I did not book for an hour a Pink Floyd CD and Microsoft screensaver from the 90s watch! In times of virtual reality and 360 degree cameras, a bad, old animation that is touted as a "fascinating 360-degree multimedia choreography" is very disappointing. And even after eternal reconstruction, reopening hype and 14 admission.

Perfectly planned process for infection protection in corona times. Friendly staff, educational mandate implemented. When the viewing platform is open again, you have a wonderful view in all directions over Hamburg.
Aurora wasn't exactly what we wanted, but that seems a matter of taste. We can recommend the little star in the big space. The presentation for the Apollo 11 anniversary was overwhelming.
Booking online worked fine, as always.
(Somewhat unfair if what is probably your own technology fails to give the planetarium only one star.)
So the 3D concept was already awesome! For full points !!! I have been to other plants in Plantaria many times, they were much more educational. I found the drum boring. One point deduction. The worst thing was the seats. Way too narrow! Sharing an armrest with strangers is not my thing. Both my arms fell asleep because I could not lean properly. I also learned that better. Too bad.
I went to the planetarium with my family and watched the "solar storms" show. The performance lasted about 50 minutes and even the performance room was air-conditioned. Looking up, you look at the performance and everything is explained to you in a very interesting way. Even with the Corona measures, the experience remains the same.
terrible customer service! I really don't want to support this anymore, though I like the theatre. Unless you encounter a problem it is nice to go there. If so, you're lost.
Purchased online tickets, but instead of picking up cards, they picked them up at the box office. An immediate call to the customer service and the request for change is not possible. Although 2 1/2 months before the appointment. Under service I understand something else ..
**** UPDATE ****
My review arrived at a responsible person. Thanks for the quick help ...
So in itself a great experience, bought tickets online today Mega was happy to spend the evening there again. I went there right after work. 6:45 p.m. was the performance 15 minutes beforehand 8ch hadn't made it. Then we had the unfriendly entrance to the toilet and we didn't get in. Quasi the door closed in front of the nose ..... Because it is too dangerous to go to the dark place ..... I can understand that, there was no refund of the ticket price or a voucher. That is really weak, so the conclusion is punctual and does not expect goodwill.
Too bad that then after the renovation here kofler tin cake for absurd prices is sold. Coffee is unfortunately also from the machine. Look made on hip, content rather canteen. But very friendly staff.
Dear team from the Planetarium in Hamburg, we would like to thank you for the extremely good care and the friendly reception in the planetarium. We were very pleased.
Great location with interesting programs. My wife and I come here regularly.
Contrary to some reviews, the staff is always very polite and competent, so far not a bad experience.
Buying tickets is straightforward, the checkout staff is always nice and courteous.
On April 29th Been here again, but this time not watched a star show, but experienced the radio play of the "three question marks" and the "three-eyed skull".
The prices vary depending on the performance, but are in the fair range.
Parking is, as usual, a little modest around the city park, 5-10 minutes walk should therefore always be taken into account.
Due to this fact, the visitors are often delayed.
After the start of the performance, however, admission will no longer be granted for security reasons.
The cafe in the planetarium offers food and drink. A latte macchiato costs e.g. 3.10 euros. So the price in the normal Hamburg area.
We like to come here and we like this location 5 stars for the star house :-)
Great experience for small children! The shows are really great! But I have to honestly say that this is simply not enough. So you don't need to be on site 2 hours in advance, 30 minutes before events is enough! There is actually nothing to watch. The coffee is of course quite expensive but the quality is right and so is the service
In December, baking cookies is a great offer for children and adults and the TOP is free
A wonderful experience! Was in the planetarium for the first time (what an outrage after nine years in beautiful HH): Mousse T, Schiller and Marionneau spectacularly accompanied the scenes in the firmament with their wonderful, improvised electronic music. Not infrequently amazed like a little girl who discovers the world ... Tomorrow they will be there again. Absolute recommendation! Great!
