I've always heard good and bad things about PCG. To my delight, the view was more breathe taking than I expected, and the food was good. Make reservation for 2 at lunch a few days ahead of time, almost ensures a window seat.

Food took a little longer than expected due to a mixup and overall it was a great experience and a great view. Would recommend for anyone thinking of taking a date or enjoying a nice night out with friends. I had Wagyu for the first time and was happy to experience that for the first time. The waitress was very nice and gave us a complimentary dessert since our food took a while.

Had a private room and party. Wine not available when party started. Service great. Food, so,so. But the biggest problem was parking, tho validated ticket, the machine did not read it correctly, we waited and got help, but my daughter was flustered when it happened to her too, and paid the $8!

I give the happy hour a five! You get the views and are able to order the same food in the bar. The drinks are happy hour priced.
The restaurant experience was less impressive. I would give that four stars. Go for the happy hour.

Good drinks and great view of downtown Portland at this 30th floor bar. Nice vibe. It's a little hidden. You have to enter through a nondescript office tower, through the lobby to get to the elevator. Worth finding it.

The Happy Hour is the greatest around. Great drinks, wonderful food and great prices are the typical recipe for an outstanding happy hour. They have the best views in all of Portland, Oregon here! They are also amazing at handling the finest of occasions for any party size! Don't overlook this! It's the shining gem of Portland!

Meal was great. I got the French Drip. Personally, it had very little meat. The Duck Fat Fries are also amazing. Amazing service. They had us seated in under minute, and waters all around in the same amount of time.

Our 4th anniversary dinner was here. We made reservations and then had to move out time back 30 min because unsure if we would make it on time. Even though they were completely booked, they did it. They had table available immediately when we arrived or we could wait 30 min for a window. We decided to wait for window and had a drink and appetizer sitting at the piano bar.

When table was ready we were served by Spencer who was prompt, knowledgeable, and very nice. They decorated our table with happy anniversary stuff and gave us a dessert with candle at the end. The food and view were both great. I had the Hawaiian snapper that was off menu special and caprese salad. Both excellent.

Amazing views from the 30th floor and fantastic happy hour all day Sunday in the bar. Great variety of HH offerings from small bites to full blown burgers and steak sandwiches and all different cuisines. Highly recommend ESPECIALLY if you are visiting Portland.

Excellent- I sat at the bar for a beer and dinner salad. Service was excellent- food was great - the view is phenomenal - very cool crowd - piano player added extra ambiance. If you are in Portland you must stop in here for at least a quick drink, you wont regret it.

This last weekend we had family in from out of town and we chose to take our party of 13 to PCG for Sunday brunch. We reserved the Mt Hood room over looking the city and what a treat it was. From the reservation making to the end of our family gather, not one hickup along the way. Not to mention the amazing food. The prime rib and ham carving station to the sushi, all you can eat crab and chilled shrimp, to the amazing breakfast and desserts. All was a amazing and my family all loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for giving us such a great and personable time together.

Definitely a must. Server was spectacular, ambience was fantastic, and views were superb. Also they put together it was my birthday from the reservation I made and gave me a card beforehand. Will definitely be making reservations again.

We had the best server! I wish I remembered his name. The view is amazing, the food is delicious, the service is great. It is an amazing place to go. I've gone here both dressed up and more casual depending on the occasion. It's such a great place!

The food quality seemed to have decreased over the years and the price increased, its worth to come here for the experience to see the view, only if you get the window seat. Otherwise I dont recommend coming here far better restaurants in Portland area.

Cool place for a late night happy hour. Ordered a Old Fashion, it was decent, a little sweet, but the view and friends made it that worth the trip. Brought some business clients there and they loved it!

First of all, the view is AMAZING. You don t know how breathtaking the view of Portland is until you reach the top of Portland city grill. I came here when a friend of mine whisked me from my airport to the 30th floor of PCG.

Food: I got the steak and the fish and mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was all pretty good, the steak was juicy and the green beans were quite savory.

Service: The waiters were quite attentive and came over to fill our water and didn t kick us out of our room even though we stayed for quite a while. The view made the wait worth it.

Overall, if you re ever in Portland, this place is a must go and it s more of a fancy place but it s a great date spot or a family outing location.

First time back in a couple years. One of my favorite places for happy hour. Everything was great my only issue was asking if they could turn a chicken marsalla into a picatta. Our server said they didn't have capers. Maybe they were out for the night, but one of their dishes had capers in it so they should have it. I had the halibut though and it was delicious. Wife had the pork chop and said it was really good as well. They gave us a cupcake for our anniversary which was cool cause we didn't really want dessert so it was a tiny bite. Overall great time. I'd do 4.5 but not an option.

A hostess took it upon herself to use the software system from the restaurant to copy our private information the restaurant gathered to charge our credit card and complete a reservation to track down my husband and try to start an affair......when she knew he was married. She even contacted one of our employees to continue her mission....very disturbing. She was so excited about tracking him down successfully and so unremorseful that he was married it would seem this is a regular event for her. I'm ashamed that my gender acts in such a manner. I hope the hostess reads this review and she seeks help. If this prevents her from destroying a wife or mother's family then my my pain served a purpose.

I went here with my husband for our anniversary. We had a cocktail each, an appetizer, entrees and a glass of wine, shared a dessert and an espresso. Final total was about $250 including tip, which is about what I had expected.

It was a rainy, cloudy Portland day and the view was still great. Night time is even better. The service was excellent. I took the suggested wine choice with my entree and was very happy I did. All of the food was wonderful.

We went on a Monday evening with a reservation and parked in the tower parking lot. The restaurant validates parking (2 hours) so we didn't have to pay for that. I was glad we went on a weekday - nothing was too crowded.

I wore a dress (Old Navy special! ) and my husband wore slacks and a button up shirt. This sort of attire seems standard for this restaurant.

Overall my impression was very good although I would make sure it was a special event as the prices are a little steep for an everyday meal!

Solid.
