I visited this hotel to review the rooms for a wedding I thought that the rooms were well-designed and fit for preparations for wedding.

I thought this was a pretty good doubletree hotel close to the freeway that isn t far from a lot of restaurants and fast food places. Nice pool outside and the restaurant has happy hour deals. One perk is the gym that is connected to the hotel and is a full gym with tennis courts, basketball, plenty of weighs and cardio. They have full buffet breakfast that is free with Hilton diamond (possibly gold). The only reason I didn t give a 5 stars was the maintenance being performed while I was there. My room smelled like someone spilled paint thinner and had to move rooms. I came back the next week and I could still smell a faint scent.

They have remodeled the lounge and is freshly updated. Full menu in lounge. The caprese salad and salmon sandwich are delicious. Be sure to visit during the holiday season. The decor is breathtaking.

Nice hotel. Kinda weird that the room I stayed in didn't have a microwave or hair dryer. Nice staff.

Exactly what you would expect from a DoubleTree. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and roomy. The catering for events was very good.

Nice and clean, but sounds from hall and other rooms carry. Son had internet issues but loved the gym.

No running water upon arrival and for houts afterwards. Fire alarms going off all day the next day. They forgot to give the water and tickets for breakfast for being a hilton honors member. Sigh maybe 3 stars is too high

A bit close to the highway, but overall good place to stay!

The manager Daniel is very rude. I got sick from the food. They were very non chalant about it. Most ppl that work there are nice exception of a few in management.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and it was a nice hotel. The rooms were cleaned and the bed was comfortable to sleep on. It is a huge plus that there is a gym that one can go to if you have time. The reason for the 4 stars was because of the food. I wasn't impressed with the food at the bar. It was decent but I would recommend going out instead. Recommend staying at the hotel.

The hotel is fine for an individual booking but I wouldn't recommend them for a group booking. We booked a large group for a wedding party and had a few issues with stay:

- Dated process with contracts that had to be printed and then sent back
- They didn't have a bridal suite to get ready in so we (bride & groom) actually had to stay at a different hotel
- Not enough options for entertaining guests. We wanted to have a welcome reception and the cost came down to $130 a person if we booked a banquet room. Instead we mentioned to guests, in our welcome bags, to join us in the lobby bar for an appetizer and a drink on us and we received an email from the booking manager that that we were not allowed to save tables for this type of event.
- Also thought it was intrusive that the staff read the itinerary that were stuffed into the bags...
- No shuttle to the wedding venue (some other hotels offer this)

We also hosted a brunch the day after the wedding and had several issues:
- the space was really small for 40 people
- more people showed up that we expected and they wouldn't bring in extra chairs or silverware so our guests left to make room for other people
- also I know this is policy in the contract but they wouldn't let us take the leftover food, and there was A LOT, so it was thrown out. Such a HUGE waste. So shameful that all that food was thrown out.

In general, I was really disappointed with this property and would not recommend it for a group booking.

It has been awhile, but still a nice place the gym is a added bonus.

I attended an event here at the DoubleTree and found the initial welcome to be very nice. It's not the fanciest entry but very nicely appointed with friendly staff and good seating areas.

There is good signage from the road and lots of parking.

The staff assisting the event was okay. It was difficult to get service when needed and there was no supervisor that was scanning the room. I had to wait several minutes to flag down a waiter to get some help.

The food quality was good but they were not flexible in any dietary restrictions. I asked for no sauce on my salmon dish and was told that it would not possible to make that modification. Luckily, the rice was delicious. However, they didn't have the training to ask me why I made that request nor offer me any accommodation. I would have been thrilled with just a place of rice instead of leaving the event hungry.

The room had good lighting and was quite large and comfortable. We were in what seemed to be one of the larger rooms. Noise could not be heard from outside the room and the acoustics was good.

Overall, I would consider this location to host an event but definitely inquire about dietary accommodations for guests.

Very nice hotel well located to many local amenities, quiet, friendly staff, perk access to health club next door. Ample parking.

Was there for a company event. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and the room we stayed in was nice. We had one very minor incident and the housekeeping staff took care of it right away.

Almost everything about our 3 day stay was fine. The only problem was those metal brackets that hold the mattresses to the bases. I banged my ankle on one and OUCH.
Later, my wife did the same thing, twice, brought tears to her eyes

I do Love this Place. Just not enough Time to enjoy the Spa and The Swimming pool. The rooms are clean and the service is Good.

Stayed on a Thursday and hotel was quite but very nice. Joseph at the front desk was great to the family and we would come back just because of him.

Breakfast and gym can't be beat by any other hotel.

At $300 a night you would think they have a real lounge/bar like most hotels.

Hotel has been recently renovated but it generally shows it's age. Beds are comfy.

The staff are incredibly friendly. The restaurant is currently closed for renovations, but a pop up dining area is arranged for convenience. The room is large and the king bed is comfortable.

Was here for an all day meeting, facilities and food were very good.

