They have almost every plant you need and they also carry all sorts of gardening items and pesticides that are safe for the home.

Love selection they have. Just wished all the employees were as nice as guys who help you load into your car.

The most amazing garden center and plant nursery I've ever been to! The selection and quality is superb and it's always exciting to wander the grounds to see what they've got. Also they've got the Platt kittens that hang around the shop, waiting for pet, which just makes the experience.

July 5th 2017. We had two Spires that died last year. Had gone in two weeks ago to tell Platts what had happened, and was told to dig them up and bring them in. Today I did, then after they looked up the information, was told it was a month past the date and they would only give me a partial refund. You would think as a customer they would say, no problem, it was two little shrubs, plus we were going to purchase a few more shubs for our home, but no. only a partial refund. My wife and I walked out out of there, never to do business with them ever again. Went to another nursery and purchased two more, plus other plants.

It was great had a cat that waz super friendly and a maze for my kid to play in and while i literally just went there to kick it we found like $10 worth of stuff to buy lol everything from trinkits to xmas ornaments

Armando was extremely knowledgeable about the trees and plants that grow well in our zone.

Went here with my wife to buy some items she needed. Prices were good and the materials were in good shape. Staffs were nice too.

We've been visiting this establishment for a few years and I have to say that it is one of the nicest and friendlier businesses I've had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time!! We've purchased a variety of plants and items from other stores over the years and needless to say they didn't live very long and the quality of those products wasn't the best. We searched online for a reputable nursery and decided to go here and we have never regretted our decision!! Since day one the employees have been helpful in letting us know which plants will work, which won't, what is strong and will withstand the weather and what is weak and should be avoided. They have special ordered items for us whenever we've asked as long as the items were available on the market. The prices are a little more pricey than a retail store but the quality is so much better you will be grateful for making the decision to spend the few extra dollars!! I highly recommend this establishment for all of your plants and flowers and beautification work around the house and yard!!

Don't even think about going anywhere else! You won't find a better nursery and their staff is unbelievable. Their facilities are state of the art - highly recommended!

I buy most of our flowers from here but don't always count on their coupons. You really have to read the fine print. Also, don't fall for their signs stating "lowest/best price" because we got the 2 cubic ft bags of miracle grow potting mix for 9.99 at Meijer where their "best price" was 11.99 or whatever.

I went with someone who was looking for a specific plant, I wasn't planning on buying anything......but did! What's one more plant to the collection!?

I absolutely love visiting Platt hill nursery. They have a huge selection of plants and a beautiful green house, the store is always well kept and easy to shop. Everyone here is very helpful and cheerful making shopping here a very pleasant experience. Their plants are always in the best shape and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Despite the expensiveness, find various annual and perennial plants. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cosy environment with small pond and gazebo. A must see place. Go to their website for free landscaping oppurtunity.

More plants than you can imagine. Beautiful! They have a gift area. Didn't purchase anything because the prices were a bit to high for me.

Platt Hill has a very good selection of plants. Their quality is excellent. The personal are friendly & knowledgeable. They are a little pricey!

Good quality. Horrible service. I've been overcharged $99.95. I called back, associate said there is no manager on duty, and she can't help me. She took my info and promised me to pass on Manager. Never heard from them again. So I called them again. Same situation. I can't believe that place is running without any managers supervision. But they need it so badly. I want my money back.

Great selection. Staff is a hit or miss. One day we had a great guy help us, the next day a lady couldn't help us at all despite having a list. Ack! I shouldn't be showing you you're own store after doing two Google searches.

A very nice and helpful nursery and their prices are reasonable. They charge almost half as much for a planter than target.

I've been to a lot of nursery's and garden centers in the area and this one is my favorite! Mike and everyone else at Platt Hill are incredibly helpful and very nice.

I appreciate that they will steer me in the right direction even if that means I go to another store to get what I need.

On top of everything else they have a great selection of plants and all the Jack's Classic fertilizers are at the best/cheapest price I have found even when compared to amazon which is very suprising.

Came for a plant pot, completely unaware of anything plant related. Turned out it was pot-apalooza or something and they were packed. Ugh, I just want a pot and leave, right? But everyone was super friendly and helpful and I even got to spin the wheel and won a 25 dollar gift card! So super good experience, I'll definitely be back. Just not on pot-apalooza day again, lol

Terrible Impression and Experience. First, their primary entrance off Lake St. was closed with chain link, very close to the road, after scheduled 9am opening, almost creating a serious accident. When we called immediately after to report such, they were not very understanding, and certainly not concerned or apologetic. Once finally getting there, they were not customer friendly, and rather condescending, saying they only sell and plant "large orders" - 2 trees or more, and even then had a backlog of 2 1/2 months. They were not the least bit helpful in telling us where we could buy one tree and get it planted this year. Totally unimpressed.

Last summer, there was that tall, short haired older lady that was at the register who was rude and loud. Very poor customer service. I hope She s not there this year. She seemed so miserable the last time. I hope she retired.

I just called to ask a question about the stock and pricing of a plant and the woman I was transferred to was so incredibly rude and obviously annoyed I was "bothering" her that it completely detoured my desire to drive there and do business with Platt Hill Nursery.

Eye catching and beautiful nursery that will make you feel like your lost in another plant world. They have cute little succulents starting $2.99-$3.99 to gorgeous outdoor plants and indoor plants starting $5.99-above. My personal favorites are the cactus, devils Ivy, birds nest, croton and rubber plant. I purchased all of those there and the girl helped me decide on which ones would survive indoor with low light. They also fill up the pots up buy with the plant with soil. The pots range from $1.99-$9.99 depending on size. I purchased my pots there. Thank you Platt Hill, I will come back again! 5/5!

Lots of gorgeous, healthy plants but too many people for my comfort level.

Horrible customer service. Came in to ask questions about my arborvitae tree even brought branch and bug samples that I found asking if anything can be done. If any of these bugs can be the culprit of my trees turning brown. And the guys first question did you buy the trees with us. I said no. His response you will have to go where you bought them. I came here for help because I though you had experts, and was willing to buy a product that might help save my trees but they just don't care about their customers unless you buy the plants with them apparently.

I was amazed at how reasonable the prices are, bought mums there and same price at home depot and better looking plants will definitely shop there for flowers and vegetable plants next spring.

Employees were very helpful with information I needed about caring for my boxwoods that took a hit last winter. I was also looking for a replacement perennial and only had a photo. They were able to identify what it was. I was very impressed with their knowledge and customer service.
