the most part. Not going to lie though, when we moved in the apartment was not move in ready and had to have work done that lasted about two weeks post our lease start date. since living here the community manager and leasing staff has changed 100%. that caused a lot of issues with communication or lack there of but all in all our initial issues were tended to within a timely manner.

The biggest turnoffs for us at this point is the lack of parking in our building. (the smaller one with only 4 floors) so beware if you find that building more appealing and have a vehicle because the parking wars are real if you don't have a reserved space. the cost of parking for a reserved space is the exact same cost as an unassigned space so if you're looking to lease here make sure you let them know you want/ need a reserved space because it took us 4 months of being on a waiting list to finally get our reserved space. Also guest parking is really non existent which is a huge problem so if you like to entertain or even just have guest over from time to time get ready to tell your guest to park across the street and walk because there are less than a dozen guest parking spaces for a property with over 400 units that stay occupied!

the other down fall in my opinion is the extra added fees they ad on monthly. I get that we pay rent + water + sewage but its ridiculous that we also have to pay a base fee which is NEVER the same from month to month but at this point I'm just glad we opted for the 10 month lease because come May we are out of here! its cute and all but it gets old quickly!

@Property Manager- Please take the time to get Liza some much needed customer service training/etiquette. I've had to encounter her on two separate occasions while touring. Both times, she was dismissive, irritated, abrupt with communication, passive-aggressive, and disingenuous. Liza- prospective renters are not interruptions to your day of personal conversations with residents or co-workers, prospective renters are not to be called over to you as you sit down lazily (get up to greet them), speak to them with care (like you want your leasing bonus). Do not make them feel like their questions are wasting your precious time. Understand that a building can be beautiful inside/out, well maintained with great features, but a poor staff can run prospective renters and residents right out. Understand you are there because they walk through those doors! NOW- the units are a great value for the money, amenities are good, location is great and accessible. Buildings are older and hallways/corridors need some updating and cooling ( so humid!). Parking I heard can be a challenge for residents and guests. But all that said, I would still give Post Park a chance for sure. Value/Positives outweigh the negatives.

Post Park is a very nice community that is fairly quiet and easily accessible to shops, metro, and plenty of food options. Office management staff are very helpful, and patient. They communicate any issues, and work with the tenant to resolve any issue. The prices are also very reasonable for the amount of space that you get.

The only think to keep in mind is that the rent price quoted does not include trash, water, and sewage fees. Those are charged separately, but most months it should not run you more than $40-$60 depending on your usage. Overall I am pleased with my stay, and am currently looking to move into a smaller unit (since I will be living alone). I have not completed the process yet, but so far it has been seamless.

The apartment itself was pretty nice. I stayed for 15 months. Occasionally there were terrible smells from the trash chute or dog poop in the hallways and loads of gnats and a few wasps inside the apartment, but it was otherwise livable.

Beware: The management company and leasing office staff will nickel and dime you for everything. My car was even towed off the property even though I had a parking pass and parked where I was supposed to. I had to pay the towing company cash to get my car back, and was not refunded once they realized they weren t supposed to tow my car. I only got a credit from post park for my next months rent, not my cash back. It was a huge hassle. The Management company never returned any of my phone calls.

Kehinde Kent Adeoti, the new property manager, and Adam Reade, the assistant property manager, enforce protocols onto residents that are not listed in the lease and will impose fees in addition to your rent if they are not adhered to. Make sure you read the entire lease and when they impose fees or extra rules, ask where that is listed in the lease and go from there.

Be aware. Ask questions. Get it in writing.

****PROSPECTIVE RENTERS BEWARE**** As a resident of Post Park, our complex has experienced almost 9 break-ins in the last couple of months. Burglaries are literally taking place every couple of days. Doors are being forced in and random strangers are constantly accessing "controlled-access" entry ways to the complex. I've lived here for more than 2 years and the complex has consistently gone down in appearance, safety, and general appeal. Of course the leasing office and management company issue the standard "As much as we all regret such incidents, we cannot assure that they will not occur. There are, however, steps that can be taken to reduce the risk." To add insult to injury the leasing staff is very apathetic to the break-ins, since for the most part they don't live onsite. Controlled-access doors are often not working. Residents routinely drive through the gate arm and break the gate access for cars. Trash piles up in the parking garage next to a walking entrance. I could go on, but I hope you get the picture. Oh, one other thing to note...if you expect the property manager to care or at least try to convince them to care, don't worry about it, they'll be gone within a year. This place has had more than 3-4 property managers in less than 2 years (this isn't including the regular staff changes). Please seriously consider NOT living at this apartment complex before signing on the dotted line. Maybe more bad reviews will force the hands of an indifferent management company.

