Had a one night stay as part of a weekend break to South Wales. The hotel does have a very convenient location for the shops and Cardiff Castle.

Our executive room was spacious, comfortable, with a huge bed but rather dull. The shower was extremely powerful, and must waste a lot of water.

Breakfast was OK, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Brilliant place. So hospitable and professional.

Brilliant place. So hospitable and professional.
A fundraining group and I were let down by another room provider in Cardiff (who we had already paid) the morning of the Cardiff half marathon and we were left with nowhere to go for the group to reconvene following the race. To fundraise and celebrate our cause together.
After getting in contact with the Jury's and telling them the story behind our fundraising and being let down the morning of the event; the Jury's had rang back to advise that they'd arranged a room for us within 10 minutes and even set some tables.
To top it off they didn't charge the group for the room - which is beyond words.
I will definitely be back to make use of the facilities and get the whole hotel experience, I'm sure it will not disappoint.

Rooms are wonderfully quiet. Food is excellent. Staff attentive to your needs. Just what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Parking is across the road NCP park but reception will discount the ticket. Only a short walk for almost anything you want to see and do.

Located fairly central 10 mins walk from train station. Food and service is excellent when not busy. Restaurant does get busy on weekends. Feels dark, hard and claustrophobic even so, decor is artistic.

Perfect location for Cardiff city centre. Our room was clean and spacious. Also nice and cool which was welcome after a hot day. Nice breakfast too with plenty to choose from. Staff friendly. All round a nice hotel.

Just popped in for a quick drink with my partner. She had a vodka and tonic which she enjoyed, I had a lager. The selection of draught lager was poor. It always has been. On the whole it's a nice relaxed place, nice clientele and good service.

Lovely hotel. We stayed from Sun to Tues. There is a car park opposite, but pricey. So we used justpark app. And got a fab deal with the Marriott hotel which is only a 10min walk away. Nice room and delicious breakfast which will set you up for a days exploring. Good facilities including pool. Nice clean room. Will use again.

Rooms are good. Reasonably big with good bathroom. Wish they could provide a couple of complementary bottle of water which is quite common now a days.
Wifi is fast and easy connect. Centrally located.

I stayed for 3 weeks in this hotel.

Nice hotel, bar and restraunt very good, particularly the food. Was on par with any restraunt in Cardiff. Breakfast was pretty good.

Location is good, very conveniant for working in or around Cardiff. (Here to St.Athan, 35mins)

Staff were very helpful, I upgraded my room one weekend to accomodate my family visiting, all went well.

Gym facilities are excellent, pool, jacuzzi very good. As normal, avoid busy times.

We stayed here for 2 nights a while back and it was a lovely hotel with fantastic facilities.
Staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There is a swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym for guests. There is also a spa with a discount for hotel guests. The lobby is just stunning and breakfast was full of choices of hot cooked foods, cereals, fruits, cheeses, pastries etc. The room service was fab and the dinner menu was delicious. We would definitely stay here again.
Location is very central, about 4 minutes walk from the castle and park and about 10 minutes from Cardiff Central train station.

Stayed here with my mum for a shopping trip. We booked a twin room and were greeted by friendly reception staff and checked in efficiently. The room was clean and spacious and the shower good and powerful. We went down for a swim in the pool, which is a fair size and clean and the changing rooms are well maintained.

I've stayed at Park Plaza and Radisson Blu... so I...

I've stayed at Park Plaza and Radisson Blu... so I'll compare the two at times. I stayed at Park Plaza for 3 weeks and at Radisson Blu for 2 weeks.

Pros:
- Location: perfect spot near City Center, City Hall, museums, and the castle
- Friendly staff at front desk. They spoke clear English compared to the front desk at Radisson Blu about a year ago.
- Customer service was fantastic when I needed to get a taxi to the airport on the no-car day in Cardiff.
- 24 hour room service

Cons:
- Park Plaza room wasn't as good as Radisson Blu. The shower didn't drain quickly, the corners of the room looked to be molding, the room smelled slightly stale and the toilet paper holder was broken. I stayed in a King sized bedroom at each.
- Surprisingly, breakfast was better at Radisson Blu. Radisson Blu has a chai latte and espresso maker for the guests to use, an orange press for fresh juice, fresh salmon every morning, a toaster where you can set the heat for yourself and they offered newspapers to every guest. The breakfast at Park Plaza was the Welsh breakfast every morning with additional options like cereal, fruit and toast.

In summary... if you're staying for a short period of time and you re looking for a place with good customer service and a fantastic location, pick Park Plaza.
If you're staying for a longer period of time and you re looking for a nicer room and breakfast (more of a home feeling), pick Radisson Blu.

We stayed here to take advantage of a fantastic spa break deal they had for Sunday nights and were not disappointed. Cardiff city centre is really close on foot, but we didn't notice any noise (although it was a Sunday night) and the stops facilities were great. U had an amazing massage and a very relaxing day.

Food was good in the evening but the breakfast was mostly served as a buffet which looked a bit tired by the time we got to it.

Nice hotel in the city center near most shops and the main train station, clean, nice swimming pool and jacuzzi, breakfast is very good with good options and a lot of choices but busy so come early, service is good too (room service & staff).

A bit noisy at night as it faces a bar/night club - ask for a room in which the window isn't facing the main street.

I was expecting more from a radisson endorsed hotel. We paid for a superior super king size room which was quite spacious and the bar staff on an evening were great. Sadly that's where the compliments end. We even compllained (don't usually do this for hotels) and were simply given a very cold insincere 'sorry'
The list if issues were:
Room was filthy (see picture)
Air conditioning broken in the room (freezing October evening too)
The hair dryer was broken
We ordered a hair dryer from reception which took an hour to arrive and 4 phone call, with staff simply disinterested
The bed was a lumpy push together
The buffet breakfast wasn't ready for diners with everyone having to wait 10/15mins for food which had nearly all run out (this is around 40mins before end of service)
The food itself was poor with sausages which tasted like hotdogs and the eggs swimming in oil
Finally the manager was completely disinterested in our complaint
In all I would highly recommend you stay elsewhere at this price

Was very surprised to see that this hotel get a rating of 4.4? Out of ten maybe, but not out of 5! Very over-rated... Our room was directly above reception and opposite the clubs/bars across the road which were blasting out loud music until More

Beautiful Hotel, excellent location and superb facilities. Our room was extremely spacious, with a luxurious double king size bed, and was spotlessly cleaned every day. The gym pool and spa were among the best hotel facilities I have ever come across.

The food, both at breakfast and dinner was amazing, we were left wondering how they could produce such quality at the low prices they charged. We decided to leave Cardiff a few hours late just to stay for sunday lunch at the hotel and it didnt disappoint.

The staff deserve an extra 5 stars just for the service, blown away by how accommodating and swift they were, even at busy times they would never leave you waiting and would always have a smile on their face. Great break and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Stayed here a number of times over the past four years. Staff very good. Rooms contemporary and comfy beds. Do not accept a room opposite the pub as you'll get little sleep.
Conference rooms are OK.

Lovely hotel. We spent one night with our 5 month old. Room was very large. Ordered room service, and found out they had left an old menu in our room. It took longer, but they prepared what we had ordered.
