Any time! Beautiful town, sweet shops, good cafes and beautiful flowers

Very beautiful ... worth a visit because it is inserted in an original village context.
Very well kept and not crowded with tourists.
Simple but sumptuous.

I've got a great sense of humor, I want to see the type of cathedral.

The fine church could have something in there while watching the empty altar there could sometimes be some performance

The church was originally made of wood. The first stone walls were built between 1410 and 1420, and in approximately 1450, the church expanded 4 meters to the east and 6 meters to the south.

The church has been destroyed by fire on numerous occasions; in 1508 by the Danish forces and in 1571, 1590 and 1708 by the Russian forces. On May 29, 2006, the exterior roof collapsed in a fire, but with the interior roof intact and the interiors of the cathedral intact. It was reopened in July 2008.

cathedral is a big word, but porvoo is all about very few inhabitants.
The church is very pretty from the outside but inside it is even more special, all natural color of wood and shades of green, very well preserved.
sure, it doesn't deserve to go to see the cathedral but anyway it is on the promenade of the old city ...

Beautiful in any time of the year, quire crowdy during summer season, be patient, the reward is on site

A clean and spectacular Lutheran church in its magnificent simplicity

We followed the Via Crucis Easter show on a church hill that was well suited for the show.

A short drive east of Helsinki, a 50min (50km) drive away, is the picturesque seaside town of Porvoo, a charming town on the shores of the Gulf of Finland and the second oldest town in Finland.

This cathedral is an ancient one, and looks like was made just yesterday! From outside looks a little boring, but inside its fabulous, classical artistic ancient finishing and looks so awesome, it's just amazing, it's a shame that it's not well utilized by the locals.

Then there is this very short door that's one of its kind on an adjustant building, I loved it's serenity, nice and cool place to connect with the inner yourself.

Well-preserved medieval modest beautiful cathedral. Quite rare on the back wall of the pulpit is God's nin in Hebrew YHVH.

You have to walk well and a rollator is very uncomfortable. The streets are equipped with large paving stones.

Gorgeous old church in the middle of the beautiful city of Porvoo! I have spent a lot of time in Porvoo when I was a kid and we really enjoyed going to the chuch for special occasions! go check it out if you are in town

The Lutheran Church of the 13th Century ... thanks to the peacefulness of the Finns, the ideal is preserved

The beautiful and refurbished church is magnificent. Fortunately, the fire was restored!

Interesting cathedral. Not spectacular. There are two balconies above each other, so in total 3 rows of benches for believers. A beautiful but not too large organ. As far as we are concerned, you don't have to travel all the way to Porvoo for this church.

Even the church is easily one of the most beautiful I know but also the surroundings of old Porvoo and great views over Porvoonjoki and the whole town just makes it better.

This church is always beautiful and impressive both inside and out. It plays a crucial role in Porvoo landscape picture. Is seen and heard far away. This summer, tar the roof of the church. The Church of Olives excelling antique cobbled streets that exist in the surrounding Old Porvoo.

Here you can also feel at ease in worship in another Finnish language.

Interesting cathedral which offers a view over the river.

Porvoo Cathedral is one of the famous spot to visit in the beautiful Porvoo. Porvoo isnt very far from Helsinki ,you can take the buses from Helsinki Bus station. Cathedral is very old and symbolic in the town. Town is very old with history. You should visit this cathedral in Porvoo.
