Insanely great hotel with a picturesque view.
And if you asked us, we were even able to have breakfast at 6.30 a.m.

I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Waited for food for over an hour and got nothing, absolutely unprofessional!

Worst Swiss hotel ever.
First room we had the aircon didn't work and it smelled like cigarette smoke coming from ventilation intake in the bathroom. Next day we got another room. Same cigarette smell problem and no aircon at all. Plus this time the coffee maker wasn't working, so no coffee. After telling the receptionist, he told us he'd bring coffee. Never anybody showed up. Sheets were dirty and room was dusty in general.
Avoid this place at all cost!

Price performance is not right. Hotel was probably upscale, but is now in need of renovation.
Hotel lives from a good location, room had a very nice view of the lake and mountains - but the mattress was saggy, sofa, coat hanger, hairdryer and floor lamp were defective - lamp must be unplugged because dimmer was broken. Even with all the lights on, the room was very dark.
Overall poor lighting in the whole hotel - light is everywhere too dark, flickering or completely broken.
Choice of food - evening menu and breakfast buffet - is absolutely not suitable for people with intolerances or who value healthy or seasonal and regional or meat or animal-free food. It's all very sugar, fat and meat-heavy. Quality of the food was mixed.
Spa / pool: no corona protection concept, not even notes with max. Pers recommendation for sauna or pool.
Gym: Half of the lamps and devices out of order - cobwebs on the ceilings. Looks like nothing has been cleaned or serviced in months.
Staff mostly friendly and hard-working, but seemed rather inexperienced.
The service manager in the restaurant in the evening was a disaster - he ran into other employees in front of guests, spread a stressful mood and was rude to guests.
We left one night earlier than planned and would not recommend the hotel to anyone: It has various other hotels right on the lake, I would try any other after my stay, but not to the Post Hotel.

Location top. Certainly not the newest and freshest hotel. I ate through eating. Once good and once bad. Staff speaks partly no or bad German

Located in front of the bus station and the ferry terminal. we had the great view of the lake from our room, the staff at the reception was friendly, they offer a lot of services ( we didn't try their services as we stayed only for a night ) , free wifi, free parking lot, abundant breakfast but their cappucino was awful.

Small but nice spa. Deluxe lake view rooms highly recommended, really had a great view. Gladly again !

A good 4 star hotel right on the lake. Our room was very nice, modern and well-kept and was on the 3rd floor.
We really enjoyed the large balcony with a fantastic view over the lake and the surrounding mountains.

The room had a modern, large bathroom with sliding glass door, bathtub and rain shower, and the toiletries were renewed daily.


The breakfast room is well-kept and the staff very attentive. The dishes at the buffet were attractive and delicious, muesli, fresh fruit, meat and cheese platters and the egg dishes were freshly prepared on request.

The hotel also has the la Rose restaurant with a beautiful terrace directly on the lake. In the round glass pavilion, you can enjoy the good but high-priced food even in bad weather.

Great, friendly welcome, a room with a dream view of the lake! tidy room, clean, delicious breakfast.

Well done to the whole kitchen team, great menu and very nice presentation.
We will probably come for another romantic weekend to enjoy the spa and pool if possible with 5 degrees warmer ?!
Just a tip!
Stop taking the bathrobe in hotels, there was more for us !!

We were greeted by a helpful receptionist called Valentina she is a credit to the hotel.

The hotel was clean and pool ,/ Gym area kept clean it was great to relax after busy day's sightseeing.

The breakfast was substantial and waiting staff friendly .

We booked half board meals which were only ok you do not have any choice to choose anything other so it was beef for both night's,
Once with mash then with rice.

We felt a bit isolated as there wasn't any other guests eating in the restaurant and no background music or atmosphere.
Antonio waiting staff was welcoming enough and attentive.

The drinks.. we were given a discount card of 15% by the receptionist
but unfortunately this do not count after all .

Hotels restaurant prices 8,50 for a medium bottle of water is a bit steep and 48 for bottle of cheap bottle of Cinzano .

Parking there are a few spaces on the street but if you like to pay extra there's a hotel car park.

The down side you do not have any English Channels and since there is no life any where around or outside the hotel its ok for just a few days but would not stay there for longer.