Its proximity to the metro is great but my roommate's car was constantly crashed into in the garage by maintenance moving dumpsters. It led to thousands in repairs. Management started deleting security camera footage once the police got involved. There is also horrible insulation. You can hear everything from your neighbors above and Alterra (the neighboring apartment community) cuts grass at 6am which means no sleep at Post Park. Management is completely irresponsible and unaccountable. They failed to rectify my noise complaint or transfer me to another apartment although I was willing to pay the transfer fee. They wanted me to sign an entirely new lease. After complaining repeatedly, I learned that the loud neighbor living above me was Post Park staff who told me that I had no recourse. Also, management started cancelling my maintenance requests, claiming they'd handle it. They never did. It seemed retaliatory. There were also armed break-ins and robberies, even while people were at home. I moved out and cannot be happier elsewhere!

After nearly a year here, I'll say it's really nice. I like living here. I had a rough, really awful move-in and it was terribly stressful and chaotic. When things settled down, it was quiet. I like my view. I like my apartment. I like the location. 4 stars, solid.

Update: I live here again and management decides when and if they'll post your payments to your account. My roommate and I have proof of when we paid and between Caroline Brossy, the Assistant Manager, and Erica Dale, the head manager, telling us that they keep accurate records when indeed they do not, we are honestly sick of it. We have been filed on even when payments were satisfied as well as told cases were dropped when they weren't. Received unsigned warrants of restitution that were no valid or even needed as well as been told on multiple occasions that they pretty much don't care. Miscommunications happen. We have received emails saying that if we are late despite having no judgements against us that they will proceed with eviction even though in the state of MD that is not legal. We find them to be harassing and rude and extremely unfriendly in the customer service department. No one can ever accurately answer questions and all of the leasing professionals seem to know the same amount of nothing when it comes to what's going on. We shouldn't have to have you check your cameras to confirm when we paid you. I have also been denied a receipt when I asked for one from Caroline Brossy but just the other day Erica Dale said whenever you request one they are supposed to give it to you. At this point we have gathered several residents who have had similar issues with evidence and plan on filing a report with the housing authority and possibly even a lawyer. We pay too much to be treated as such. All in all between trash, mice, and management find somewhere else to live.

I have been living here since January. Management is okay however, I have mice and management is doing anything combat it except forcing me to stay in my unit. They want me to pay almost three thousand dollars to transfer to a new unit. The building is okay, the amenities are nice and it's close to the city.

Been living here for a while now and it has been decent at best. Trash is the main issue I have with this apartment complex. The building has no adequate or sensible plan for residents to dispose of trash. I live on an entire floor with no trash chute or compartment. The nearest places to dump trash is 2 floors UP or a 2 minute walk up a flight of stairs through the garage to the dumpster. This isn't just a problem that I have but one many residents share. In fact there is trash on a daily basis from my walk to my apartment from the garage due to the fact there is no proper reciprocals conveniently located. This has been brought up to management and their solution is to thrift through trash to try and blame certain residents, sometimes inaccurately, instead of create trash disposal places or implement valet trash. There are reports of residents having rodents and mice which comes as no surprise with trash being all over the place. Below are trash pics that I have taken in the span of 2 weeks walking to and from my apartment.

There are also break in's and robberies within apartments and cars in the garage that are concerning. And some of the communal properties like the grills and business center do not consistently work.

I am being so critical because with the price and costs to live here, the quality of living should match.

Do not move here! Stay away! This place is a disaster!
Horrible management and maintenance screw.
Filthy common areas; smells like trash and smoke on every floor. Constant break ins!
We've paying A LOT of $$$$ on rent, plus $350 amenity fee and this is the type of service we get?????
Filthy swimming pool, never opens on time!
We re paying amenity fee on time...why don t we get the fricking pool open on time???? Why don t we get working computers and printer in the lab????? The printer has been out of order for a couple of months.
When are we going to have hallways, elevators, parking, stairwells cleaned/vacuumed?
You need to address this ASAP!!!

I just moved into the complex and the office staff are amazing. Eliza and Brooklyn were very friendly and welcoming to me and they even assisted in the moving process to help it go smoother than expected. I've lived in other apartments in other states and have never received this type of customer service. I would recommend Post Park Maryland to anyone looking to move to the area.

I was very excited to move to Post Park, and ran into difficulties initially, but continued to go with the site. Wrong move. The staff Addi (awesome with my transitioning in the building) Kim, and Ken have all been good at handling any concerns I may have. I recently had an issue where I used a different payment method, I upload my bank account vs using bank card bc there is a charge when using cards, apparently I mistyped my bank info and, after receiving a payment received notice in a timely manner (never ever paid my rent late) I later receive an email from the property, stating I put an invalid bank account number and now my payment is considered late, nearly $100 added..I contacted the property manager, and informed her of the mishap, and reminded her that I have NEVER paid rent late, (not just at PP) and ask if the late fee can be removed, and let her know I would immediately (soon as we hang up pay the balance). She quickly reported that it couldn t be done, never did she say let me look, I will see what I can do, or anything of the sort. I myself also work in housing and have worked in Property Management and know that changes can be made. I experienced this before where she immediately told me no something couldn t be done, but I took that specific situation higher up. It disappoints me that she has no empathy for the residents, and really could care less. Yet, we are exposed to shopping carts all throughout the community and at times even inside the building, stuck elevator entrance doors, trash on the grounds, filthy trash rooms, and I can go on. I try my best not to complain about about a lot.... but these are considered luxury apartments. It upset me very much that she was so quick to say NO without evening attempting. Many residents in my building have discussed how better the building was before the new property manager was hired.

