Attended museum as part of a color guard for special presentation. Stayed to listen to guest speakers (they were great) and then walked through the static displays off all the aircraft. All in all it was informative and educational. Had a great time. Will go back.

This museum is amazing it has some of the most influential aircraft ever produced. I have a year long pass just to look at these aircraft whenever I want. Planes of fame has an original Japanese a6m0 and a Japanese me-163 reproduction the only one in existence. That's not even mentioning the their v-1 and he-162. Its only 8 dollars to get in usually and the year long pass is 75 dollars. it has bathrooms for costumers and vending machines for snack. Its one of my favorite places to go.
Amazing museum. There is a vast amount of aircraft on display, and many of them are flyable. This museum is a must visit for any aviation enthusiasts or just anyone looking for an interesting way to spend their afternoon.
Being one Veteran who served our country in The United States Air Force. I appreciate these yester-year Combat Flying Fighters. God has Blessed us with freedom here in USA. Enjoy your Country!
Wonderful. Great guides, knowledgeable staff, freedom to enjoy beautiful and a well maintained planes. They have a passion and respect for past and present and a true class presentation.
This place is soooo cool. Call ahead or look on their website for special events they have going on. This is a really cool museum! A must see if you havent been...
Awesome place, came here for the air show, parking is free and they have parking lot attendants directing you where to park which is really nice, not having to fight for parking, checking in was quick and easy, we stood in line to ride on a tram to get to the event, quick 2 minute ride. Lots of vendors there. We brought our own lawn chairs and filled our backpacks with water and snacks
Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Came away with greater knowledge about jets rockets and WW 2 prop planes. If you like vintage planes a must see. For those who might like to see the high tech of the mid 20th century it will not disappoint. Enjoy the history it is the real deal.
A Must Visit! I doubt there's another Museum on the Planet were you can walk through the restoration shop as they're working on the Aircraft! Also the only ORIGINAL flying Japanese Zero in the world!
Extraordinary collection of aircraft in airworthy condition. Several of these airplanes can only be seen here. Visitors are allowed to get very close to priceless machines on display, and in restoration.
My dad first took me there in the late 60's. I've been back with nieces, nephews, and now a grandchild. whenever I make it to California I make sure to leave a day for Planes of Fame. Great place, Great staff. The same cannot be said about Champs.
My nephew and I went to the museum. We both enjoyed seeing all the different types of aircraft that they had at the museum. Will go again in the future. For myself I loved seeing both the UH-1H HUEY Helicopter and the AH-1H COBRA Helicopter.
Awesome!!!! Great displays and well maintained. Staff very friendly and interactive. 1 day is not enough. So many exhibits, along with many cabinets with artifacts. The P-38 hanger is truly amazing.
Aviation and history enthusiasts must visit the small but interesting museum. A great foray through the, especially military aviation. The museum restores old, hardly to find flying machines. Some World War II exponents are unlikely to be exhibited in any other museum. Was a really great tip.
My kids and I absolutely loved this place. My son couldn't get enough. Lots of amazing planes very educational also. I recommend it for anyone and all ages. We all had so much fun and learned alot.
This museum is great. Huge collection of vintage aircraft. Overwhelming amount of literature that can be read about the different aircraft. Nice little gift shop with helpful, friendly staff. You could spend hours in this place looking at everything. Huge fan of the P51 Mustang which they had several to see.
This is the place for aviation enthusiasts to see, hear, and sometimes get up close to aircraft from previous wars and campaigns. The people are kind, courteous, and helpful...first-class individuals, all.
This is one of southern California treasures. This is a living history museum focusing on aviation and it's contributions during war and peace. The aircraft here are in many states of repair with the goal of getting as many flying as possible. Many of the planes here do fly and the staff, docents and mechanics are all very friendly. They do an amazing job of preserving the 20th century.
This museum has everything it is a great trip for family friends kids. Etc It also has frequent flying events where the actual aircraft are flying can't recommend this enough. Follow them on Facebook to get updates.
Step back in time...everything is so exciting to learn about. I cannot believe out in a. Big plot of land hangers full of yesterday planes. We found a great place to learn
Although it was such a countryside, there are a lot of active aircraft, and it is a museum that is remarkable. There is also a genuine zero fight, and aircraft of various histories are rustling.
Great museum for war bird enthusiasts and for anyone who enjoys flying history. Come to the museum and check out all the static displays and the authentic warbirds that actually fly.
If you're into planes, particularly World War II era planes, cancel your Disneyland ticket and reserve a day here. You can just stroll around on your own or take a tour. You may see a crew of volunteers restoring one of the only existing flying wing planes. You may even hit on a day when they take it for a flight. There's a roof full of carrier based aircraft in a hanger made to resemble the lower flight deck of the USS Enterprise WWII carrier. The B-17 bomber you see out front is usually staffed by docents, often some actual crewmen of this plane (now in their later years so don't wait too long). They have Vietnam era prop and jet planes, observation planes, planes from every side of every conflict. If you are hard core, find out when their next air show is. Bring your camera, a chair and sunglasses and hat. You won't regret it.
Great collection of historic planes! Hangars have their own theme, (USS Enterprise section very amazing) and of course the awesome P-38 Lightning has its own hangar! Extra level of cool - most planes at the museum are still in flying form and used often! Highly recommended!
