Excellent food, great service and a perfect ambiance!!!!! Wonderful family dining facility!!!!

Food was probably good but what i got I didn't like :( so im no help!!!

Food was good as usual, service was a bit on the slow side.

Was driving through Rockford on my way to Madison, WI and stopped at this place.
Pros-
Parking lot is big and nice
Entrances and exits are clearly marked
Wait time in the order line was short
Menu was legible and easy to understand
Food is not that expensive
Place looked clean and the tables and chairs too
Gents restroom was clean

Cons-
The food pickup area could be better organized
I am a big supporter of anyone who's handling food in the food industry should wear something to cover their hair and mouth. This place did not have employees handling food cover their hair and mouth.
Employees need to smile more and the manager and company should make sure the employee are happy and not sick of their jobs.

Good food,but rude employee in drive thru. Customer service is still important.

Chicago area best. Classic hotdogs with the right fixings. The chocolate cake and chocolate cake milkshake are outstanding.

Italian beef with the sweet peppers is really good but if ya want alittle zing get the hot peppers. Mmmmmmm oh almost forgot the delicious chocolate cake shake!

Great atmosphere, friendly employees. The food sounds and looks superb. The taste doesn't match the looks. Tried it twice before i left a review, in case it was just me on that day. It wasnt.

Portillo's they're always busy and for great reasons! Whether you just wany a beef sandwich or more they offer so much on the menu. If you haven't tried their pasta yet you should, it's great too! Whrn you have food like theirs there isn't much you worry about!

Drive up only but fast service and there were a lot of cars. The Italian beef is outstanding.

Good food for good prices with a lot of options like salads if you don't like burgers hot dogs or sandwiches. The seating is alright, there are lots of tables and booths but the tables are a little close together. Space was clean so were the bathrooms

Its way too expensive for me but it is very good food.

Never fail to get my order incorrect even after they repeat it 3 to 4 times.

Workers are always so nice and polite! Had an issue with my order and they delivered the missing item to me plus some! I spoke with Maria and she was so sweet and helpful! Highly recommend!

Love the Italian beef. Found this location to be better than the other location I visit.

We always stop here when travelling through Chicago. Excellent Italian beef sandwiches and hot dogs.

Busy place,food is really good,staff very friendly and helpful,watch out for idiots driving in parking lot when it's dark outside

Best fast food experience ever. 1 hot dog 1 chili cheese dog 1 Choc shake and a loaded cheeseburger for 17 buckw and in 3 minutes. Culver's and the other joints suck compared to this place. We will be back.

Love our experience everytime we go staff is amazing, customers on other hand.. I feel horrible for the man in pick up window, they write down order call it in, put a sticky note on your mirror and people in front of us sat there for 25 mins complaining that everything was wrong and bring very rude.. the guy got a manager then walked out around the car in front and started serving food to the cars backed up.. thank you for taking the high road. Awesome service

They know how to move the drive-through line quickly, and of course the food is great.

The food is really good, but it's pretty expensive. You have to pay extra to add on sides and drinks. Great for a restaurant, but overpriced for fast food. The portions seem small, but they are deceptively filling.

I waited in a long line which I didn't mind cause they have great food but I ordered a large and a small fry with my order and didn't get it. I called them and the manager said he would refund me my order right away. I'm not from this town long story short no refund at all

This is super upsetting!! Went thru the drive thru and waited for this. That is a disappointing amount of onion rings.

Consistently good food, but also consistently the slowest service at any Portillos I go to. Tonight we, and many other dine in customers, waited 15 minutes for our food. All the while card were rapidly moving through the drive thru. This Londonlo really needs to learn to serve their inside customers too.

Food is very very good. Italian beef and cheddar on a croissant. Cheese fries are always delicious. Chocolate cake shake is to die for. Lemon cake shake during the summer was very good too.

Cheap food and the feeling here is excellent. It was so fresh. The staff was friendly and observant. Bring your hunger - portions are large.

Delicious for adults but my youngest has yet to find her food groove unless it is the cake. Everyone can agree on the cake! It's fabulous!

Quality is down a little since Frank Portillo sold it.

If you are ordering in Rockford, don t order ahead unless you go in to pickup. They put me through the line and I waisted 30 minutes. Food was cold when I got it. I would recommend that you just go through the line and get your food warm. It takes the same amount of time!

Food was good. Service was good.lots of seating. Good place to go with family & friends. Clean,friendly atmosphere.

Came straight here from Madison before even going home. Great as usual!

Go there everyday and there service almost matched the quality of their food

Had a terrible and great experience here. Came in for lunch 3-15-2019, it was packed! I grabbed a table, my wife and sons put in our order. She worked her way to the "pick up" line and waited and waited and waited, 40 minutes later she discovered they lost our order. We stopped in town on a road trip just to try this place out and we were all "starving" like only spoiled fat Americans can be "starving."
Everyone apologized, they gave us a piece of cake to ease our pains and the manager paid for our meal.
Now for the food, maybe we were delirious with hunger but everything was amazing! Top notch Chicago dogs, Italian beef sandwiches were incredible. We had been smelling them for almost an hour already and ate them in 2 minutes... And,,,,, chocolate cake milkshake.... OMG! So perfect and exactly like a chocolate cake blended with ice cream, hard to pull it through a straw. We shared it and grudgenly did we pass it to the anxiously waiting family member. The staff and manager saved our day and sent us off happy if a little late. We are in New Orleans now and loving it but I am making plans to stop by again on our way home. The Italian beef and that milkshake are haunting my dreams all the way down here in the Southland.

Portillos has always been one of my favorite places for beef sammiches. All the food there is delicious.

It's pretty good and I love meat (not gay lol) so if you love meat this is the place for you

This place was jammed, yet wait to place the order was very short. Order was processed in a lot shorter time than expected. Italian Beef tasted great!
