Yesterday I looked at "departure to new worlds: South Sea". The advertising text on the website promised a lot ... "360-degree simulation technology allows you to" take it on board ", so to speak."
That was grossly exaggerated, to say the least. The picture and video quality was sometimes very bad (similar to YouTube 360p). Since one is better used for 11 . The dome and advertised 360 degree technique was used only for constellations, which were only marginal theme. There was mainly a 2D slideshow on the top 3 times projected so everyone could see something. Only if you sat in the first row you have to turn your head, because the opposite image was partially hidden by the star projector. Next time, the organizer should rethink whether you should suggest an image / video projected onto the whole dome in a promotional text or if you prefer it!

Waiting at a snail's pace in line for 25 minutes for two coffees - that's what I call an impertinence and a lack of planning.
Three employees fill shelves or sort cakes, one takes care of the orders.

I will never enter this coffee again.

We arrived pitifully late (3 min) because we were never there, nor have we seen that from the outside the entrance sign is marked, we have been received badly and became arrogant.
We have paid an amount and at least we hoped to receive the money back since they did NOT let us in for the 3 min late nor did they give us any other option.
They have not returned the money, they have not let us pass and they even got arrogant, a pity ...

Just great. Whether to see the stars with the children before the conversion or to experience a trip with the moon rocket, the small day and to be able to see after the conversion with the grown up children "The Dark Side of the Moon" or our first concert with a great show in the background to hear and see, just great. The building is also very impressive, like a rock in the city park, really great. Thank you and see you next time.

Hello, I was in the fantasy The Phantom of the Universe / 20.2.2019:
this was announced as a super new project - in my view, however, was only the introduction to the starry sky over Hamburg (in the course of a day with projection for the next few days) really worth seeing and hearing; the 'dark matter show' was partially designed for toddlers and sometimes astronomers. I can only hope that the sequel to The Dark Universe will be more interesting / spectacular next week.

Very nice planetarium in the heart of Hamburg. Everything is clean and tidy here. In the lobby there is interesting information on all topics related to planets and space travel. There is a bistro where snacks can be purchased. The screening room is a good size and spacious with comfortable armchairs. All in all, it is an exciting experience and definitely worth a visit!

Much is designed for younger visitors, but who cares, will have fun here. Especially after the conversion, it has become much better again. I can only recommend to book online tickets in time. Depending on the day of the week, it can get tight on site.

Total failure! We were registered for breakfast in a group of 36 people. Instead of the announced etagere for 2 people, there was 1 tray for 7 people. Without any decoration such as lettuce leaf, cucumber, herbs or similar "superfluous" we were offered the cheapest sausage and the cheapest cheese, garnished with plastic packaging with Nutella, honey and jam. The salmon without sauce, the cream cheese also cheapest. Oh, sorry, there were 2 halved mini tomatoes for decoration. To top it all off, there was nowhere near enough bread rolls (logically, just simple wheat rolls) and bread to even eat the topping! And nothing was added. Instead of the fruit salad there were 3 cups (!!!) of milk rice (?) For 7 people, the egg failed without replacement. WHO eats milk rice for breakfast when fruit salad is on the menu ?? The croissants should suddenly cost extra. We were speechless, we have never had breakfast so bad! For the drinks (of course not included in the price) we had to queue at the counter, which was hopelessly overwhelmed by a waiter - 20 minutes waiting for a cup of coffee? Not at all! Conclusion: the restaurant is not set for breakfast in a group, zero service, and completely overpriced. The tablet in the photo shows the leftovers that were left without bread, it cost 9 per person, the equivalent was a maximum of 1 . In the end we were accommodated in the price, but it is absolutely not to be recommended.

Fantastic - unfortunately you are often in front of closed doors because of renovation or renovation, etc.

Nice planetarium, very clean and clear.

However, the idea "the journey of the paper rocket" was really not good. The graphics were very 90s and just out of date. The script comes from the USA and all fonts were in English (too bad for the school children) and the analogies partially wrong. Also, the story was flat. Whenever you could learn more about the planet, you had to keep flying. We'll be happy to see another event but this one was not good.

Fantastic looking building, looks really nice in the dark with all of the lights.
Went and saw a show here but the sound/animation quality weren t the best but being my first planetarium show it was fantastic and I enjoyed myself!

Interesting experience, quality of images quite good, if you use English audio the real German Audio is disturbing... should cost less

We were with our 3 grandchildren in the planetarium.
I'm with my two grandchildren (5 and 7 years old) for the performance
Lucia and the secret of the falling stars gone.
Very nice educational film and is explained very well for children.
This is the 2nd time I'm at such a demonstration.

The age indicated for the performance should also be adhered to.
We went to the first performance which was recommended for 12 years.
That made no sense either.
The material was difficult to understand and younger children get bored easily.