Great staff. Maybe it's not the most updated hotel arounf. But, it all meets or exceeds the expectations.

The traditionally genuine Swiss hotel restaurant has unfortunately been taken over by the Chinese. What a pity.

Receptionists do not speak French, but English or German.
The +: nice room, clean, comfortable bed
The -: air conditioning did not work, no door to the bathroom-wc, but a curtain ....

Great views of the lake. Updated bathroom, decent beds. Absolutely nothing nearby to do (outside of the hotel restaurant and bar). Design is strange and inconsistent. Seems to cater to the Far East population of tourists. We went with a tour group, so we did not choose this hotel.

Nice rooms and great views. Gym Top! Great equipment selection and views! Wellness area was good. Breakfast selection good.

Aging hotel at a significant price.
The bed was broken, no lights in the room, dirty and torn curtains, sheets with holes, etc ...
To finish positively the breakfast was good and the view is amazing

Room nice and clean but unfortunately poorly insulated and therefore quite noisy. Great location and view. Wellness area not very big and some broken. Very little seating by the pool.

Nightmare hotel. Cold rooms, broken heating, dirty and outdated. Lifts not working. The entertainment room was inhabited by a shady individual who slept half naked and with the door open. The spa is shabby and practically non-existent. Liar and unfriendly staff. Not even worth 1 star. The restaurant is nothing short of scandalous, cold, unqualified staff and disgusting and badly cooked dishes. We checked out immediately the following morning. To be avoided like the plague.

As Hotel Graziella had to close due to the Coronavirus, we were upgraded to Post Hotel in Weggis.
For the same price (approx 80 Fr / night and for two), we were treated to a magnificent hotel, with indoor swimming pool, fitness and spa, room overlooking the lake, and upscale restaurant with the possibility of eating under a dome of glass, on the quays (the semi gourmet hunt was a treat).
The breakfast at 15 fr was very filling and excellent.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Even offering a glass of prosecco on arrival. High class !

Covered parking a few hundred meters above the hotel at a rate of 6 fr / day.
Also possible near the hotel: blue zone spaces for Sundays and at night.
The hotel also offers parking in the basement of the building.

Weggis is super quiet and therefore ideal for disconnecting a few days and enjoying the magnificent landscapes of the 4 cantons region.

Arrived we squeezed outside and enjoyed the beautiful view, however, the service was underground and very slow .. as from dwn photos refer to plates had cracks. Appetizer not especially main course small portion nicely prepared, to the question if I was allowed to have ketchup, I was horrified looked at and said it has sauce on the plate. However, I insisted on the ketchup and got it dan. Half an eternity later he came back again and told us they had a dessert we replied that we dis know and would love to have him. Dismayed, he went away and brought us the dessert Tiramisu. This really one of the best I've ever had, after all, a downer .. And of course the beautiful view!

Fitness, spa and right on the lake ... great value for money, great breakfast and nice staff ... always come back with pleasure

They are well educated, breakfast very good.
However, it leaves you wanting in the spa, it is very small and has no hot water. Very old towels and robes.

Top location right on the lake with private parking

The hotel seems bigger than it is. The staff are very friendly. The Covid-19 measures are observed. The rooms are fine and the view is great. The restaurants are open to hotel guests and very fine dishes are served. The spa area has a beautiful swimming pool with a pleasant water temperature. Not all saunas were in operation because of Covid-19. The breakfast buffet was very rich and fine. The landing stage for the scheduled boats is right outside the front door. In summer it has an outdoor area right on the lake.

Sitting at the lake is very nice, cappuccino was good, cake too.

