Positive:

Positive:
-Central location with a great view of Lake Lucerne
-Eat okay in the restaurant
-Breakfast has quite a good selection
-Wellness area very empty and modern
-Modern large rooms with chic furnishings and good facilities
-for Swiss conditions the price is ok

Negative:
-Staff speaks little German
-They wanted to rebook us into a worse hotel (from the same owner) for the same price because the hotel was supposedly overbooked. In the end we were almost the only guests. We heard the same situation from another guest at the reception. Brazen rip-off!
-Service is underground. Restaurant staff speaks hardly any German and is uninformed.
-Wellness area is untidy (used towels etc. are lying around)
- Hardly any free parking spaces (5), all other guests have to use the CHF 15 underground car park
-Rooms are only superficially cleaned, partly thick layers of dust on each piece of furniture.
-Balcony in need of renovation
-Mattresses are extremely soft and saggy.
-Bathroom is only separated from the rest of the room by a sliding glass door with a curtain (no privacy)
-Music in the restaurant plays relatively loud throughout the day until it closes in the evening (10:30 p.m.), so you can hear it even when the balcony door is closed.
-Rightly noisy location as the jetty and bus stop right in front of the door. Z.T. also disturbance of the peace by other guests at night.

Conclusion: You can do it once, but not for several days. You can tell that the hotel used to be more exclusive, but the good times seem to be behind the Posthotel.
