Wow what a great experience. If you ever get arrested make sure it s this department. 5 star service, they offer free transportation services from anywhere in Ocoee to the Police Station

Completely incompetent. If you have the option, use a different police department. Good luck.

Reckless and untrained officers who are on a power trip, Ocoee PD should not be using its authority and power, which is supposed to be for protecting the public, for endangering the public with the irresponsible use of lethal force without hesitation.

Although I didn't get the answers I had hoped for, the officers were so helpful and understanding with all my concerns. Very much appreciated and certainly Love them all!

this departmemt is trash... its a department full of fools who dont know the law they try to enforce. I enjoy flexing my rights on these clowns when they dare to encounter me.

You cleared an "officer" of wrongdoing after he entered someone's fenced yard and murdered their friendly family dog? You need to look into your policies because that is clearly WRONG!

They responded in less that 5 minutes to a disgruntled and abusive customer at our business. We are super impressed as this is not the first time they responded in such a quick manner. They have always been very professional when we have needed them. I am thankful for the efforts and glad my business is located in Ocoee.

Unfortunately I have had to call the police several times due to vehicle break ins. The last time someone broke in we caught him trying to sell my stuff. I know the store owner and he held the guy and got a copy of his license before he eventually bolted. Each time I have found this department lazy and inept. They failed to finger print, they failed to follow up with the thief, they failed to follow up with me the victim. They keep a decent enough public presence and FB page, I wish they d manage their detectives better.

Called to have them check about a suspicious solicitor and ask them to check it out! My husband ask the Ocoee police dept. to not come to our house because they have a car riding around checking on them. My husband didn't want any retaliation in case it was not legit. The young female cop comes to the door to talk to my husband and the car in question rides by to see who called the cops. We called back they said there ok there collecting for a church which is not what they told us! They can not follow instructions and the dept supervisor had every excuse in the book to justify it.

After hearing the story of Duke, I am horrified by this Police Department.

Accident @ Silver Star and Clarke Road this morning. It was dark and everyone was confused. I was just trying to go through the shopping center to get around the accident but went the wrong way. I was approached by an officer who was extremely rude, hollering and screaming at me and other drivers. I realize that they were trying to keep people safe but that is not the way to talk to people. Just because they have badges does not give them an excuse for their nasty attitudes. This is why the trust for law enforcement is dwindling.

A thief stole our credit card information (We're still in possession of our credit cards.) They fraudulently used it at a Walgreens in Ocoee. I called the Ocoee Police Dept. to report it. Because I don't live in Ocoee, I was told I had to go through the police dept in the area where I lived. So, I called them. They called Ocoee and we did a conference call. The Ocoee police officer said, as previously stated, that I had to file the report with the local police dept. in which I lived. That local police officer said I had to do where the crime was committed. The Ocoee Police Officer said I had to drive all the way back to Ocoee to file the report!!! I said the manager at the Walgreens has a video record of the transaction. The Ocoee officer said, "Enter that when you drive back here to file the report." I asked if I could file it online. She said I could not do it online and had to do it in person. Wow!

Let me translate this conversation into what I heard, "We don't really care about this crime. We don't care about your safety We are going to make it as hard as we can for you to report it so we don't have to be bothered with it!" In this day and age how could you not have a system for filing a report online? This kind of disregard for the violation done against us is the reason why people have so little trust in the "public servant" portrayal of the police. There was NO servant attitude, no care in this conversation. As it is a distance to drive to Ocoee and we've only been there ONCE in our 22 years of living in Florida, I guess the police will have one less criminal to get off the street!!! This is a sorry state of affairs. If you want us to trust you, serve us, care for us. It is the public little things that communicate trust, care and service. We saw none of that.

Went here expecting to find justice for my child. Instead, I found laziness, poor investigations and no communication. Thanks for nothing!

It is okay for a police officer to shoot an 11 year dog in his fenced yard in the head and kill the dog? There is something horribly wrong with the department. Why is there no response or consequences for this action.

I must share a wonderful experience today with 2 of the OCOEE police officers
I had a blow out by the Walmart and Florida Hospital and they happened to be in the apartments across the street
Police officers were soooooo kind to help me in this horrible heat outside took off my tire put the spare on made sure my spare had the proper air. They truly were so kind helpful respectful and knowledgeable I am going to contact the chief of police with there names they represent the department with the best sincerity. God bless you both and thank you

Entered a fenced property for a non emergency and shot an 11 year old family pet. Officer is still on the force.

Well they will tell you that rfid implants are the responsibility of the hospital ,which is Ocoee Central hospital which denied me the right too remove it 1 Hour ago.

The OPD is a team of wonderful, kind, and helpful officers. Every time I have had an interaction, it s always with the utmost professionalism.

Had a series of car break ins in the neighborhood. Some stolen and vandalized property as well. Contacted Ocoee Police department, filed a report and was able to acquire evidence that could potentially identify the suspects which was turned over to the police.

Several weeks and no response. Followed up several times and nothing was done. Had a general "don't care" attitude about the whole ordeal and despite telling me they'd follow up and contact me; never received another word from them.

Don't know why we even need them to secure our neighborhood since its apparently useless. Seem to respond out of expected necessity but apparently doesn't go much further than that.

Totally disappointed