Getting on in years! Breakfast was everything from cold bacon to ice-cold eggs. Swimming pool very, very dark. It's a shame, not to be recommended

Positive:
-Central location with a great view of Lake Lucerne
-Eat okay in the restaurant
-Breakfast has quite a good selection
-Wellness area very empty and modern
-Modern large rooms with chic furnishings and good facilities
-for Swiss conditions the price is ok

Negative:
-Staff speaks little German
-They wanted to rebook us into a worse hotel (from the same owner) for the same price because the hotel was supposedly overbooked. In the end we were almost the only guests. We heard the same situation from another guest at the reception. Brazen rip-off!
-Service is underground. Restaurant staff speaks hardly any German and is uninformed.
-Wellness area is untidy (used towels etc. are lying around)
- Hardly any free parking spaces (5), all other guests have to use the CHF 15 underground car park
-Rooms are only superficially cleaned, partly thick layers of dust on each piece of furniture.
-Balcony in need of renovation
-Mattresses are extremely soft and saggy.
-Bathroom is only separated from the rest of the room by a sliding glass door with a curtain (no privacy)
-Music in the restaurant plays relatively loud throughout the day until it closes in the evening (10:30 p.m.), so you can hear it even when the balcony door is closed.
-Rightly noisy location as the jetty and bus stop right in front of the door. Z.T. also disturbance of the peace by other guests at night.

Conclusion: You can do it once, but not for several days. You can tell that the hotel used to be more exclusive, but the good times seem to be behind the Posthotel.

The reception is good and the staff are helpful, the view of the rooms is great, but the sound of the ships is disturbed from the balcony because it is at the ferry terminal even if the glass is closed ...
But the parking is written that it is free, and they asked us for 15 francs per night.

Pity. I expected more from such an establishment.
The welcome is different if you are Swiss German or French
The rooms are large but lack a check before renting it.
The cupboards are full of dust
It lacks light when you arrive at night. No main switch and only small lamps.
Bathrobes do not have belts
For breakfast: nothing is homemade.
The bread comes out of a store-bought vacuum bag.
The jam is in part low-end individual.

The room was ok but not very clean. A used coffee cup incl. Spoiled spoon. Unfortunately not everything was great in the bathroom. One side of the bed not freshly made. 1 time not again.

We have been to the POHO several times. Everything great! Great rooms (also got an upgrade), fine food and a very friendly reception. Wellness / fitness is small but nice. Morning meal very good. It's just a bit expensive ... I recommend (if available) to use Groupon vouchers or the promotions (Sunday @ poho) etc. We will definitely stop by there again!

Good:
- comfortable bed
- a very friendly employee at the reception
- Welcome cup
- clean spa area
- Fitness room with some equipment
- ultra-fast lift
- Wireless Internet access

Less good:
- Hotel is getting old, you have to renovate / modernize some things, e.g. the TV (we couldn't even receive SRF ...)
- very small spa and pool area, with far too few loungers
- a rather unfriendly employee at the reception
- Parking costs an extra CHF 15 per night

Very nice hotel, a beautiful view of the lake, the landing stage just opposite. Friendly staff. We spent only one night there. Very good breakfast.

Incredibly good service, young and nice people taking care of the guests. Very clean. Very delicious food (both - breakfast and dinner). Even good internet...what's more - the prices are good as well. SPA was also great. It was not the most shiny/newest place in Switzerland. However the best I have been so far! Even the view from the room's balcony is amazing.

Great breakfast buffet, pool, staff very nice. The furniture is a bit old fashioned but the rooms are cozy. Coffee machine in the room. Great location. We like to be there.

Hotel and room nice, great location. No temperature control in bathroom, so way too hot at night even with the balcony doors wide open in october. Wasting energy.

The worst 4 stars hotel I ever slept!The location is good but without parking no restaurant open and anything around there open!The receptionist are rude and the only thing they have to said was I can't do anything!I don't suggest to anyone!It's better to pay something more and live inside Luzern than here!4 stars

A great place to stay in Switzerland for a relaxing and luxurious vacation at a particularly lucrative price. I would come back here for sure.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, two saunas and swimming pool also available. Beautiful view of the lake.

Various defects: wallpaper comes off, after shower flooding due to insufficient wall covering, mold in the coffee machine's container, bathrobe is missing and half a belt is torn off. Insufficient corona rules during breakfast. For 4 stars completely insufficient!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Price performance ratio is top. There are great restaurants right in and around the hotel. The lake view is awesome from the spacious balcony.

Stayed 1 night with three children in this hotel. Everything was perfect, very nice wellness area, very good restaurant, very friendly staff, the rooms were clean, felt very comfortable, can only recommend this accommodation.