I stay here every time I travel for work. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, no matter what time of day or night. Service is prompt. The rooms are immaculate and we'll appointed. I have absolutely no complaints!

Attended a1-day conference there, and the amenities were perfectly fine. The lunch served (steak) was delicious and well cooked.

The included admission to the attached fitness center next door is one of the best perks I've seen from any hotel.

Room is nice enough, but what ranks 5 stars is the fact you can use the neighboring Gym faculties with indoor tennis, racquetball, gym equipment, cardiovascular classes, and sauna/pool area.

Nice rooms although mine smelled a little like it had been smoked in. Love the attached fitness club. Restaurant and bar are OK, free breakfast vouchers are a nice extra.

Nice hotel. We attend the annual Fly Fishing Show at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. This is our first choice for a hotel when we book the trip.

The customer service staff was friendly upon check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff at checkout was not very informed on the prepaid status of the room. That was frustrating.

Man I love this Hotel if your in the Bay area stay here you will have access to the full service health spa next door, its amazing with classes and every type of equipment under the sun, basketball court, tennis court, steam bath dry sauna, exercise classes and several pools. The staff is helpful and nice the hotel is next to the freeway, awesome. My daughter lives in town and I try to go see her once a month. Best value for your money

I'm not a fan of DoubleTree's, although I am a fan of Hilton's -- I'm a Diamond member. During a recent 3-night stay, rooms were alright, nothing at all special. This location has a lot to be desired.

Positives:

* Easy/peasy check-in/out
* Very clean (and great maid service to keep it so!)
* 680/580 freeway close
* Amazing (and free) chocolate chip walnut cookies
* Nice pool, with rocks and water falls

Negatives:

* The location of the hotel is odd. Right next to the freeway, but a good mile away from any on/off-ramp.
* Not walking distance to any restaurants
* Service was minimal with no personality
* I was there for 3 days, and needed an extra water bottle. They wanted to charge me, and I never have had to pay being a Diamond member.

Overall, it's okay, but I would choose to stay elsewhere when possible.

Nice hotel. Everyone working there was really helpful. I love the king bed, very comfortable. The only thing that was annoying was the satellite TV. We'd be watching something and it would constantly cut out.

Attended a company holiday dinner here. The food was excellent buffet style. Free bar open bar I mean. It's so tell me more business, they know how to place a party elegantly and you want for nothing. Their staff is incredibly attentive, Marcel any other place in the area. Very nice atmosphere I highly suggest this for your next event or stay even.

This place is absolutely great! I was looking for a place near SF that was still easy to get around and free parking. I lucked out. It is 10 minuets from downtown Pleasanton which was a cute little area. Highly recommend the Beer baron if you re looking for an enjoyable dinner and drink.

Pretty good area, shares an awkward parking lot area with the gym next door. The rooms are a little on the smaller size but have what you need.

Very nice accommodations friendly staff comfy beds and the best part is the back patio with with the firepit tables.

A very nice hotel. The room was well laid out with a nice desk to get some work done. It had a mini fridge so I could keep a few things cold. I didn t send much time here, I didn t try many of the offerings, but I got a great nights sleep.

Clean, friendly and good room service. The food is fresh and still hot once it gets to the room. Reasonably priced as well. If you prefer there are plenty restaurants nearby. I've never had an issue staying here. Plus a free pass to the gym! It's located close to the freeway which makes travel/commute a breeze.

Hilton hotel was nice, clean and accommodating. I was there as a bridesmaid in my friends wedding. The only issue is we were charged more than what we received at confirmation. They said as long as there were no additional charges to the room(drinking the $5 water) we would be ok.

Is being remodeled and existing rooms are tattered/beat up. My room was next to ice maker that ran all night. Breakfast was great and employees are friendly.

The atmosphere was quite nice and the service was friendly. They are giving away free warm cookies, always a quick way to get points with the guests! The rooms are sizable and comfortable.

Good location with great service. Lots of free parking, restaurant and giant fitness facility on site. The rooms are large and clean.

Nice hotel. Easy to get to since it is right at the 580-680 interchange. Nice pool but it doesn't open until 10 am.

Very nice quiet, comfortable rooms. Staff very accommodating. Due to a website error, I didn't get the room I thought I had booked, but when I showed the staff the photo on the website, they realized the website was in error and said they'd get that fixed ASAP. Unfortunately, they didn't have another of that room available, but did move me to a better room than what I had. I even ended up with them moving a brand new couch/sofa bed into my room to accommodate my need to "spread out" my paperwork around me on the sofa when I work.
Restaurant downstairs has really good food and a full bar. Staff there is super friendly and attentive.
I leave for work too early in the morning to take advantage of the breakfast, so can't comment on that.
I think I've found my new favorite place to stay when I'm in the San Ramon/Dublin/Pleasanton area.

Nice room but the breakfast was not free it super expensive.

It was very clean. The front desk employees were very helpful and professional.