My wife is meanwhile with our youngest granddaughter
(3 years) walked through the park and into the playground.
Very nice, well-kept, huge park.

Parking was plentiful, even though it was autumn break.
Walk from the parking lot to the planetarium about 15 minutes.

Corona regulations are observed.
The family can sit together, otherwise there is plenty of space between the neighbors. (3 or 4 empty seats between visitors)
The rows in front of and behind us were not occupied by people.

The planetarium is awesome, friendly staff and great atmosphere. However, we looked at a show today (new Infinity) is that serious? You can not ask for money, I have rarely seen such a bad thing. The music was cruel and the show just boring. We left after 30 minutes because we could not stand the music anymore! Very bad!

The staff was very friendly, the idea "in night flight through the galaxy" we really liked, great insight into the universe and a lot of information about near and far stars.

Great cafe in a great environment. Nice staff and fast service complete the offer. Quality and service are very good and the prices are also very good. Clean and tidy everywhere. Altogether one can say to recommend and I also like to come back

We were there for the first time and have booked extra seats in the last row to have a good view of the dome. Disappointment on the spot: The seats in the last row can not be tilted backwards. Anyone sitting in a painless position looks almost straight and does not see the show. The focus of the show (Dark Side of the Moon) always lay clearly in the center of the dome, which meant that you had to stretch your neck or bend into the seat - after 10 minutes, my partner and I were in pain and could not really enjoy the show , Our seat neighbors in the last row complained about the same. The show was mostly good, cool special effects thanks to fog machine and light show, some animation scenes looked like from 1990 and disturbed the flair of the otherwise high-resolution program.

Too bad that you just can not tilt the last row, otherwise it would have the best view. I would not buy tickets again for this and thanks to this seating position we got a "money back" feeling during the show - which is a pity.

A great building, which was also successfully renovated.
The different events can be booked in advance via internet .....
But it is also worth it to just go and enjoy the large park.
Some stands or the nearby restaurant with a large outdoor area make the visit to a real, and lasting experience.

JEAN MICHEL JARRES AERO did not like me and my girlfriend at all. Tangled lighting effects and pictures. For the entrance fee of 11, - p.P. really not recommended. Also, the music was too loud even though it was 5.1, and the bass was too heavy. Really not recommended.

One of the best planetariums in Germany. Really more than recommended.

I would give zero points for customer friendliness. We wanted to go to the planetarium for the first time last weekend, were there to the minute, we were called both at the bottom of the cash register and from above at the entrance, we should hurry up, then we can do it. So go up the stairs in a jump-off. The colleague from above, who previously said we should hurry, then closed the door with a boldness right in front of our eyes and said: "Now it is too late!" That we were stunned. Four other people were also no longer admitted, all of whom arrived with us at the same time. As an alternative, we were only offered a fanzy performance on the same evening, which we didn't really like. A refund of the tickets or tickets for the same event on another date would not work, although the alternative presentation would have been significantly more expensive. We find that illogical. More expensive on the same evening, but not reimbursement or rebooking?

Why are we told we would make it and then throw the door right in front of us? And then we find it very narrow as an alternative to only offer a really incomparable event on the same evening. We are still horrified by so little customer focus.

Fantastic trip to the stars! For all who are interested and curious, absolutely recommendable.

I was in the planetarium with three 8-year-old children suffering from diabetes. I was only allowed to take vital dextrose and other things into the room after a long discussion. When two of the children were hypodermic during the performance, we were very rude to turn off the equipment. These are medical measuring devices. How else to measure blood sugar in the dark? When one of the children had to eat something, we were again reprimanded. We will never visit the planetarium again - anyone who carelessly deals with the health of sick children has not earned any money from me!

Queen Heaven-The Original
Very interesting, inexpensive, comfortable and entertaining this time with immortal music from Queen. The information before the show was also interesting. The transit at Radio Ga Ga was not to be recommended to those who actually suffer from dizziness. Visual representation and the laser show are simply awesome. Fog in the hall could be reduced somewhat - the first three rows regularly disappeared into the artificial fog. I am not sensitive but slowly scratched my throat from this fog.
The planetarium after renovation has gotten better: benches, coffee. Exhibition, free lockers. The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The Hamburg Planetarium is always worth a visit. And as a farewell as a crowning alarm. Don't worry - we'll be back! AnkeThank you !!!

Oh my god that was bad! The location is really great but the show in which we were the absolute flop. Had to go out after 15 minutes.

Dark side of the Moon: super bad graphics to Pink Floid, music too loud, laser show bad, HD seems to be a foreign word and graphics seemed like created with WordArt.

Nice new planetarium! We really liked the show "Aurora".

Unfortunately disappoint.
Unfriendly staff, the exhibition was very poor and the elevator only worked from the third floor.
You could go to the viewing platform, and that was it.

