Great food. Great value. Very consistent quality and service.

I really miss the old Crossing location. But it still tastes the same. Consistent and friendly and fresh. My go-to sub is the creamy club, but I also like to order the tuna/cold + banana peppers. And yummy SporTea!

So pleased their establishment has stood the test of time. My first experience was their old location next to The Crossing. (Yup)

Everything here tastes like nostalgia! The Creamy Club is as good today as it was when I was in school at KU a long time ago. The space is pretty bland but the food it great and that is really what matters.

Great selection of sandwiches, friendly customers service, clean restaurant, plenty of seating, and great tasting sandwiches.

Happened upon this place on sales travels now stop here every time I am in Lawrence.

Small Hometown Homemade Subs. Don't want it to go to a National Franchise. It will lose that, Small Hometown Homemade Sub taste and service. Every Sub is great. But the Yello Sub itself, is the Greatest Sub Sandwich of all time!!!!

It may cost a little more than other sub sandwich places in town but Yello Sub is definitely worth every penny!

Ever since I first stepped foot into Yello Sub, I was hooked. Being from California it's hard to find a sandwich shop with fresh ingredients, on warm, toasty, fresh baked bread that are up to my standard. They do this thing I'm learning every Lawrence staple does, where they add cream cheese to items I never knew needed cream cheese. The Experience is probably my favorite sandwich in the world, I can't go about my week without at least one. Nic, the manager, has always been overly helpful, remembering me by my particular order on only my third visit. The staff is always so accommodating, and remembers me by name. This is where you go to get a great quality sandwich, in small town atmosphere at a perfect price. They run awesome daily specials that help you save even more money and even have a fish tank. Seriously, what more could you need me to say to convince you to go? Go! You won't regret it.

First of all, I love their food. But I'm really writing this review to show some appreciation to the staff and managers. I needed a small food donation for a workshop I teach for the housing authority. I was able to easily set up the donation and pick it up. Our tenants were incredibly happy about it, too.

I have been going to yellow sub for many years and have loved it every time. There are so many sandwiches that you will never run out. All of the sandwiches are high quality and service is top-notch. 11/10!

(Basically Planet Sub) Had the Tempeh Reuben, which was great. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Restaurant could use a remodel or at least new drop-down ceiling panels.

Don t know what changed but the sandwiches are below par! Twice now ordered the veggie and it was awful! Scarce ingredients plus no
melted cheese ! No napkins. Not ordering again!!! What is going on???? Don t recommend!!

Consistent and creative sandwiches that are always good for a change of pace. They hand out playing cards to track orders.

Placed an order online at 9:52pm and called in to request a call when they arrived, since we just put our son down for the night. Lazy ass on the phone said they closed in 5 minutes and wouldn't have a driver for a while, so they canceled our order while we were on the phone. Worthless.

Every time I've gone here, the food and the service are absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended!

Service was great. Mayonnaise packets from Heinz suck. First ingredient after water is corn syrup then some vinegar and then more corn syrup. GROSS. Ruined sandwich to go. Maybe get better ingredients? Also lettuce always tastes like a refrigerator. Next time I get a craving for my favorite sub from 1990 I will go to Taco Bell instead.

Wow!! What a great experience! Best romaine wrap I ve EVER had-substantially wrapped with fresh crunchy romaine. I got the Greek chicken wrap (in romaine) sooooo flavorful, juicy, tender. Hubby got Mega Roastbeef-he LOVES the bread, soft flavorful not too thick, contents so good he had to eat the whole sub!!! We will be back! Our new sandwich stop and as GF I can get romaine wraps all day!! Nick is doing a great job managing this store! Thanks Nick!

Tables are all dirty, bread to toasted and bbq sauce to tangy and gross+ I got pour and rude service.

Better than Subway, Jimmy John's, Quiznos, or any of those sub places. This has more options than any sub place I've seen.

I love this place. As a vegetarian and student they give out lot of offers, very affordable and lot of veggie options for all the vegetarians out there, also do try buffalo sauce on your sandwich if you like it spicy. And if you subscribe to their loyalty program, you get amazing deals and free sandwich on your birthday :P . And on Monday's you can get 3$ subs, can you believe that.. just 3$ and they let you combine it with their online BOGO offer too..

The same fantastic sandwiches since, and I'm sure before, I started going there in the early 1980's!

Sandwiches are always so big and taste amazing. The pickles have such good flavor.

I've been eating at this place off and on for 20 years and it just keeps getting better.

While they take a bit longer than the competing sandwich joints, nothing beats the creamy club! I recommend taking the in-store advice and calling ahead if you want to eat immediately after stepping in the door. Otherwise the wait can be up to 20 minutes on a busy day, but again, it's worth the wait. My average delivery time is about an hour from a mile away.

Ordered the pastrami 6" as is. Very good sandwich. It came toasted. Yes i would order next visit.
