Best Chocolate cake ever! The salad is really good too!

The food is off the hook true Chicago style hot dogs well known owner pmenty of famous people endorsement photos hanging on the wall

Happy they opened in Rockford, it's too long a drive to Chicago.

You have to try their Italian Sausage Sandwich. Besides the Hot Dogs. Mustard and Onion only please top it off with their French Fries......Okay I forgot about their Chocolate Cake...No place like Portillo's!!! I even send Portillo's to friends and Family for gifts. They are always happy to get my packages. YUMMY!!!!!

Ohhh my goodness. I look so forward to going to Rockford just to go get my maxwell street polish sausage. The service is great! The workers walk around cleaning and cleaning making sure everything is sanitized. You'll be back if you go for the first time. I promise. The atmosphere is calm and inviting.

Decent food but probably the most overrated restaurant in existence. Nothing special here.

The fries and cheese sauce are the best, the cheeseburger is fantastic, salads, pastas are all great. Every dessert I have had is fantastic. I don't love the Italian Beef here....seems under seasoned to me. Love the atmosphere and freshly cooked food.

Service at this location has declined dramatically. On our last two visits we had to remind the staff abt our order after waiting a long time. Yesterday we could see our burgers and onion rings sitting there waiting to be put into the bag and our drinks were already on the tray but no one was paying any attention to completing our order. It's frustrating. We will think twice before returning.

Steak-um in canned sauce, terrible processed sausage, wow, amazed at how bad this was,...

This one is always good. Sometimes the location in Maple Grove, MN can be inconsistent.

Come for lunch n usually it's right when they open at 1030 n know matter what fries are always cold

Usually love this restaurant, but I have been waiting the last 20 minutes for an order at curbside. I called as soon as I pulled in, and still was left waiting.

Favorite hot dog joint ever!! Love the chocolate eclair cake!!! We visit Portillo s every time go to Chicago- it s a must!!

It was a good place it just want that my food was cool when i got it.

Service was terrible got my order wrong took a very long time to get to simple sandwiches and malts that were not what I ordered

First time we went was just after it opened.. tell you the truth, it was horrible! So when my husband got a card for Christmas to go again, we didn't expect much.. Very surprised when all food was hot and very good! We'll be back again!! Can you turn down the music just a touch? Too loud to have a conversation.

Very good, and although the parking lot was packed, the service was very fast. I had the seasonal salad with berries, almonds, chicken, and a raspberry vingrette dressing, and it was excellent.

It was good food. However there were 2 strands of hair in the bacon burger I ordered.

Hotdogs and Italian beefs are great. Cheese fries were hot and the cake was yummy.

Onion rings were ice cold plus wrong toppings on the polish. Line was ok but went from 2 lines into 1 with NO warning. Almost got hit by another car.

There were multiple cash registers open. My order was taken quickly. Everyone seemed friendly. I had a cheeseburger and chocolate shake. They were delicious.

OMG!! WHAT A PLACE!! EXCELLENT FOOD, had to wait for 5 -10 minutes... But so worth it... I highly recommend portabella mushroom sandwiche... HUGE...

Far less meat than usual in the Italian beef. Tasted good though

I had found bones in my Italian beef sandwich about 8 months ago and I am still not ordering the Italian Beef, but the Portobello Sandwich is really good