I have lived here for about 4 years now and it great. I especially like that maintenance requests are usually completed within 24 hours. I also love the CARES team, which organizes community events like Wine-Down Wednesdays where you can actually get to know some of your neighbors.

I'm so excited to say that today I renewed my 4/16/18 lease post park has made me extremely happy we have had a few management changes but they have all been for the best . The maintenance staff is great and completes all work order within a timely manner. The pool area has just been refurbished and looks great, rumor has it that we may be getting a grill poolside which i'm keeping my fingers crossed nothing like a burnt hot dog off the grill . I was a little concerned in the beginning about the trash but somehow they have managed to keep it orderly and someone has been taking care of the trash on weekends. I had a slight rent increase but it was because i moved in while a special was being promoted so i knew i wouldn't be able to keep such a great deal Emmie ,Kim, Eugenia and Ken have been extremely patient and professional as I know for a fact I could never do their job some residents have the craziest complaint but i will keep that comment to myself. If your looking for a nice relaxing place to stay with great food ,shopping, entertainment
and min to metro come hang out with us at Post Park so you can see what happiness is

In my experience Post Park at one point in time was a nice community to call home. Unfortunately, it has taken a drastic change for the worse. The overall maintenence, landscaping, and security is neglected, and leaves alot to be desired. There is a revolving door in management, which appears to not listen to the voices of the residents.

I have lived in at Post Park for two years. The good qualities outweigh any negative. The location is unbeatable (5-15 minute walk from three grocery stores, the metro, target, a dog park, ect). Our apartment was spacious and well maintained. The office staff (specifically the current crew led by Kehinde) are extremely reliable and do an adequate job responding to emails and calls promptly. Post Park is dog friendly, we love the trash and dog-pick -up bags stationed around the property, and the parking is readily available for those who pay for spaces.

Our only complaints are that the stairwells were not well maintained, Guest parking is not monitored so residents often use those spaces, and there is a package room instead of a package concierge (we have had several issues with folks stealing or breaking items in the mail rooms).

Management has been ok for the most part. When we moved in the door wouldn't close all the way for the patio and we had to bug them a few times to finally get a contractor for the door. The other few repairs we've needed they have responded to quickly, like the toilet and the washing machine.

BUT they've had a lot of break-ins to cars and things recently, and someone broke into our car and stole the key fob to get into the garage. This is getting ridiculous. They finally said they're having a security guard walk the garage at night "until further notice." Reading other reviews and from all the break-ins, they really just need one permanently. WHY ARE WE PAYING AMENITY FEES TO GET OUR CARS BURGLARIZED. They have little get-togethers for the residents about 3 times per month with food and things. That money would be better spent on security.

Decided to leave a review since there weren't any recent ones. I've lived at Post for a year and absolutely love it. The features and amenities are great. The staff is friendly and helpful and maintenance is responsive when needed. Burglaries (to my knowledge) have only happened twice since I've been a resident here and some of the apartments come with an alarm system. I didn't give five stars only because some of the doors and walls were cheaply painted and put together that they cracked a bit after a couple of months living here and our balcony ceiling molding began to fall off and still hasn't been fixed. Parking is a nightmare for guests (and residents I'm sure, although I don't drive). Overall it's a great community and great price for what you get! Only 15 minutes from the city.

Only If I could give 0 stars.

DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE TO MOVE IN HERE!!!

I have been a resident at Post Park since July and consider my moving in here a big mistake ( unfortunately I am stuck with leaving here until next July). Let me start from how poorly the place is built. We can literally here every step they make, not to mention there is loud music from their unit all the time, and they move things in the middle of the night which results in us not being able to sleep. it is extremely annoying, I contacted the management office multiple time about our issue and nothing have changed. This building is advertised as luxury apartments but is nothing more than college dorm where people throw their trash in the hallways and it smells like weed everywhere. In my opinion, this is all due to poor management and just not following up when there as an issue.
Second, there are ants all over the apartment from the very first day we moved in.
Third, there was a mouse in the apartment and how there won't be when the hallways and staircases in the building are never cleaned. The only ones that are being cleaned are the main building ones no one cares for the rest of the property.
So please do not make the mistake to move in here, unless you don't wanna be awaken every night from your neighbors and no one in the management cares to make a change or you don't want to eat your food with ants!!!
