Great place in Lawrence to grab some good sandwiches, especially with all the good deals they have.

Good solid food. Nothing too impressive, but hey it was great

Worked here for 3 years. Great people and enjoyed working there. I think a lot of times people expect the subs to be ready in 2 minutes like at Jimmy John's or Subway but forget that it takes a few minutes to prepare, then 5 minutes to bake, and a few more minutes to finish the sandwiches, especially when it is busy. My advice: ALWAYS call ahead, then it will be ready when you get there. As for complaints about rude staff .. the only people we ever dealt with who were problematic were people who were pretty awful to begin with.. I always went out of my way to check on customers and make sure their food was good.

Awesome sandwiches! Their specials are great! I especially love the affordable price of a veggie sub on meatless Monday s. I pick up a sandwich from here very frequently when I need something quickly. It s homey inside and I love seeing all the fish drawings on the wall. I think it s so cool that planet sub stated with yellow sub here in Lawrence!

Food is good, not really great, but it away take a lot of time to get the sandwiches. Go wen you have time.

Great food I think it's actually better than Subway

I've been here once and had an Italian ham sub. It was delicious. I loved the food; however, the price of the subs is a little more than other fast food places in Lawrence.

Way better than Jimmy John's and Subway! They've got some unique sandwiches, but not too exotic, to put a fresh spin on your sandwich. Don't worry, they've got your classic sandwiches too, but they've actually got flavor. The staff are all super cool, but when I decide to get delivery instead, it never seems to seems to take very long.

Yellow Sub is awesome price I have been getting sandwiches there since the beginning absolutely the best sandwich around moved off from Kansas 2 years ago I moved back the very first place I wanted to eat but Yellow Sub Lawrence Kansas live in Osage City try at least once or twice a week to eat there highly recommended you won't find a better sandwich anywhere

I've always liked this place in town. But a recent order motivated me to get off my behind and give these guys a good review. I have a daughter with an egg allergy, so mayo is a no go. When I told the guy I wanted a sandwich with half mayo and half no mayo, and specifically mentioned it was an allergy related request, they made sure to wrap the second half of the sub in a completely different wrapper in the delivery bag. It seems like a small thing, but it is those kind of polite extra steps that make this place a must go sub shop when you're in town. That and the subs are really good.

I went in to Yellow Sub a little while ago for the first time since I've lived in Kansas. I normally get veggie or tuna at most sub places and it's generally ok , but not great. Today I had the best veggie sub that I have ever had . Whether it was the bread or something else, it definitely worked. I also appreciated the friendly young woman that took my order. Thank you so much, I'll be back.

Best sandwiches in town for years! Creamy Crab! Half lettuce, no tomato, add bacon and sprouts!

The way they toast the entire sandwich after making it leads to a different tasting sandwich than I've ever had anywhere else. It is wrapped in tinfoil and baked to warm up the filling as well as the bread, ideally it ends up toasted on the outside but the flavor of the filling tends to rise and fill the flavor of the bread and this creates a more filling experience as a whole.

Yesss!!!! If you live in Lawrence Kansas, and have not had Yellow Sub, what are you doing with your life? Yellow Sub is a staple of Lawrence Kansas, and, gave birth to Planet Sub of Kansas City. They have great specials throughout the week, my favorite is Sunday when I take my nieces and nephews 4 Kids Eat Free. But, all of their subs are extra delicious and the bread is the best of any sandwiches you will find in town or anywhere for that matter. Anytime I come in town, I make sure to get a Yellow Sub, a large yellow stuff, and usually one or two to go.

If you want a sub, This is the place to get it. They are the best in town. I tend to get the same thing every time. Never had a bad one. Last time I was in a worker possibly the owner came around to check on the customers to be sure all was OK. That was a nice change.

Yello Sub is a Lawrence classic and still as good as it was the first time I ate there over twenty years ago. The menu doesn't change much and the quality stays high. If you're in a hurry, call ahead; this is not fast food. They work crazy hard, but good food takes time and they are always busy if it's within a couple of hours of lunch or dinner. If you can't find something you love here, you must be impossible to please.

I always get the same thing, ham and cheese sub. Definitely one of my favorite places to go. Make sure to use their app to get rewards.

We go here quite a bit for lunch. It's always pretty good and they have decent vegetarian options.

Growing uo the sandwitch was always good. Now you send 15.00 on a foot long and it is NEVER what u want. I got a turkey club with the famous olive and cheddar melted into the bread. They said they will get it right. And i got olive smashed under meat with cheese next to it. Horrible. Just horrible. I always think i want the food but it is always wrong never taste good . and always disappointed. Unless u eat in and can have them fix there errors right away it is just not worth it. Dont waste your money on it.

Only one time have I ever had an issue with either my food or my order here, and it was taken care of immediately....along with a gift card to boot. They have the best sandwich bread in town, baked fresh daily. Excellent food!

Easily my favorite OG Sandwich shop! The Bread is what sells it for me, along with the unique style combinations available. The Cuban is super dank and the Dagwood is my go-to more often then my arteries care for, but it's SO GOOD! (Xtra Horse/Xtra Tom!). Kids love the Chicken Marinara, Creamy Club, and the Mushroom and Eggplant is delightful. Great Flavours! Sunday's kids eat free, so we've made it a traditional stop before picnicing,though before -19, in front of the fishtank was Our place!! My only bummer is that they had to stop carrying sprouts, and a green leaf option might be nice instead of iceburg, but it's insignificant by the love and efforts put into my sandwich. I can taste it every time!!

A coworker forgot to order catering for an out of town lunch meeting our boss was presenting at and we were frantic. We had very little time to find food and delivery for an entire office but Yello Sub came through for us completely! Though I unfortunately won't get to try their food, I cannot be more impressed with their amazing customer service. They even called afterwards to let us know they had dropped off the food. You are the best! Thank you so much!!!

I would have been wonderful....except after a 2 hour drive I arrived home to discover I'd been given the wrong sandwich! I'm certain they'll make it right!
