Thank you Senior Auto for helping me out on such short notice!! I popped a summer tire the day after first snowfall and Pete was kind enough to squeeze my car into their busy schedule. They got my tires changed over quickly and were also able to swap out a few of my tire pressure sensors that needed replacing. It was probably an annoying car for them to deal with this morning but I m grateful they did and will be a returning/referring here :) Thanks again!

I've been taking my car there for years. They do awesome work and the rates are very reasonable. Pete and his crew are the best.

Fast service and honest, helpful staff. Fairly priced. I will definitely come back if anything else goes wrong.

There is also a nice Samoan-Japanese fusion restaurant in walking distance if you need to wait somewhere while they fix your car.

Pete is the MAN!!! As well as his workers! I was referred by a good friend he heard I had some issues with my truck and I really didn t trust to go to any auto shops because I was afraid of unnecessary charges for something I didn t ask them to look at. However my friend trusted and insisted that I check them out and so I did, and well everyone the rest is History! Senior Automotive is the place! Pete keeps it y all need a place for your vehicles to get a good check up? Definitely Senior Automotive!!!!

The owner, Bruce, is really helpful! All of his employees are great too, and kind. Every once in a while I have to zip in early in the morning for some unexpected issue, and they are patient with my stress and help right away, sometimes with no charge. When I have a major mechanical issue, I price check their quotes with other shops, and they are comparable or better! They almost always end up charging a bit less too, because they are efficient, and they schedule the work for when they can actually focus on it.
They are a small business competing well with large chain shops, and I'm a huge fan. Won't take my car anywhere else.

My family has been going to this shop for years and years! Great crew and good, honest service. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

We ve been going to Pete at Senior Automotive for years and I have to say that these guys take really good care of us. We ve had thousands of work done on our cars and not only is the price fair but they make sure they get it right, even if it s on their buck. Pete is our hero!

Pete at Senior is a great guy to deal with. Always will give you an honest opinion of what need to be done on your vehicle, and always there to alleviate any concerns you may have.

I wanted to get my winter tires put on my truck and they were able to get it done same day! A few other places I went to said they were a week out. Senior Automotive looked just as busy but still got it done-AND they even called me when they were finished, which I feel never seems to happen with auto shops-thanks!

Pretty rude customer service when questioned about problems after getting my car back after just one day!!! From them and spending $5000 to get it fixed. A part was missing, the heating was not working and the engine recently installed is having trouble. Incredible!

Be very careful to use this company. Not very trustworthy. Never will go to them again. Car has been in shop for 3 days. Horrible communication with me and every time I call and ask if the car is complete, a "new" problem arises. I do not recommend this company one bit.

Update: they apparently charged me $100 for diagnostics, 130 for installation, AND almost 100 for other stuff I did not authorize them to do. Total cost to do a simple radiator installation:$230

Pete and the staff are great, always friendly and knowledgeable. Quick turnaround times and honest answers. Our favorite, our neighbors favorite.. great work guys!

I wish I can give these guys 10 stars. They are always busy, because they know their stuff and get the job done right. The staff are honest, hardworking guys who don't get enough accolades. Hopefully this review let's them know my thanks for everything they ever done, and that I'm forever grateful.

Taken my car and the wife s many times here. Always friendly and quick. Prices are fair and square. Honestly, only mechanic shop I go to. I recommend to my friends and family.

Absolutely the best mechanic shop in Anchorage. Dice is the owner and Pete is store manager, mike and crew in the back working away. I actually trust these guys. The best price you're going to get. They don't play games or sell you what you don't need. They don't need to they have constant repeat customers. Pete and the gang have saved my butt more than once with great advice and service. Just go here and tell them you read Daniel's review online. You won't regret it. You're stressing about your car right?, they will hook you up and take that stress away. Trust me just go here. The best in Anchorage hands down. Right behind the DMV and a restaurant next door.

I used Senior Automotive for a pre-buy inspection this past summer, and after I bought the truck they inspected I brought it back to Senior for some repairs. Peter was very helpful and thorough, and I believe they charged a fair price for the work they did. After the inspection he gave me good feedback on the value of the vehicle and the buying situation at large. I'll be using them moving forward.

Decent people. Gave em my truck to fix and they did a pretty poor job of it so I brought it back and they said it was gonna cost me more since they didnt fix it. Pretty unhappy about that.

Living in Spenard, Senior Automotive is very convenient for us. If we moved away however, we would still utilize them. They have always been very helpful, fair and honest with us, whether it's a $10 on-the-spot tire repair job (late at night, no less!) or a large mechanical one. We are so grateful to know reputable and honest mechanics! Highly recommended.

Techs were knowledgeable and professional. Fees were reasonable and invoice was straight forward itemized what services were performed and what the fee was for the service.

The mechanics here have so far been amazing. I took my truck to them to find out why it was backfiring. I was given my estimate and updated every time they found something new. I have been to other shops that have either done the extra work without asking or skipped it all together without asking. As a customer using a business for a purpose, I expect to be updated if a new problem is found and these guys do just that. My main reason for this review is that my truck has been super sluggish for two years now. I knew there was something wrong with my engine, but never had time to check it myself. My 93 Ramcharger has been to two different mechanics (both of which came highly recommended by friends and both I would still use for different applications in the future), but no one could tell me.

Senior found out that the truck had multiple problems and kept me in the loop. They found my injectors to be bad and some wires crossed. They also found rust in the lines. I just happened to have new injectors sitting in the truck (I had previously thought mine were bad) and now my truck runs ten times better. I plan to take my truck back next week to have some additional work done. This company has earned my trust and business for the life of my truck now do to their honesty and thoroughness.

Side Note: The "additional" work being done is my axle seals and steering ujoints. I took my truck to Sears (coupon) for an oil change and they found those two problems. Beleivable because my truck wanders like crazy. She's old.They told me they could fix the problem and would re-align my truck. I was then called when the work was "done" only to be told that they didn't have the tools to replace the seals and ujoints. But they stilled went ahead and did the alignment even though they could only do a "partial" alignment because they couldn't fix the other two problems. Those kinds of practices I don't understand. I will still have to pay for an alignment after replacing the seals and ujoints. So I will stick with Senior Auto who I already know will update me if they run into problems.

They fixed up my 1990 Toyota motorhome in record time for a fair price. They are great to work with.
