I attended "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat" here in July of 2019. If you haven't attended and you like to be entertained while eating amazing food, this is the place to be! Attire for attendance seems to be mostly business casual, with women in slacks or dresses and the men wearing slacks. When you arrive, you are seated in the theatre and your drink order is taken. There is a buffet with some absolutely amazing food that you dine on before the show. You'll have plenty of time to eat and the plates will be cleared before the curtain rises. At intermission, dessert is served.

The food and drinks as well as the service has always been top of the town. The Show last night was excellent The Buddy Holly Story the kid who played Buddy sure could sing. I personally could have stayed all night listening to the music . The best show so far ....

I have come here several times with my parents. Even before the renovations of the theatre. The food and shows were amazing. Now that it has been updated it s even better. They use the technology to help set different scenes. In the play or musical being shown. Though it s my parents favourite date night place. It s pretty cool for just going with friends also.

Probably the best all around theatre experience you can find in KC. Lots of quality acts and recognizable guest stars, and a dinner buffet to die for, along with seasonal desserts and cocktails. Even if you're not a big theatre person, give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

I had an Absolutely Wonderful Time today. Whenever I visit from New Jersey my sister brings me here. And I love it! The theater and staff are excellent. The food is great and of course the shows are always joyful and entertaining. Wish I could find a venue like this back home!

I have been a season holder for years. The food was extremely disappointing! The service was great as usual with the exception of the girl wanting to clear dishes from the table. We felt very rushed. Patsy Cline was very good. I think we all love Cathy Barnett! Cathy was awesome! Please bring back some old menu items.

I remember the experience from so many years ago. I had to make surr I took my kids at least once, so we came on my birthday to a Sunday evening show. As expected, the food was fantastic! My kids ooohed and aaahed over it. The show was great fun! We loved the lighting which really set the mood and theme of the show. As far as I could tell, the place was clean (the lights were dim, so). The restrooms were immaculate and the lobby was warm and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. A manager of some kind noticed it was my birthday (might have been the tiara) and came specifically to our table to say happy birthday. It's possible he had to encourage our waiter to slow down enough to do the same. Overall, it was a wonderful, memorable night and that's what I wanted for my 50th birthday.

Our first time to the New Theater and it lived up to its billing. My wife and I didn't know what the quality of the place would be, but when we entered the dining/performance area, we realized that everything was going to be fine. The seating is stadium style with no bad views. Each table had its own small lamp with a carafe of water waiting. The wait staff was prompt for drink orders that included call brands for mixed drinks as well as instructions on how to use the buffet line and how to view and remember what dessert we might want. There were 4 buffet lines. The stage play was well acted and funny. Ended up being an evening well spent and fun. Would recommend it.
