Great value home insurance and really easy to set up from compare the market aggregator site.

The website is easy to use and getting a quote does not take long. Also the prices are competitive.

I have used the company before, the amount of cover provided for the price is second to none.
A very professional company that I highly recommend.

Used policy expert for last few years never had any problems always the cheapest, when made a claim on my boiler was very fast at sorting it I highly recommend them, just renewed my insurance again the other day

Reviewing and renewing my policy was a simple task on the phone, and the price was right too.

I found this by using go compare and it knocked spots off bigger more well known companies it was simple to do and only took a couple of minutes to complete I definitely recommend this company, we all hope to never need to use a policy but they had a much better service and price than I had thought I d find anywhere,

I tend to change my home and car insurance every year. Primarily because the incumbent insurance companies make it so unattractive to renew and bump up the premiums in the hope I won t notice and auto renew.
Policy Expert ticked all the boxes and were good on price, however am I confident that I will renew with them? No.
Already set aside another painful 2 hours of my precious time next year to research and input the same info to get a better deal. Wish me luck.

I appreciated the e-mail notice and the follow-up phone call. Not being good with the computer I was very pleased with myself to have managed the whole renewal process on-line. (OK it was really your system that was so efficient) And all done for a very good price

We had a Break in earlier this year. The buglar(s) jumper through a locked door and entered through a windows while the entire family was sleeping. We were stolen precious stuff.
After the initial shock we thought that at least we had insurance. First claim ever... well we were unlucky, three months later and they can t establish that the window was locked . It doesn t matter if the criminals went through a locked door and jumped three houses to reach out back garden. It doesn t matter if the buglar(s) forced their entrance through the window. It doesn t matter that we were all sleeping inside... this Mickey Mouse company doesn t pay!

Policy Expert Home insurance offered good value and excellent add on features which made it stand out.

Horrendous. Couldn t shirk my claim quick enough. Used a minor, completely irrelevant matter on the original compare the market quote to wriggle out of offering any support. Had a letter offering a refund and a termination of policy as soon as they became aware I wanted to make a claim. Crooks. Avoid if you actually want cover. Now with Direct Line who couldn t believe policy experts stance. Will be taking this further.

Policy Expert came out as the cheapest insurance cover for our home and contents, but also the most comprehensive- when is that ever the case!? Also, the website was really easy to use and it felt very transparent re. what will and won t be covered by my policy (so important)! I would recommend and I feel confident I made the right choice of insurer.

Good value policy and friendly polite staff when have needed to speak to them

Very happy with the quote and it was vey easy to set up. Only one problem was accessing policy documents using Chrome but very easy to get around this.

I have not claimed on this insurance policy but after renewing my policy for another year I am very satisfied we the cost as it is only a few pounds different from last year although I have made some changes. The person I spoke with was very helpful and polite.

Finally an insurance company you can renew with. Insurance companies don't reward loyalty but with Policy expert their renewal was a similar price and with a bit of haggling got emergency cover and legal protection included for free

They say you can only tell how good an insurance company is only when you need to claim. Well this one is FANTASTIC - my phone was stolen whilst on holiday, it was only a few months old and like most cost a small fortune these days, on returning I thought I would get another and call the insurance to add it on in case it happened again. This is where I was told the stolen one was covered. I lodged my claim, uploaded supporting documents and the claim was settled within 6 hours....how ridiculously wonderful is that. Honestly, I cannot tell you what a weight off my mind it is to know that I can now pay off the new phone in one go. Thank you Thank you Thank you - prompt, efficient and courteous.

Pretty straight forward renewal process. Decent price. Will be interesting as I am going to move house, furniture in storage, new house!

Unreliable company Total fake !!!
Unreliable company , I've been using them for years! But NOT any more.
I called them saying that I'm going to build the extension, they gave me a green light and took all my builder insurance. When we started our extension , and suddenly they've decided to cancel my home insurance
So now they are acting unlawful, cancelling my policy without any reason or advice. Just because they don't want Take any responsibility
So For years they were taking my money and give me Policy and when it came to Real test they run from the responsibility didn't even refund my money for the whole year I wish it will happen to them in a middle of the work With no insurance!
I'm seeking legal advice towards them.

Very competitive prices which is why I have renewed for the last three years.
Not had to put a claim in yet though so I don't know how smooth that will be.

I recently joined this cowboy outfit and after a few weeks I needed to claim following an accident . I live in Lincolnshire, however the three garages they offered me to use we re Northampton ( 2 and a half hours ) Bristol ( 4 hours ) and Sunderland ( 5 hours ) . Completely ridiculous company , not going to last , AVOID AVOUD AVOID

Hard to review in full now (hence 4 stars) as I only just signed up, but initially, you get free legal assistance and home emergency which, of the cheapest providers offering me home insurance on a comparison website, only Policy Expert offered free. This made it the cheapest with these add-ons.

So good so far, but can't review anything further than that at this time.

I HAVE GENERALLY BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY BUT HAVE ONLY GIVEN 4 DUE TO THEM STARTING THE POLICY AND TAKING PAYMENT BEFORE THE DUE DATE.

Even though I purchased this insurance through compare the market , the product is of good coverage policy and at a fair price .
This product covers all eventualities which may occur at a low access cost.

I find Policy Expert as excellent team that provides a value for money.

Just bought this new home & building insurance policy and it was 67% cheaper than my renewal quote from esure ' I was loyal to esure for many years until I got this new policy and cant be more pleased' great experience Thank you.

Do not bother! When it comes to making a claim they are horrendous. It s very well they getting 5 stars for being cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.
Originally phoned the out of hours number due to my flat roof being blown off due to storm Freya and it raining into the bedroom. Was told I didn t have building insurance!
No help provided in my time of need with a baby and toddler.
Phoned back 2 days later only to find out I did in fact have buildings insurance.
Tried to process my claim and advised I was not covered as the wind speed needed to be 55mph or above. I will be seeking legal advise against them. BE WARNED! Avoid !

The person who dealt with my call was very helpful and personable . I just felt that the deal I was offered should have been made initially,not after I decided to go elsewhere. Never the less , I received very good customer service from the aforementioned employee.

I have had a water leak under my kitchen for 6+ months!! I have made multiple phone calls and sent multiple emails but I m no further forward!! I have been fobbed off so many times. I ve been told so many different things regarding my issue, like I m not covered, get quotes yourself, pay for the repair yourself and we ll reimburse you to the latest one that the leak although it s on my property it s a neighbours issue and I need to contact them (a choice of three) to get them to get it fixed!! I ve never known a company have so many staff members off sick or on holidays (I d love a job working there) in all it looks and feels like I m dealing with the Chuckle brothers. I am really shocked and disappointed with all of this. The leak is potentially causing damage to my home and will only get worse when the weather worsens!!

Good value, the new policy wasn't quite as good as my previous supplier but for the price I can't complain.