Something disappointed. The whole cafe has before concourse ambience. Spartan, bald, loud and uncomfortable. One would like to get out immediately. Very friendly staff but the probability that I have breakfast again is minimal. Maybe in the summer on the terrace.

Very expensive. The waitress wanted to put everything in my hand. I first had to ask for a tablet and plate and glass for the beer. Service were both extremely unfriendly and totally empathetic

Very nice excursion destination was very fun and ordering tickets was very uncomplicated, presentation and place selected, paid with PayPal at the counter, said name and received cards.
We had a 3D show was great, can only be recommended.
And as a bonus, there was still a free VR glasses for full payers at a 3D presentation and that for 12.50 couldn't be better.

The planetarium is unique. Whether as a historical journey or a musical experience: it is simply a piece of Hamburg.

We were actually always very happy here, but this morning our visit was a disaster. After we found a place and wanted to order, we were first told that we couldn't get anything to eat because there are so many people with a Groupon voucher today. When we noticed that we were disappointed, the management came Annemarie. Instead of showing understanding, she said we shouldn't plum this way. Thumbs down for this poor service and overwhelmed and incompetent management.

"Fly me to the moon", unfortunately we couldn't follow at all. When the singers came on stage, I thought we ended up in the wrong film. Neither optically nor vocally they even came close to the "Rat Pack"! What could you have gotten out of Las Vegas with projections with the super technology of the planetarium? Instead, just so wild patterns above us, I would have liked great scenes from casinos, street cruisers, etc. The pianist was the only highlight. I was annoyed for my guests, it was a Christmas present.

The headphones to translate did not work, so my company did not understand anything about the show. On request for a refund of the money, no one has reported today.

Very nice place on the planetarium theme, good prices, very neat and clean. Breakfast very tasty with different types of bread and rolls. Friendly service, however, seemed to be understaffed, which is why we had to wait a bit.

Well. They should better describe the shows if they are already advertising. It was thought that they attended an information session on the subject universe and then comes out as a 0815 music and 3D would kindergarten out. As if you had taken drugs without drugs. But!! That was not my last visit yet. Next time, I'll be better advised what to expect in the event!

Actually a fan of the planetarium, but the shows on offer have really become a cheek. The last low point was "Lichtmond" - I'd rather turn on a screensaver at home and listen to music that I like. As if that wasn't enough, the viewing platform was also closed ... that's how you lose loyal customers.

The planetarium is now a bit better after the conversion. Also the cafe in the basement is very nice. In addition, the planetarium for runners and athletes numerous stairs where you can train. In winter also very beneficial, since around the planetarium much illumination is appropriate. However, there is a lot of confusion because it is not easy to see where the entry and where to find the exit.

I am in planetarium more often and I like to hear the three ??? : D

The visuals looked like they were a primary education project. Then came the radio play, which you can certainly listen to Spotify for free.

Per ticket almost 20 euros entrance fee. I recommend to watch another performance. For children under 8 years it is certainly through.

It stand in a nice park. But the queens performance is a bit disappointing. The visualisation is impressive at first but a bit boring afterwards. The sound effects is not impressive too.

The treatment of disabled people, during / during an event there, is disrespectful !! Pfui Deibel to such narrow-mindedness !!

The planetarium is regularly on our program, because the events have been consistently successful. Whether 3D show, lectures or just "star-gazing": One of the most beautiful places in Hamburg can be found here. The staff also deserves 5 extra stars: friendly, helpful and always in a good mood.

Only one event had so far disappointed us: "learn from astronauts" in July 2019 was incredibly bad and we felt like on a "butter ride" AND (!) Talk bad.

Worth a visit. "The Little Day" is fantastic for young and old.

Very entertaining, interesting and impressive shows. Nice to look at. The seating is very comfortable, but partly broken. Prices for food and drink, I have not even looked at me, but smuggled something.

Aurora - In the realm of the Northern Lights ... 8k well an n24 doku is better ... was very disappointed. Images were very blurry. and the voices or screams were very annoying. never again !!!! I would not recommend it to anyone.

After leaving the show "Light Moon" you only looked into your eyes and tried to understand what had just happened ... Flying koi carp, dancing leaf children and zebras on flying islands. For such a trip you have to invest a decent amount of money at the local park dealer and hope for good quality. Seen in this way, an ideal way for addicts to give themselves the next shot without causing physical damage ... although the experts cannot yet confirm this without any doubt. Nevertheless, one should at least be warned of such an intense experience. But honestly: What did the creators of this show take and where can you get to buy them! 1! 1elf!

Super good great children's show Musical star day. Unfortunately too few toilets.

Are very unhappy with the staff and management !!! Arrived 5 minutes late due to traffic jam with three children who ordered and paid for the tickets online. We were offered nothing as a contrast, no substitute performance, not on any other day, no voucher, nothing. We came with three children from further afield for free. We were told to write a complaint online, which we did, and we haven't responded to it yet. Not recommended to pay online !!!
