I have been working with Chris and Lisa at American Alarm Systems. They have helped me with a couple of my homes here in the orange county area. Every time I have any questions or concerns they handle it very professionally and quickly. The service is great, the installs are a breeze and their customer service is beyond awesome!!
Stay away from this company, worst customer service ever.
Had a panel that needed to be serviced for a faulty grounding wire. The first visit, they arrived an hour before they said they would and left because there was no one to let them in. The second visit, they were running late so I called to confirm their time, I was told the tech was stuck in traffic and would be there soon. 4 hours later no tech, so I called and was informed that the visit was canceled because traffic was bad.
Long story short, service hours aren't great if you manage a location with non-standard hours i.e. restaurant. Technicians are not punctual and service department needs to get better are confirming logistics with its technicians.
Working with american alarm system was a great and easy experience!!

So glad we have their protection. So much going on in the neighborhood; I rest easier knowing someone is on duty.
The sales manager has a very snippy attitude, not appreciated when I am trying to give business to someone. Sent them out to give me a price for an alarm and instead of going to the property, they did a google earth and then when it was time to install they could not figure out what building it was. Get it together and get a better attitude.
This company is run by thieves. they appear to be a good upstanding business on the outside but I assure you THEY ARE THIEVES! they will sue you and tell lies to win their case, a big part of their business is taking their own customers to court. i used them for three years,I was told my contract was only two, after three years i tried to cancel but it turns out they had lied to me and it was a 5 year contract. they took me to court for the extra two years that I refused to pay, the actual alarm system I used was not supplied by them, it was owned by me and they only activated it. in court they lied and told the judge it was theirs and that I never paid for it. LIE! i asked the judge to have them produce a invoice for this system. turns out they have this judge in their pocket and he ignored my request just ruled in their favor. I had to pay close to $2000.00 for equipment that they did not supply. THEY ARE THIEVES. turns out they work with this judge all the time. he does not care if your a victim or not. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! they steal from the ones they claim to protect. pure evil!
Always on top of things, call center is excellent, support is also always prompt and on time.
Their installers are very knowledgeable and fast.
Never been here, don't know why my phone says I have! Something shady going here. It even says I took 3 photos. Never been there.

YOU KNOW THEY ARE NOT A CORPORATION NOR ARE THEY A LLC PLUS IF YOU KNOW A MICHAEL SMITH AKA SMITTY OR SAM OR MARCUS WRIGHT (USES ALL THESE NAMES) RUN NOTHING ABOUT THIS GUY IS LEGIT.
I would strongly recommend American Alarm Systems! From the beginning of my experience with them, they provided A+ effort and security. Before even subscribing into their services, they were very helpful, considerate, friendly, and very efficient.
We had our system installed within 3 business days of beginning the process with AAS. When they came and installed our security systems they walked through our home, let us know which areas would be best to secure and they explained the "why" behind everything.
In all, AAS, is extremely helpful and they will have my business for a long time.
This is the worst company ever for an alarm system. I asked them to put a certain alarm system in but they put their own system in and then charge me a fortune. Then eventually when I insisted on the one I wanted, they put a used system in as they said it s discontinued. To date, the alarm has still not worked correctly. Every time I call with issues, they can t help me and it s been a nightmare. They keep charging me for sensors they change and give me excuses why the system doesn t work and then put in other sensors to try and make it work. When I say I am going to cancel, they threaten me with penalties that they going to charge me. As the reviews of other people state, this company is a fraud. Be warned - this company does not have your security at heart, just your wallet.
I ve worked with this company since 1990. They wired up my business location and three houses. I found them to be economical and quick to respond to any issues.
Gary, the owner, passed away a few years ago. He was really over the top on customer service. Since than things have slipped slightly but my god, they are still leaps and bounds better than the bigger names in the biz.
After paying this company for months my business got broken into there product didn't work at all no sensors went off I never got a call and lost a good chunk of money! After calling to try to figure out what was wrong I was give 48 hours before a manager could call me in fact I had to call back after 3 days of not getting a response. After calling for the third time and requsting help I was told that they didn't know what to do and to stop the service if I wasn't happy and go to court. I can say now this company is rotten from the core and if u care about your belongings I would stay far away from this company
Looks like they outsourced their departments. I used to deal with a handfull of dispatchers that I knew by name and were very helpfull. Now it seems calls go to a call center where everytime I call I get someone different that Ive never talked to before
We have been with this company since 2009 when I came in as the office manager, We have had no issues with this company. I wish they would upgrade the equiptment soon but that will be up for discussion later this week
