Average hotel although good spa facilities. Staff aren't trained to the standard you'd expect and if you're a Concierge customer, the only extra benefit is a bottle of water!! (Which comes with a lovely letter commenting it on being your 'free gift' for being a loyal customer).

The Gentleman's afternoon tea was excellent value for money, amazing food and service.

The Park Plaza Hotel in Cardiff is Amazing. We had our Wedding Reception on 10/08/19.
We also Stayed the night.
From the initial meeting to the booking and beyond, the Staff here are outstanding in every way, we were both treated like Royalty.
We were given the best servive, not not From the event co ordinator but also every reception, restaurant and security member of staff, their service was second to none.
We will be back to celebrate our First Anniversary, knowing what excellent service we will receive.
Wish to thank, Simon, Josh, Jess and all staff for making our day so Special.

Rubbish hotel my gf was told spa would be open up to 8pm then came down the spa told it was close at 5pm won't be staying here again

Very smart with excellent rooms, comfortable, large beds and quality bathroom. Great central location within walking distance of all the bars, eateries and attractions.

Excellent ...staff lush..fab atmosphere amazing..very clean spa..always smiling and helpful staff...

Went as we had a voucher bought for us, Sunday lunch was lovely, chicken was very moist and mushroom soup was delicious, staff very helpful and friendly, chocolate dessert was gorgeous, cheesecake not so lovely we think it had been curdled by the hot blueberry sauce, all in all a lovely experience would reccomend

Best shower we've ever had. Everyone was lovely and very helpful.great room, great location and great facilities . Couldn't ask for more. Wifi was free in room and lobby (and restaurant) and very easy to access. Free tea in the room was nice. Bath towels were huge. Fireplace in lobby was comforting. Restaurant was nice but not fantastic. Rooms weren't as sound proofed as I would have hoped. Bath robes and a hair dryer that you don't need to constantly down a button would have been the final finishing touches to a great weekend.

Cream teas, very expensive for very lttle, you do not have a choice. Of what to eat, very dissapointed.

For best experience book a table out on the terrace

Rooms and setting give this a 5. A disappointing receptiin greeting but surroundings made up for poor communication skills.

Fine. Outside dining via app worked well despite the limited menu. Staff did as much as they could to accommodate us.

Lovely room, bed was comfortable and show was very powerful. Parking available across the road from the hotel at the NPC, it can be quite expensive but the hotel provides 20% discount.

Had a meal there for mothers day. Lovely meal, nice staff. I would go there again.

Great place. Very busy quality place LOVELY restaurant to impress your wife or date. Probably the nicest steak I've ever had beautiful chips lovely warm plates super food. Be careful with liqueur coffee ordered Irish great but no whiskey. Was told it was only a single so thats why I can't taste it. Have drunk whiskey for 60yrs.

Great location but very disappointing front of house. The rooms are nice, the air con works well and wi-fi is good. The food in the restaurant is nice but overpriced. The spa was a big disappointment though . Merci

Fantastic staff, service and great quality food every time!

The food is very good here and the waiters are good. I think it is reasonably priced for what you get. There's also the afternoon tea and a gentleman after noon tea.

Hotel was lovely as was the room service food and bar, breakfast was lovely too. Downside was the spa, when we went it was full no space in the hottub or steam room and there was no sauna.

Great gym and facilities. There is a swimming pool, sauna and other spa related treatments available. The staff have always been very helpful allowing me to purchase a padlock directly from them for the lockers (needed). When I haven't got one they have allowed me to borrow one (they took my admiral pass until I gave it back). The gym is very well fitted with yoga mats, lots of running machines and cross trainers, many different weight machines and free weights are also available. They also have a heavy bag fitted with gloves available but I would recommend bringing your own.

Beautiful hotel and perfect location close to shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean, modern and spacious. Helpful staff and a well stocked bar. Would highly recommend

My daughter took us to the Park Plaza for Afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The cakes were delicious and they even did a Gentleman's Tea which my husband thoroughly enjoyed.

Bland soulless corporate that serves its purpose but does nothing beyond that

I enjoyed my stay, the room was beautifully decorated and spacious. Facilities were fantastic and the restaurant was top draw!

Lovley place to stay right in centre of it all if u want to go round cardiff but also very relaxing and chilled out in hotel with spa etc

Used Park Plaza to attend a conference. Facilities and meeting rooms were professional. Friendly staff, modern decor.

Good treatment of the staff. Leisure places in front of it and many shops nearby. A few meters from Cardiff Castle.

Exelllent food wide choice, from breakfast through to dinner. Warm and friendly staff.

Park plaza is a beautiful hotel with a cosy atmosphere, the food is always exceptional and the bar area is great of an evening to enjoy a few drinks. Why not sit on the verandah area with a blanket if it's cold! Rooms are lovely and well equipped. Pool and spa area very relaxing and contemporary. Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Fabulous hotel with excellent facilities. My room overlooked the courtyard, which was very quiet. Nice big bathroom and very comfy bed...pity I didn't get to spend longer in it!
Location wise, it's minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and transport.

Great hotel. Can not complain about the room, the help and the service. Spa it self was good although I have been to better. Fee parts of the spa didn't match up to others.

We are regular visitors to the restaurant - we really enjoy the atmosphere and range of food available. The staff are friendly and helpful, not shy about recommending particular things. Recommend!