Despite the big time planning, we only came to the performance on time. Unfortunately we bought tickets online. Why unfortunately? Because we couldn't get in even though it was 3 p.m. There wasn't even a chance to see the performance or another the next day! Of course there was no money back either! The disappointment was huge, especially with the children! I would have expected more customer friendliness! In addition, we weren't the only family. Unfortunately it hit 2 more. They were just lucky enough not to have paid any money for the cards.
A room where you can possibly have a quick coffee on the fast, to shorten the waiting time for the planetarium. You should not order cake (even if that is a matter of taste).
Just great. For children there are also programs (if I'm not mistaken, every year even more), but you can also come here without any problems, if the topic suits someone. When it's dark and the starry sky is displayed, that's hardly distinguishable from watching the real starry sky!
Great experience. Proper technology that offers much better 3D effects than most films that adorn themselves with "3D". Price is justified and the exhibition is okay. Keep it up :)
Not recommended. Instead of pictures and exhibitions from and about the cosmos, you can admire stairs here particularly well. The viewing platform for 2 euros opens up after you have overcome the unfriendly staff. In every world and N-TV documentary about the universe you can find out more than here. My final conclusion: juice shop. Rather go to st. Pauli drinking, you can't get more percentages anywhere!
My friend has ordered card online. The page jumped back and forth. He wanted to order for Sunday. In the end he has the ticket for Saturday. 5 minutes later, he called the hotline and wanted to exchange the card. And that is IMPOSSIBLE for them. If technical problems occur, they should at least help the customers, otherwise they will lose customers.
The ideas can be different and sometimes more sometimes less than meet expectations. "We are Stars 3D" was very short of breath but for me it was really exciting and in a super 3D quality.
Cute cafe and great ambience, which could score with the design of a breakfast storage. The quality of the breakfast was despite voucher and then still 14.90 only supermarket quality. Here I would have wanted organic like the coffee.
Cool thing. Coronavirus solved professionally and you felt safe. Not only does the planetarium look great from the outside, the whole area with the park is great.
Even in the evening, at nightfall, it is ideal to stay here on warm summer days. In addition, the great atmosphere is enhanced by the beautiful lighting of the building.
Unfortunately we were disappointed. I received a breakfast voucher for 2 persons as a gift. The reception is cold and dismissive. The coffee and other drinks have to be bought. The quality of the breakfast is not the first choice. Unfortunately, we can not recommend this cafe.
Very fine. The exhibition can be visited free of charge. I would have liked this to be more extensive. The planetary orbits can only be seen in thematic lectures at fixed times. I would have loved to sit under the starry sky for 20 minutes
Excellent location technically advanced with Carl Zeiss projector and laser system. Unfortunately some contents / are just ridiculous, choose carefully
I had one of the most amazing experiences in this place. I saw Queen's presentation / exhibition and would go back to see any other work. The technology is amazing !!!
I was at the Queen - Made in Heaven event on Friday and it was very nice. Only I thought there should have been more atmospheric songs. There were a lot of sad songs and therefore I got sad every now and then. So also use the classics as a tip! Otherwise it was a nice event that you would like to go to a second time.
Show about Aurora Borealis was nice, but not awesome. One star less because two beamers of the beamer cluster flickered nervously during the whole show, which destroyed the mood of the calm and impressive phenomenon. Also the staff didn't seem too motivated.
The breakfast was delicious, but this is rather negative, is the fact that you have to order at the bar and pay immediately. Rather uncomfortable, if you have an intimate breakfast and would like to order one or two hot drinks. Altogether unfortunately more canteen character, which is a shame
Starry sky over Hamburg was very interesting. However, if the light is raised again at the end of the event, a warning for the audience would be great and a slow dimming super. Was very scary, suddenly light. It was also extremely exhausting to listen, as the microphone and voice of the speaker had a permanent reverberation. Presentation: Sunday 10.11. Starry sky over Hamburg 17.30h
Of you don t speak German, don t go. Program: The dark universe. On the website it is given with French and Spanish translations. The lady at reception didn't know anything about it at first and had to fetch the boss. After we had our audio device, it stopped working after 10 minutes. Reason given by the employees: Only the most important things are translated. Besides, this is a free service. True to the motto we should be glad that something was translated at all. The picture gallery is only in German. This will certainly not be an experience for tourists either. But even in German I didn't find the program particularly interesting. Every 3D film on TV at home is more exciting. All in all a very disappointing experience.
