Portillos Rockford, ILL Review

Great service for the drive through. Have not been back to the indoors. I know they made their rep on hot dogs but I can't get enough of the Italian beef

The Italian beef isnt what it use to be as far as flavor and quantity .
The service level as the Rockford store is horrible.

Italian Sausage w/peppers is incredible, but the whole menu has a lot to offer. Great place for family and friends!

Great food and friendly family atmosphere. Venue is a busy and packed to capacity but is definitely worth the hassel for the great food and somewhat nostalgic experience! Definitely would go back!

I've always loved Portillos for the wide variety as well as the quality. But they have changed since being sold, portions are smaller and the beef seems more processed. Still good, but not as good as it once was.

Service is slow for not being busy. I have had faster service when the place was very crowded.

The chop salad my girl got could of been a lot fresher.

Best Chicago Dogs and Beef Sandwiches on the planet. Bar none

Great Chicago style Hotdog , cheese fries & lemonade!

This was very bad, the fried were know done ,the roast beef was tough,the Hamburg was dry.i will not come back !!!!

Love it. We don't have one within 400 Mike's of where I live. I make a point to fo there whenever I find one. Good selection & reasonably priced. I'd you've been there then you know what's up!

Legendary Italian Beef, Hot Dogs and Chocolate Cakr.

Hallelujah! !!! I don't have to go to Rockford or Chicago area to get the BEST beef sandwiches, hot dogs, sausages, and salads ever!

Portillo's has lost it since being sold to a different company. It is not the same as it used to be. Cheaper ingredients and smaller portions for more money. No thanks! 2 stars for the nice employees, it's about all they got going for them at this point.

Love the lemon cake, wish it was a year round thing

This is the best place to get a great beef sandwich and one of my favorite polish sandwich. The taste is unbelievable and I have going to Portillo's since I was a teenager. Will return when I near one of the location.

Staff was rude and lazy. Saw filth in kitchen and bad communication between staff members. Manger didn t help situation and treated the containers rudely and with no respect. Insults were thrown around in back where food is prepped for customers like us. I suggest not going here at all until staff is taken care of.

Just like every other Portillo's. Great hot dogs and italian beef! I always enjoy coming here.

There were multiple cash registers open. My order was taken quickly. Everyone seemed friendly. I had a cheeseburger and chocolate shake. They were delicious.

Too expensive for hot dogs. And why too much mustard on my last dog. Was dripping off. Your lucky if you get out of there for less the 10 bucks.

There were a lot of people at Portillo's, which is usually the case because their good is good. The kitchen was very efficient and got it big order ready pretty quickly. There Chicago style dogs and charbroiled burgers were so good. This Rockford location could use a bigger parking lot and dining room though.

Long lines and food is sometimes undercooked. When they are busy the fries are always soggy and undercooked.

Food is great but last two times I was there I ordered a salad and was not given a fork.

The mint chocolate chip shake was surprisingly awesome. The cheese fries had great cheese.

Decent, but if you've ever been to one of the chains in Chicagoland, you will know the service at this State St location needs improvement.

First time at Portillo's and we'll be back. All aspects were top notch.

Never disappointing!! They've got their lines and orders down to a science. Food is delish. We always stop when we are back from NC!

Portillo's beef and cheddar crissant with hot peppers just made this 4 hour drive so much easier. Try the burgers my personal favorite

They have great dogs and burgers, not to mention the cake. Though the atmosphere is a little loud.

For a company that swore that they were not gonna change anything in the world I have changed so much stop it's not even the same rostran anymore. Not only has the food itself changed , but the service is horrible!!!!! Just went to speak to the manager, and he LIED straight to my face! It took over 20 minutes to get a cup of soup and a tamale!!!! RIDICULOUS!

My step daughter never had their hotdog sure, that was good but when they gave her a free cake which she does not like cake! She loved that chocolate cake!!

I wish they had different size salads. My chopped salad was tasty but too much.

Great food, fair prices and nice people, and the chocolate cake and strawberry shortcake are awesome!
