Christmas party night with work, food and experience not worth the cost

Fantastic room, great food and an indoor pool, stream and jacuzzi... Close to centre of the town too

Went here for staff Xmas party, don't remember much else.

Room was clean, with a comfy bed and a well stocked minibar. Breakfast was also very good.

I don't have any photos... But the experience was great. The rooms... Spacious. The bathroom clean and a great size. The staff... Most understanding... I got our checkout date wrong and they worked with us to correct my error and keep our room. The spa, restaurant and bar are top notch. Breakfast is Super tasty. The location is very nice also... We moved around the city and outside of it with ease. A good choice.

Lovely hotel. Gentleman's afternoon tea is immense...fresh Scotch eggs, fresh mini burger, mini steak were all on the menu when we visited

Amazing hotel, have stayed there now on several occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed myself each time.

Horrendously noisy late into the night from the nightclubs and bars opposite.

Great place to stay. I attended an event at KuKu Night club next door, which i believe is part of the hotel too... pitty that both that and the hotel Bar stop tap at 12am. Disappointed but didn't spoil the night by any means. It is opposite More

Great place to DJ. The Void sound system is unbelievably powerful! A great space for birthday parties and urban weddings.

Good hygiene procedures for covid in the reception area.

Great restaurant. Three course meal, every course superb.

Good measures for Covid for example booking slots for the swimming pool and reassuring cleanliness and safety with stickers in the room. Needs maintenance but overall clean and nice.

Hendricks afternoon tea was not what i was expecting. Very disappointed with the poor quality of sandwiches as the bread was very dry and hardly any filling, the Gin was very sweet!

I only met my family in the lobby but that was very bright and comfortable. Great location to show them around Cardiff!

Nice tidy comfortable room. Cooked breakfast was a little dried out but otherwise good.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Lovely clean rooms. Nice ambience and bar. Location wise it's a short walk from the high street and it has a spa, gym and pool. Always enjoy my stays here.

Crowd of us had a superb supper shame it's void of people.

Nice-ish. They don't have valet parking for your car. Locked minibar in room. Nice pool, hot tub and spa. Okay restaurant. Best thing I had was the creme brulee.

Love the treatments and lunch in the dinning room is lovely but now I don't think you can get this offer within the spa price only a small amount off your meal. Check before booking spa

Pretty average. Friendly staff. Fairly clean. Quiet. Hotel is a bit dated. Wi-Fi not great. Spa area looks tired & in need of a refurb.

Half an hour wait for drinks, then overcharged for drinks we didn't order, not great

We had a great stay bar / restaurant at hotel was great. We we're a little disappointed with the spa due to the steam room not working and pool was freezing!

Nice hotel, very good food at good prices - slightly short staffed in the restaurant as waits were a little tedious. Room service was great and the spa is excellent for treatments but the pool is a little small and not suitable for anything other short laps. Great location though for nice pubs, restaurants and shops. I will agree with some others as well that staff need to smile a bit more and not want to get going quickly.

Stayed here for a friend's 40th. Great location and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Stayed in a triple room which was plenty big enough and the beds were comfy.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, went there for a gentleman's champagne afternoon tea, lovely food, I would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here for two nights with my partner. We had a lovely time. Bed was huge and very comfortable. And the location is excellent being so close to the center of Cardiff

Our stay in the hotel was fantastic, we loved the room, the reception and bar. However we did use the spa and although generally the facilities were good and value for money, we chose the option to have a breakfast spa package and the breakfast part of that was awful, it was a very small croissant, some yoghurt and berries, a horrible and not fresh fruit salad, some prepackaged cheese and ham and a Baby Bel?! Also there was only instant coffee and they had not bothered to restock on juice. I would definitely return to the hotel and even the spa but don't bother with the spa breakfast just eat at the hotel or elsewhere and then go to the spa!!

Best hotel in Cardiff imo. Ask for view of the museum. Bath tub for two. Great place to stay.

Won a meal for two at a Charity do..didn't know what to expect..but the restaurant was descreat and lovely decor and the food and service was out of this world..would recommend.

The overall atmosphere was pleasant, with good background music. The price of drinks are higher than average for Cardiff, but reasonable.

High quality room, extremely comfy bed. Would stay here again - recommended for an overnight stay

Excellent place to stay.
We stayed for a hen do , everything went smoothly.
We had booked for afternoon tea and a spa treatment we had full use of the spa facilities which are great .
Breakfast was amazing , great selection.
Staff are very friendly and looked after us .
We parked across the road on the NCP car park which was perfectly located, you get 20% off from the hotel here .
Would recommend to stay here as a couple , a family or group they accommodate for everyone .

Restaurant was very busy and service suffered as a result. Order wrong on a couple of things. Crammed on a cramped table. Food not hot. Disappointed this time but previous visits good.

It is a beautiful place and the manager Kate is very welcoming.Its a home away from home

Guess this was the xmas party...been there 2 years before.
Change of management I'm guessing.
One thing that made me dislike my meal was cold bread, and bar staff trying to make a quick buck...pay with cards and make sure you check you receipts...swifty.
Main was nice thou.