It's been a while since I was there, but I really liked it back then. I saw the Pink Floyd Show and was able to relax really well. I drifted off to the music and the visuals. Will definitely be back.
As long as you are not a disabled person, you have the chance to experience something nice - as long as you do not diverge. But if you are sitting in a wheelchair, for example, then the inclusion ends with the employees on the front door. A shame that public money will be provided for this.
Easy to reach with the U3 but the 10 minutes on foot specified in the travel guides are not enough for me. It's a bit of a walk. Only a bus drives closer. Definitely a must for Hamburg visitors but important at the events: Nothing works without a reservation, as a rule the lectures are almost always sold out.
There may be great shows and everything may be great. Unfortunately, we didn't notice anything of that. On the website are the events, but not that it is sold out. So arriving from Hanover, parking, etc. Of course, there is no sign, which would not be superfluous with such a building in the middle of the park, then we had to go with the children, like the other interested parties, all the way around to find out that there were only 3 exits and you are not allowed in there. What only the logic of Einstein needs. Then back down and go through all directions until we found an entrance that was not closed for renovation.
When we finally managed to get in, the event had supposedly been sold out all day.
These are fascinating worlds, in which the internet has not yet been discovered and the possibility to state that the event is bought from. But every spot on the back of the moon is known with precision.
So we wanted to go to the next event. The program was so confusing (god knows whether the description of the events is sorted by time or alphabetically or rather chaotically.
and the internet reception there was so bad (edge! on both sim cards and no free wifi) that we had to ask the staff.
It turned out that the next event should be a piano concert, which was wrong in the concert hall, well for a 12 year old boy exactly the right thing :(
The only thing I found good was that the toilets only stank a bit badly ... Hence 2 points for the toilet management.
Great, always an experience. Too bad that you can probably see the end of the year 2018 (correction: in 2019 that still applies) not on the viewing platform. Otherwise, the entrance looks really good.
We were there for the performance at 4:30 p.m. and stood on the mat at 4:29 p.m. and were not allowed in anymore ... Very very bad. The woman at the checkout was also not very polite. She only told us that this is also on the menu, but only at the bottom is the expression that you should be there 10 minutes beforehand (which you should and usually are, only we don't have it today due to scheduling reasons managed, but were still there on time) but there is NOTHING about the consequences that you can no longer get in! Very disappointing. Doesn't necessarily make you happy to come again. It would be nice if you could use the tickets for the same performance at a later time (it can always be a train delay or the like) or at least on the tickets DIRECTLY ADMISSION 16:15 BEGIN 16:30 ... then the whole thing would be more understandable .... after such a disappointing experience we will probably not come back anytime soon ... Too bad!
It would be very nice if you really take this criticism seriously and change something instead of just saying that your employees have these instructions. Then you would certainly get less bad reviews and more satisfied viewers who would like to come back.
very vivid and detailed documentation Special about the lunar eclipse "The sky over Hamburg live" great value for money Architecturally very interesting building
Excellent cinematic experience - we were back - this time to Rockledenden reloaded - just awesome. Even more shows with Pink Floyd or Queen are highly recommended. Afterwards always quickly on the roof to catch a view over the city - especially recommended in the twilight ;-)
Fire regulations are no justification for discriminatory behavior! Rollis are apparently undesirable in the planetarium and employees ignore the individual needs of people with different handicaps. If the planetarium is not included, you should close it down!
Pleasant, quiet (on a rainy day), even with twin strollers you will find relaxed place; delicious cakes and great seating niches, everything is well-kept and clean - 5 stars;)
